So what started out as the coaster God's being against me and my friend Casandra, Sunday turned into a great day!! even with the rain! So me and Casandra got up bright and early (me in KJ's and Ashers dilema of probably making a not so good choice to drink the night before lol) We had way to much fun getting ready, and trying to get our lovely styling products to work. How i found a crimper in my house i'll never know. Headed out on the road, took some time at McD's why we always stop at that slow one we'll never know. Passed an at least 3 car pile up on 75 with it and a fietruck taking up 2 lanes, then construction slowdown, but that new part of 75 at rt 4 is amazing btw. it started raining in Dayton, and ppl seemed to forget how to drive. driving so slow almost causing us to be in an accident. Hit every red light on tylersville mason road but 2, trust me i started counting. All the while my text messages are blowing up my phone Got to the parking lot got sunscreened up. went to HR to get my Haunt tickets, dealt with the line there then dealt with them going through an entire box of envelopes to look for the one with my name on it, that seemed to be in no particular order. Dealt with security and having every person in front of us with 3 bags each i swear! Finally got through the gate and pretty much ran back to DB before Angie hired a sniper to pick me off off the Eiffel Tower <3 I was looking pretty amazing if i do say so myself lol We decided to wait on the rest of the group to get off DB before we went on for Justin's 100th ride, thinking it'd be better to have the KIC train and see if we could break the 22 person record. Went with steph and her girls to take pics of their train. Saw the MOST GLORIOUS site on the way to crypt. There was a basketball in the net where it should be The KIC'ers are in rows 4-14 then we took a nice big group photo and thats when a few ppl dispersed and we went for Justin's 100th ride, doing the wave during the ride. LOVE IT! After DB i went and got my first ride on LBGC thanks to stephs little one we then decided we needed to take the new KIC traditional picture and while taking that one, the group that rode avatar met up with us and we nailed a 13 person pic, that still has taht "realistic" factor to it! Then it was picnic time for us out by the employee lot, while the others went to wendy's. as me justin and cass headed back in we ran into kyle ashers and brother heading out and talked with them for a bit, and decided to part ways before we got caught in the impending rain. We then proceeded to head to AE as it started to drizzle, but it was closed, but we all happened to meet back up there, and went to go see if FoF was running. the entire filled outside queue made us turn right back around lol. So it was off to Festhaus after a quick radar check, and half the group stayed to watch the show, while dustin, dustin's dad, me, cas, beatle and his boys, derrick, and goofy went to go ride viking fury. It shut down just as we got in line. So i still have never ridden that ride. But the carousel was open! so we headed there me and cass the boys Beatle's shortest boy lol he felt left out ...more in next post...

That may have been the single greatest thing that day... well maybe after the 13 person scooby pic hahaha and angie will you EVER let the anger of the coasters gods that day go haha <3

its not like we took one with only 4 of us and me trying to actually climb on top the thing right before this pic..... oh wait.... *insert non existent angel smiley here*cough*hint*cough* yeah but as slow as the bumper cars were... it was hilarious! we only made it halfway around haha ok.... i have never once ever thought of putting you and quiet together in the same sentence... not even since the first time we met when you yelled at me across The Beast station lol OMG!!! i totally forgot about that one! Dustin i hope we can figure something out for the July potential campout thing. it was great getting to be crazy with you again. and to exchange our pics for these via text message lol

Unfortunately, my school still does the whole paddling ordeal. I got paddled in a church parking lot last week. I hate being a freshmen. LOL theres a difference... i guessing you got paddled by a group of seniors not your teacher lol *shudders* i too remember those days of paddles and pushing pennies til your nose was about to fall off ugh lol good luck this summer!

My teacher said it IS still legal to paddle kids under the law (in Ohio at least), but school districts just 'outlawed' it. Anyone know anything about this? I know the private schools still do and can. and TB i remember back when it was ok for other parents to discipline a child, but anymore jeez... I remember friends parents disciplining me and no one had problems with it, and i'm obviously ok. I will go teacher mode on kids in line. I caught myself doing it at the Columbus zoo awhile back, twice! (well one time was pointed out to me) lol I have no qualms dealing with children, either from a teacher standpoint, or the fact that i have 52 cousins, only 4 older than me... (thats just one side of my family... and i wish i were joking) So you learn who';s gonna be a troublemaker and when to drop it. but most of the time if you even bring it up to the kid, they'll comply in some way, or give you a sob story. one way or the other...

Which is precisely why I intend to make my own. Sounds like a perfectly great idea to me. I've always wanted to make the basic outline of a car from The Beast or something into the coolest bed frame ever. Mine will have to withstand a little more force than the above, and definitely have good upstop wheels. Perhaps, perhaps not. Terpy, who'd make some comment about the forces experienced by a bed, but is mindful of the restraints that exist, so to speak ROFLMFAO!!!! Terpy!!! I had to wait for my keyboard to dry out from the water i spit all over it before i could type this (but you took the words practically out of my mouth)

you eat those words right now!!!! LOL omg i sound like my grandmother... theres no reason they can't stick a giga by them both... theres a pretty club blood building that could be moved *runs away from Gator* But as Jackson stated.... its quite a small area. i would be the first person on board for a Ferris Wheel!! (25 and still have to ride the carousel and misses the old time cars) but i just try to imagine one there and can't do it. i mean that area's only the size of a smoking section for crying out loud. and if they went back to changing the theatre movie every other year, it'd get more ppl. they really need to realize that Spongebob has been overkilled and is dead, and i love that thing, but seriously how many years.... and now with the popularity/newness of Urgent Scare (<3) not to mention the VAST theming and equipment etc that goes into it. it takes 100 just to staff the darned thing effectively, i dont see the theatre going poof anytime soon. But for the time being I COULD see a small "scarezone" type haunt going there.... you can have Haunts in a close vicinity (hello death row and trail of terror are right next door) plus red beards building got torn down, and is going to have to go somewhere, unless it replaces one (*crosses fingers* my fellow Haunt ppl know exactly which one i'm talking about too ) PLUS there will be a new Haunt this year, what it is, 99% of us aren't special enough to know yet, but it IS known to the ppl that need to know, and there will be a new one. Its gotta go somewhere.... so it's NOT impossible. Improbable? most likely, but could happen. (*goes to start a "whats the haunt" Rumor thread*) O:)

