  1. i'm one of those that have taken part in some of the "arguments," but i would like to point out that after i'm in one, i pm accordingly (something that most don't see and think they don't happen.)

so, i'm sorry kic for any argument, or what is labeled as an argument by other members, that i've been apart of.

  2. Gunnarson, who lives in the Riding Mountain area, injured his right foot Tuesday when it was clipped by a roller-coaster car that was zooming down tracks where he had been chained and handcuffed.

Gunnarson had freed himself and was diving to safety when the car caught his foot.

"It's sore. There's internal bleeding and it's swelling and it's causing me a great deal of pain. It just hurts like heck," Gunnarson said Thursday.

He arrived home from China late Wednesday night.

Gunnarson, who was shooting the escape in Beijing as part of a Chinese TV special, said he doesn't believe anything necessarily went wrong, the car just clipped him as he was diving to safety.

"It was a fast roller-coaster," he said. Although the injury is a painful one, it's far from his worst.

edit: 100 kph is roughly 51 mph

  3. excellent trip report, i love sea world and all their conservation efforts.

seeing this trip report really makes me want to get back to the one in orlando, i haven't been there since i was five or six.

oh, i think that stadium you weren't sure of is where they preform non-animal shows, like 'cool vibrations' at sea world san antonio.

  4. ^yea, i was telling adam last night on facebook about how last time i rode front seat on the red racer i hit my lower neck on the top of the head rest multiple times, just to gauge how much ejector air that is, when i set in the seat, flat on my butt, my head barely reaches the top of the head rest. B)

  5. i never said they went to roller coaster corp. of america first, stop putting words in my mouth.

i'd be shocked if they were the first ones that were asked, all i said was that for the right price they most likely would have done it.

did you ever think their price tag (either cci, or gci), wasn't in the parks budget. there is more that goes into a parks decision of who to have build something than whether or not the company wants to.

Again, when I'm trying to have a conversation, you turn it into a debate. Not new.

all i did was do the exact same thing you did, i posted my ideas and beliefs, just because they are different from yours does not make it an argument, it makes it a discussion (something that happens in a discussion forum), for you to think it's an argument makes me think you want it to be one.

  7. all i'm saying is that if someone asked me to do something more extreme than what i'm used to, as long as i had the correct funding, i'd happily attempt whatever it was they were wanting me to do.

i mean, it's not like they would have been asked to build the world's tallest steel coaster with a launch, instead they would have been asked to build something they were used to, just on a bigger scale.
