LOL I like the electric char guy too. He'll get some of the employees as we're leaving for the night But last saturday was probably up there with one of the worst in the past 3 years. I know at one point in time, I walked my Urgent Scare line to warm up a little and check things out. I think I got to just past the goblet toss and saw the line at least to X-base (before the fog kicked in) and went "o dear Lord..." and turned back around. Now I think maybe an idea would be for maybe season pass holders (or everyone) to do what they do at CP when they got Millenium. Have a timed ticket dispenser. We're now doing that with ppl in a wheelchair, where we give them an approximate wait time, to come back at the time, and get to go in at the front of the line. Kind of a good idea once the kinks get worked out, and everyone understands it (including the guests!!) But for some of the bigger (or newer, ie. Urgent Scare) maybe giving ppl a wait time, to come get back in line, might be a good way to go!

yeah and she didn't even come say hi to me outside stupidmeanfairie *kicks dirt* just kidding. and hey those 3 guys that came over from cornstalkers rocked! They played well with me. and made for some good distractions outside when it started getting really monotonous! Yeah these first 3 saturdays have a lot of Homecomings I guess, but we fill in what and when we can! I don't think we did too bad over there on saturday.

And this is reason #1 that I still say the park needs to charge a seperate admission....most of those type of people are season pass holder who come night after night just to try to be the "cool guys" Many of which would not spend $30 a night to come to the park. Seasson pass holders??? Really, wow I for one am and absolutely love FearFest, err HH. How about the parents that use the park to babysit their kids for the night? Or any other group. You have no idea who the "cool guys" are... He's not saying ALL he's simply saying that this group of ppl are most likely pass holders, otherwise they wouldn't pay the money to "not be scared" not dissing the pass holders that we love that come out to have a good time.

one of the scarers in line for urgant scare saw me sitting on the rail and she came up to me and said"please dont sit on that hun. you might fall and get hurt" haha Lets see... I know i had to actually break character to tell ppl to get off the rails there. I never worded anything like that, but when i break character it's becuase I've pointed to the ground and tried to get you to figure out that you're supposed to get down, then break it after you don't get the clue after the 15th time... And I TOTALLY agree with Karen on this. I hate ppl that say "they never even scared me" Maybe b/c all you did to the last one was 'laugh in their face and tell them they sucked' so why would anyone else (who may have been able to scre the crap out of you) even try after that childish reaction! Its a lot of the younger kids that I don't even get why you come out if all you're going to do is belittle the characters hard work that they've put in, when we have to waste it on someone who's just going to screw off, try to hump dance you, ask for your number, tell you "I'm not scared" (even tho you're looking around every corner to find that person BEFORE they scare you.) OK i'm done with my 'grow up' rant now lol I didn't think the monsters were allowed to touch the guests...Or do you mean free sodas? At Kings Island? Small Pops=pop scares. where they pop outta nowhere and make you jump. Any more rhetorical question?

OMG! i HATE that "song" with a passion! it drives me nuts when i have to walk through coney maul and hear the stupid thing after Urgent Scares closed and that thing comes on and is on the ENTIRE walk through the area. It makes me crazy all over again...

Thanks, but yeah as he said, believe it or not, everything was still not set up this weekend we are normally supposed to have 70+ ppl, and were working with maybe 50. AND yes the Magnum thing is true, but again the video is not finished. Well, what we wanted to have. Still don't know if we'll have something up for next weekend yet or not. If you listened to the EMT's and the lady at the front, you could figure it out real quick But i appreciate the thing abuot the front part being good Trust me, thats one of the hardest places to be

hey now... don't make me send you to the hospital lol the lines are normally longer on saturdays, since the parks open all day, theres more ppl, and ppl will wait in line starting at like 4:30-5 (like UrgentScare last night. But looks can be deceiving. Urgent Scare's really not as long as it looks, b/c the line starts/ends? right under the tunnel. So don't let it through you off.

Actually I disagree.....having returns come in for an "audition" gives the park casting team a chance to talk to them about their experiences from the last year and gives the returning scare team member a chance to talk about what they would like to do for the year, and in some cases even request to be cast in a specific attraction. I think it is not insulting at all. The returners can ask to go to a specific area. And they ask you if you'd like to return to the same attraction or not. I told them I wanted to either be a roamer or in the new one, and tada. In the new one

I'm totally stoked to unveil Urgent Scare and can't wait to hear what you guys think about it! But some of the mazes are amping up their energy this year. Got a chance to do some rehearsal walk throughs last night, and I'm one of those stupid ppl that everyone (including me) hates that you jump at them and i go "hi how are you" and laugh at things (this is to mask the fear btw;)) but i'll admit there were a few times i got a little spooked! Even in my own attraction when i knew it was coming!! Friday's going to be amazing. Not quite sure how croweded it'll be, but Friday will be better than saturday, as most of the kids are at the football games, and may come later after the fact (from what i've seen in years past) but it won't be nearly as crowded as saturdays. Can't wait!!!!!!!

I'm glad you'll go experience it. Mind you they only showed what 3 different scenes? And how big is the AFX theatre?! Can anyone else tell I'm totally psyched for this?!?!

Thats out of the 10 best amusement park haunts, not out of every single haunted attraction, but i do believe uss nightmare made it in the top 10 of the other list.. O snap! lol kidding. And definately do haunt rather than closing day. It's gonna be a blast! And Urgent Scare is going to be absolutely intense! And if you were excited to just see some of the props, just you wait. I think it's going to be amazing ;)

Yes, everything at Kings Island is safety first. Well I knew the chains would be taken off, assuming that chainsaw wielding monsters would actually be there. I just didn't know if they actually were there or not. Would it be a hunted house without chainsaws sometimes?! lol. thats just kind of a given. And OMG!! I can't wait til Friday to see what everyone thinks of the new attraction All I can say its gonna be awesomely intense! See me there!

Personally... I'd say go with the big attractions first. I know you can hit Cornstalkers on the way in on the other side of the Eiffel Tower and then progress to the mazes and then hit work site on the way out (or even on the way to go see Dead Awakening at 12:15 ;))but logically most things are set up in groups of 2 or 3 attractions close to each other. just follow a logical progression and you should eb fine.

It's a music video for some song. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the band or the song it wasnt the monster song was it? with guys in a van and big foot shows up and it looks like its from the 80's? The play the song on Fridays for the Wall of monsters and that song is call Monster by The Automatic. If you describe the video it might help

The only problem with that though is the safety issue becuz the way it is ppl are constantly trying to go through the exit, and with some of the set ups (ie crates and tursn in corstalkers, the cars and barrels in work site) and all the fog, ppl don't tend to listen, and that would be nice, except a lot of times the scareactors can time their scares and "blend back in" before enother group comes. I really think its more a security risk than anything.