I think you are on to something here, how about Mike Rowe comes in and helps clean the park during the offseasson. Especially the gum wall, I think that would be an awesome episode of Dirty Jobs. I think Don needs to email the Dirty Jobs website with this idea, maybe do it during Haunt so Mike can help set it up and then take a spin on DB at the end of the day. Great publicity for the park. OMG!! i was totally thinking this!!! This might be the single greatest thing for the park!! and i haven't seen anything done quite like it on the show so i think it would work really well!! You'd think with all the new things added and new management they would give more of a crap... but i'm really starting to wonder if getting rid of Paramount really was a good thing or not... yes we've had some great new additions.... but then again, theres still the same flippin problems..

ROFL!!! i <3 you terpy!!! that made my day!. at least tell me its a pinstripe suit... or one of those amazing powder blue ones with the ruffles normally my camo pants and a tank top with my pink hoody but i just bought new grey cargo capris with snap and zip pockets that i think is gonna become my staple with my new KIC shirt except for random meet up days in which we decide on a theme like glam rock and totally have fun being stupid and getting those weird looks and rumors started

Couldn't agree more... I always stop and smile for a second and don't mind... After all, if my kids and I died in a car wreck on our way home, our family could find that little pink card and buy our last pic online...... OMG!!! THATS HORRIBLE!!! remind me to smack you next time i see you for that! but i agree its 10 secs no biggy. its more fun when you do stupid stuff/make dumbass faces ok i have been guilty of this one before

I think this was a little uncalled for. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA sorry... If you go through posts of years ago you'll see me there long before I was here.... but there are a few ppl and only a few kind of important ppl here that understand what went down a few years ago... and drove quite a few ppl away from that site... so please... i know EXACTLY what kind of immaturity KIE has to offer... unless things have done a complete 180... which i doubt highly....

first off... JUSTIN RODE DROP ZONE?!?!? lmfao sorry had to. Danielle it sounds like you might have extra cartikledge built up around your kne, hence why the fluid is there, and that cartiledge may have rubbed against your tendon or even lodged in between your kneecap and knee. not that i'm speaking from experience or anything that sounds similar to what happened to me

Congrats TY (even if they put KIE on it UGH) But Ryan i dont think anyones hatin on Ty, it is a great picture!! but like a few ppl have mentioned... it just doesn't scream "Ride Warrior" to me.... glad i'm not alone on this and while we're all posting i'll throw mine in there too

Honestly i think row 2 is a better ride than row 1 and i've ridden both multiple times right after the other. and also, i'm suprised KI Man hasn't commented yet, as far as front row, rows 9-13 are also amazing, and for some strange reason top row 1, but not row 2 lol i'm partial i LOVE row 2 but as far as leaving your row for the first... it is ppl like you that cause there to be empty rows, and screw up the srl and set off the whole chain of events to not being able to get the ride out at capacity. I have only been denied a choice seat 1 times, and that was on a very busy day, there they got behind on assigning rows, and they might have been sending out empty seats if they didn't get moving. and its a lot of the same employees assigning seats.... and they do see when you skip your row for another. I've seen them go as far as to on the microphone call out someone who jumped to another row. so they do see these things, and if they see you constantly screwing up their order, of course i would deny you a choice seat too..... just sayin

try going on a friday not near as many problems or teenagers thanks to football games but I'll agreewith TrainedBeast... not ALL employees are bad, many people, such as her, are AMAZING employees and pretty much overcompensate for those lack luster ones

and i'm still broke.... lol

Thats the thing that gets me about KI..... I know they have a pretty extensive security force, but i know personally, i hardly see their presence.... yes DB has a done a better job of having an officer stantioned and kind of roaming the que, but he needs to go to the second set of queue's as well, as i see the majority of it happening. But i also know that there are a few exceptional employees that have been around. In fact i believe it was RWW that a group of us went into guest relations and wrote up 3 positive write ups yes we're dorks like that. but even with those great ppl, there are a few bad apples, and i've seen them, and they all seem to work together.... which makes it even worse.... and then some ppl (like me ) still hasn't heard back from the park in ways of employment.... ugh lol

LOL thats what i did with Beatle on opening day this year. I had spied him and his boys at Haunt one night, i found out later didnt know it at the time) and thanks to me readin PTR's knew what they looked like, and in line for Vortex i kept thinking "i know him...." lol finally just said hey are you on KIC and he laughed and went yup i was thinking the same thing. lol so don't be afraid to. whats the worst that happens they look at you funny and you never have to talk to them again and maybe they join the site afterwords?! lol ok maybe not but still

You should thank them. The way those restraints are designed, they only have a maximum of 4 clicks. On both The Beast and The Racer, all riders are required to lower the lap bar a minimum of 2 clicks in order to ride. Had you not been able to get the second click, you would NOT have been permitted to ride. Technically, it is not the ride operators responsibility to get your second click if you cannot get it yourself. They could have simply not permitted you to ride. ummm read that again... he says he FELT like it was trying to get the 2nd click. Stalker, who has met Agent, and he does not have that problem ps. i know that stapler too. he tried to get me all the way to the full 4 clicks i swear and i finally told him off... he kinda runs away from me when i come in now and i learn to sit on the other side
