Terpy wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't make someone think And i would LOVE to witness that.... or at least know when yuo do... for i feel its inevitable but with that. i love the horn <3 in fact thanks to kat its my text message ringer for KICer's and i also love the roar but only when in a different part of the park from rivertown... it just seems so much more prominent and eerie and amazing

ROFL!!! *cleans water off her screen!!! (and keyboard)* Unfortunately we were in a working theatre so there was nothing to be thrown and i forgot my newspaper darn it. but omg comparing it to marty's party is priceless!! maybe we'll have to make a kic rocky outing during that word we shall not mention oh and justin... the night ride was my 19th so and you also forgot the rain ride on the carousel and bumper cars

LOL i'm so glad that was p and my battle scars on my hand have healed from that fateful ride. we're glad you finally conquered it and allowed us to go along with you AND ROFL!!!! @ KIC initiation!! I think we brought Coaster Kid into our group rather nicely now if he ever shows up with us again i guess time will tell! and i'm glad you also used my proof of Keiko Coaster getting sang to... i love it! I'll try to get my ptr up 2morow after i get done teaching the little kiddies

LOL Blue angel!! that could have very well been me! i'll totally have fun with the little kids, but as a Haunt scareactor I can attest to both of those. Yes, quite a few kids LOVE haunt! (Such as Beatle's and Hamoperator's kids) and they are a joy to have come through! But on the other hand, there are those parents who (and pardon my wording) are just dumb! They drag their kicking and screaming kids barying their heads into their parents through. Both at Urgent Scare and at Club Blood, I have been there when we've had to actually turn on the overhead lights and quit scaring ppl (or go hide in the back emergency exit paths out of sight) so that some little kid would come out of hiding because they were THAT scared. it really is no fun for us, b/c we're stuck not scaring, and if you get other people in that group their upset cuz some kid is ruining their fun. I've seen it happen both ways. but if your kids are good for it, major props to you and them! they're what make it enjoyable! and i hope you do this year! and when you drop by Urgent Scare make sure you say hi before you go into the hospital

and how could I forget last night... Gabe at DB TOTALLY ROCKS! lol he dealt with us bickering and trying to get everyone on the same train and did it all with a smile on his face (and the occasional shake of the head wondering to himself why he associates with us crazy a$$es lol) So i need to give MAJOR props to him for being so accompanying. and even hooking us up with the single rider we wanted in our group

Ok, so I totally need to add CHarles on The Beast crew to this list! He's awesome! He was cracking us up last night wearing a pair of those oversize glasses, and he even joined in our chant of "one more time" when we pulled into the empty station lol

Kinda like sleeping in lead based paint cribs back in the day, and not having cell phones, and babies not having to have all the little "safety features" that are out there today... including toys back in the day... *sigh* and i'm not even that old!! i hate living in split generations lol

FYI i coined Coaster Dorks ash said coaster nerds... but mine has a better ring to it... and on teddy bear at the end of the night he purposefully sent us on our 2nd trip it was the 3rd one it went too far so he said too late and smiled evily. i loved it!!

LOL well theres this one guy at Beast and he's always entertaining and leaves me and Kat cracking up with his wit and wisdom. and the entire time we're in the station, I don't hear him repeat anything! His ghost train spiels are the best

I mean i'm torn between 1-1 and 7-1 but went with 7-1 cuz its amazing airtime that you wouldn't even believe! lol but honestly i rode 5-1... i dont get whats to great about it? if anything i feel like it throws me around more than any other seat...

So then it was dinner time. and OMG!! They have some amazing food! Altho i was a little wary of having to paint brush on my butter for the sweetcorn, it was thee best sweet corn i've eaten all summer! a-mazing! SO we all kinda relaxed and chilled and ate and it was good. After we all decided to jump on the carousel Erin's got some great video of us all screwing around on there and i know theres pics of me and ashley floating around, but i dont have any thank goodness but i love that it still has the music instruments and its amazing! me kevin, ashley, kyle, and justin decided to go play some skeeball. and it was great! We saw the cutest little cheating kid ever!! We all pretty much combined our tickets, well except for kevin who kicked our butts. and we eneded up with girly little barrettes for me and ash and deputy sheriff badges for the 3 boys. We then went over to the arcade next to the skeeball. And the hick in me decided the shooting game would be fun. Well we made a little discovery When the camera flash goes off... so does every single one of the targets Kevin Kyle and ashley tryin their hand some trying more than others see... everything lights up!! I so kicked everyones butts on this game too ash being a bad a$$ check these guns LOL THen it was more time for teddy bear and a POV (yes Dave i did it from row 2) and kyle has a backwards pov of all of us in the train that he'll hopefully add here Then it was another lap on Tornado in the 2nd last seat. holy ejector air! and then another lap on the scooters... and then... *sigh* the darned Tilt-a-Hurl Justin, Kevin, and Kyle epically failing at spinning Ok so hilarity warning ensues... me and ash were smart enough to not ride with the boys after the whole tip top incident... cuz we both dont like spinning, but we got bored and wanted to make it spin and just couldn't. well... then when we decided we didnt really want to spin anyways, thats when we went spinning like crazy!!! we couldn't stop. and here is my POV of it. I need to get Ashley to upload hers too Ashers, Stalker, and Giga with their love Tornado While we were recouping from Tilt-a-Whirl, we got another group on the scooters Ok, so at this point, me and Ash couldn't really handle much more of anything. so we opted for the ferris wheel. *giggles* me and ash had great convos on that ride... for how freakin long it was. the ride op would not let us get off. ugh. So this was enough spinning. We met Ted and his friends jared and tim while we were on the ride, so the 5 of us plus kyle and justin decided we should check out the putt putt. So survivor putt putt sounded like a good idea... until we got to the lighthouse of death, aka the 3rd hole lol Thanks to ash hitting my ball into the middle of the lighthouse, i had to pool shot mine out. Ted using some creative putting. pretty easter eggs. lol this is what happens when you stat playing free for all putt putt cuz the course was only open for like another half hour. But honestly it was Thee most funnest time ever! (and yes i said that on purpose for emphasis) while we putt putt I noticed a certain giga taking off on teddy bear all by herself and after taking the pic of her i decided to get artsy hi jackson and kat! look! KIC on-ride photo! yeah i know i'm awesome now tornado loveliness yeah, i <3 it So we ditched putt putt and all headed to teddy bear before it closed. which was EPIC!!! first off pretty much a really long trimmed ride. lol the trim being the station brakes that we barely stopped at for our 2nd trip. then as we came in after our 2nd loop we were all like, we wanna go to tornado, and the op goes "oop too late first cars out" and we went again! it was awesome!. this is where i will say my one negative thing about the park... when they say the rides close at 9.. then they should close at 9.. not 8:55 like they did... if not sooner... *sigh* bad planning on their part but we all met up after our ride on TB and the rest of the group's 3 rides on tornado, and got a group photo. since there was no scooby van we went with the bear holding the Stricker's Grove sign and then we made it fun and crazy Then about 8 of us in 5 cars headed to steak n shake and killed some time there. it was blast!! I had so much fun that day, i can't wait to do it again! FOr as small as it was with as few rides as it had, we found plenty of ways to occupy our time, and didn't want the place to close! <3 SG

