I've heard some crazy things going around! Diamondback is a no-brainer, but I've heard wild things like Vortex Finally being removed, The Beast's entrance not only being redone but the entire Beast area getting a complete make over, I've heard the train is going to be revived and revamped, and even some say the retheme of Nick U will take place this offseason instead of next! Only Time Will Tell...... Bite your tongue on that Vortex thing! That's my baby you're talking about! lol thats my "beast" Now the rest of that... no big deal. Bring it on... but no touching my Vortex

Dad got the phone trip report right after the show; Peanut was excited she met you. Unfortunatly Dad was at work and can't make all the visits with the rest of the family; Peanut and Family made it to 61 visits this season, dad only 31 Thanks to everyone at KI who put FUN in a kids life. Dad heck those kids made it fun for us!! They are so cute and I can't believe they gave up trick-or-treating to come see me

***DISCLAIMER*** I'm one of those ppl who refuse to call the rides by their new names OK, so it seems, that I seemed to miss everyone in the park today. Now don't hate me... but today was the first day I went to the park all Summer (minus having to work for Haunt) I know... I suck... But it was still fun, and I didn't have to be all bloody! yay! So lets see... Got to the park around 2/2:30. GORGEOUS Day!! And got conned into starting off on EXtreme Skyflyer, as I've never done it. OMG what a way to start out the day! lol and upon talking to one of the ride ops, who was a friend of the friend with me, most ppl thought the last day was yesterday so yay! Skyflyer = amazingness <3 Then I got dragged to SOB. Walk-on. I haven't been on it since they took the loop out. Then went to a favorite!! Top gun!!! ok now I really hate to admit this, but after some convincing to sit in the front seat... I prefer the front over the back. ugh. I hate saying those words. Next was Drop Zone <3 the best part was watching the girl freak out in line when the gust of wind from the downfall caught her WAY off gaurd! Then to Festhaus sinc I found out they were still doing Ghouls Gone Wild, and found out it wasn't until 4:30. So decided to do Adventure Express since we had a half hour to kill. Backseat walk on. Back to Festhaus to get food and watch the show. For once I get to catch a Haunt show instead of just hearing it! lol Incredibly funny. Chatted with Dane, Ryan, and The Don (lol) and got to meet Peanut! who, along with their younger brother saw me after the show and said "hey! You're the girl in the Hospital!" "Yeah, you were the one chained to the bed!" I died laughing!! I still don't know if its a good or a bad thing to be recognized out of costume! But I guess I left an impression on them! HA! Oh, and met mom too ok next onto Coney Maul to ride my favorite! Vortex <3<3<3 and again, got talked into a new seat by my friend. 2nd last seat. OMG! major airtime on the first hill!!! My new favorite all over again!!! <3 Then it was onto the Crypt (I call it this since it's a totally different ride now) I'm sad to say... I just don't care for it anymore I can't do that many loops BUT the great thing about it... I got to enjoy my baby DB in all its glory! I actually just had to go and stand by the lockers and hug the support! True story i have a pic but its incredibly grainy. darn camera phones. Next stop. The Train. One of my fellow Urgent Scarians (yes i just made up a word) was working the back of the Train so i went to go see her. And got a GREAT spiel from her and my friend (a former ride op-of the train for a bit) It was great! and I even learned something new! lol I know we definitely gave the family in the back with us a good laugh. Got to enjoy DB a lot more too. By now, the food was fully settled and we decided to head to Italian Job lol a 4 train wait for the front seat (which I had never done since now you can pick instead of being assigned a seat... like I said... it's been awhile since i've gone) After that, took a little break to enjoy the scenery (since i haven't seen any part of the theming other than Coney Maul) and took in some more DB glory, then headed over to The Beast Met up with Dane, Ryan, Bill, Robbie, Don, and Gator!! We waited outside with the ACEers to get the last ride on The Beast!! And we sure did! 2 in fact! ("Now enjoy your really real last ride of The Beast this year!) lol It was great!!! Well... minus the fact, that the next time I see Dane, he's still getting punched ugh we're going through the first tunnel and he's behind me and slowly reaches his hands over my shoulders and grabs them scaring the ever living crap outta me! Just to prove a point that i couldn't hurt him from where I was! And I only put that so ppl would see how evil he really is! lol It was a great day and I wouldn't have changed a thing!! I had an absolute Blast!!! and just wished I would have been able to get up there more this summer. But with a new job it was hard. Thanks again for everything guys and i'll see you next April when we start camping out! ~Rachel

Closing day is Nov. 2nd not the 6th. Yes! I forgot about that. Hopefully I'll be on the last Beast train of the season like I was last year. Only this time, my wife and daughter will be with me so we'll have to figure something out since GatorGirl's not 48" yet. Maybe Mrs. Gator won't mind staying with her. OOoo.. Me Too Me too!!! lol and Normally Fridays have been A LOT less crowded than saturdays, but that was mainly (i think) becuase of football season, but now only those in the playoffs have games, so more of the little hellions will be out... so its a tough cal, but i still think friday will be good, maybe ppl will be hitting up other haunted attractions, b/c they came on saturdays before *crosses fingers*

I refuse to call them by their new names. Hell, half the time i can't remember the new names I know i'm such a rebel right? where the hell is there a kennel?!?! You can't blame the monsters. Some of them are only there to work the haunt. They don't get the whole "ok these are the new names you are not allowed under any circumstances to call them by the old ones or forever rue the day when you lose your job on the spot" speech lol If you love coasters you HAVE to visit America's Roller Coast lol I'm going to admit here i love it way more than KI (but i'm partial cuz i'm originally a Northerner plucked down in Cincy. but CP is pretty much amazing *sigh* <3 HAHAHAHAHAHA I literally LOL'ed at this!!!

lol i've gotten you on the phone before! And I loved the night you were there with the one younger girl and me and paul came over to give you a hug... and she was absolutely horrified!!! MADE MY NIGHT! lol We love you Karen and no more chickening out of Urgent Scare and sending Sharon in by herself... you might not see her again next time ;)

Oh, you should've seen the people at Fright Feast on that night. 30 roamers/creepers versus 18 guests. man that had to be great!! i know Urgent Scares longest wait time was maybe 20 minutes. and that was when it first got going. it was amazing! but unfortunately no line scaring

By the end of Haunt, a lot of the scareactors have learned what works and what doesn't, so the technique is MUCH improved from the 1st 2 weeks. and the good/bad thing (you decide) is there are less ppl in the attraction, either from them not being good and either quitting/getting reassigned, or from previous involvments, or just being done with it in general and not being able to "hack it"

The weather plays a big part in the fog the chillier and damper it is (like this past weekend) the more its going to just "hang" and not lift more than 10 ft off the ground. blame science thats why its also the same time of year as a lot of school delays.

It was on the fritz this weekend. no matter what we did to it we couldn't get it to "mist" some one some where quit using their water so it was all coming out of our nozzle lol
