Are you serious? I thought the lines were great on sunday's!
-
FOF probly has the most sophisticated lap bar but ive seen people just stand up in them before they were unlocked when it was in the station to. A kid wiggled out of a drop zone harness in great america to. If you want out of it and your body is right you can get out. Reguardless of how the restraint is made. Just like handcuffs most people cant get them infront of them but I know and seen people that have.
-
They are retractable so noone can sit on em lol. The belts arent nearly as bad as everyone makes them sound though.
-
Sunday's are GREAT when its not summer. Especially at night. During fearfest the park was nearly empty.
-
BTW Almost all (id say like 99%) PTC trains will be getting these. PTC sent out letters recomending the installation so its not really the parks fault here. They just want everyone to be as safe as possible.
-
No sign of a sign yet

Fact is once pki is the best family park for years. Now they are focusing on themeing. If they get themeing and the family aspect's done correctly only one thing left to go
-
The seatbelts are retractable and from what i can tell extend all the way to the 1st click on the bar. I dont think they will hurt airtime hardly at all. I almost wander if it isnt more for a liability reason to have them. The person physically has to undo their belt to be able to stand up etc.
-
I havnt heard anything and there is noway unless it locks on the actual belt itself and a ride op had to walk up to it for a ride op to be able to control a belt on the eagles. I havnt heard anything about changing the eagles.

Who Would you Like to see in concert at the park?

I must be the only one on here who likes trance/techno lol. -
ACE will probly be changing the rule. Or at least they should. Almost all PTC trains are going to be having these. Not to mention as times change eventually we are going to be tearing down coasters that were trully great things and were installed with belts from the beginiing.

Jeff is a awesome guy. Ive only met him once but he seemed like one of the nicest guy's ive ever met. If you just spend like 5 minutes with him you can tell he really loves what he is doing. Im looking forward to eagles with him!

Fof isnt manufactured by arrow either. But they did have a serious headbanging problem. Vortex would be weird without the otsr the way its made might really hurt your whole upper body instead of just your head if it had the new lap bar's. Think of how your whole upperbody swings around on Adventure Express it could be like that on Vortex without the otsr's. That would suck more then the headbanging. On your 2nd ride on Vortex you know where to put your head to keep it from hurting though lol. People usually learn that quickly.
-
If you mean its the only arrow looper then that is obviously wrong. lol The Vortex is one of the few steel coasters that the name is actually used in other parks. Canada wonderland has one there's is a suspended, Vortex at carowinds is a stand up, and Vortex at great america is also a stand up.

Oakenfold Paul Van Dyke Tiesto Arman Van Buuren Cass and Slide Hey I can hope! lol -
^ arrow isnt really worried about developing for their older restraints they have ran flawless for over 20 years without any problems. Why fix it if it isnt broke?
-
Those arrow restraints have never failed on a coaster. Thats a GREAT track record for them. I think they are fine the way they are. They do click if you cant hear it you can still feel it. Its normal to get a another clip on the hills all of your "extra weight" is thrown agaisnt you and it is compacted so the restrait still can come down. Then when you stop back at the block's it feel's alot tighter then when you left the station lol. (ive did this on sob b4 and my leg's were going numb in the blocks not very fun at all)
-
I think itll be ok... They will be annoying but nowhere near a problem. Im sure youll get smacked by a few when riding some of the woodie's but itll only happen like once or twice(for the entire summer) id say. It isnt going to be like a mass swarm of death.

The law is posted at every entrance.

Which coaster has the best color scheme? If yours isnt listed say it down here.

There are 3 actual documented ghost stories at PKI. The other's are not anywhere in any documents etc. These arent PKI documents but book's about haunted places ETC. It mentions Tower Johnny which is believe to be the spirit of the guy who in a drunken stuper tryed to climb the outside of the eefiel tower and fell to his death. Inbetween the camground and the parking lot their is a cemetary ( you can see if from the eefiel tower) there is believe to be a girl that haunts that area and the area where they park the trams after closing. She likes to play hide and seek with them. The Beast also has LOTS of sightings but this is believed to be a wayward spirit (this means they just pick a spot to haunt because it seem's cool or they liked that spot when they were alive). The most common hauntings are belived to be caused by sudden or tragic death instead of just wayward spirits. The effiel tower ghost hasnt been heard of in years. The Beast im guessing gets sightings of weird stuff but its just people saying they saw stuff. Havnt heard anything about the cemetary girl either. All of this info was in Haunted Ohio (not sure which book in the series but its one of them). Im sure their are many spirited in pki it is a great family place. I also believe that every building is haunted its just whether or not the ghost wants to be known. wow this is about the longest post ive did on here :-x If anyone has any questions about anything or ghosts just lemme know lol I did alot of research on ghosts etc awhile back so I know alot. Im friends with some paranormal investigators to. I know a couple stories about Cedar Point to if anyone wants to hear them just get ahold of me.

Jeff said that even if you split them apart. They would still be the 2nd (cant remember which) popular ride in the park.
-
Derbeast see if you can work your train magic and see if B & M will design us a new train ride for 05!

Whatever it is. Im sure it will be pretty sweet.