Ok, so my computer (I hope) is done recovering from its nasty nasty virus its had for a week and a half so I can get this up finally lol So anyways!! I had been to Stricker's last summer but for a company picnic, and didn't get past the shelterhouse, so I had NO idea that any of these rides existed minus the putt put, Tornado, and the carousel cuz i could hear it and see it. Had no idea that all those other things were there... I know epic fail. So first I had to stop by good ol KI so i could solidify my spot in Urgent Scare this year And i dragged Justin along with me too. Then my GPS which actually had SG as a Point of Interest had me on some culd-a-sac in Mt. healthy.... super. and the gas stations were no help, so finally got ahold of Giga and got the right address, found a great oldies station on the radio so we rocked out to Grease, got some strange looks as we're blaring oldies going downtown Mt. Healthy lol. I was an idiot and followed the directions towards Hamilton, turned around and finally made it there lol. First stop: Teddy Bear! With NO SEATBELTS!!! yay!!! 2nd row. Then the boys decided riding tip top would be a great idea I knew better... but poor Ashers... Justin was spinning it while Tom, and Kle POV'ed her lol Me and Giga sticking to the ground I think these are our "heck no" faces Ok, not let me pause here and just say... when I got here... I really didn't think i'd stick around too long as i DO NOT do spinny rides... at all... used to love them, but got sick after riding the swings at the fair one year, and just haven't been able to bring myself to do them again. So I was a little leary, but i saw the scooters while in line for Tornado, and since i never got to ride them at KI i was totally looking forward to them!! So after getting a quick lesson in wtf i was doing on them, it was time to get snappin... er going O:) and man i managed to get 2 snaps on those puppies! and Kevin and Kyle like to make fun of me cuz the second I got off them, i was totally ready to do it again!! New all time favorite flat! my first time on the scooters the rest of the group on the scooters next up the 1/2 mile train ride! the peeps behind us the ones in front Me and Kat in the awesomest row It doesn't say a darned thing about heads!!! haha the park from waaaayyy.. out by the creek I'm turning into kat with the videos lol by this time it was getting close to dinner... and me in my geniousness told ppl i'd ride that stupid electric rainbow ride and i would do it right before dinner, so that i had an hour to recoup... ugh. lol ok so it wasn't HORRIBLE but at the same time, the ride op made sure to crank it up so we were pretty much at 90 degrees instead of halfway up like he had been going. And this was totally like the Delirium moment and i want to apologize to kevin and justin if i made their hands hurt >.< but it wasn't horrible... but i dont feel the need to ride it ever again lol I guess I'll continue this in the next post

*sigh* the UK is not near as bad as the rest of europe... they also have dentists.... besides I don't know what their issue is, temps don't get nearly as high as they do around ohio in the summer. stoopid ppl.... Stalker, who spent quite a few months living in the UK to know the stereotypes there...

This year will be my first year working Haunt and i'll be in US Really looking forward to it. Also looking forward to going through said nameless attraction on the night that I requested off to go with my out-of-area family. If you are working the Haunt and have requested the night off. You can not come to the park and go thought the mazes. They look at it as if you can come to the park then you can work. OMG... please... for someone who's supposedly woked "every" Haunt, you should darn well know that you will see other actors in the park. It happens all the time! and yes, as Kat stated, If you CALL OFF SICK then no your butt better not show up, but if you've requested it specifically off, then yeah, as long as its not a habit and its the only day or 2 you'll be missing. Can I really ask you to not be so narcissistic to the newcomers working... that'd be super. I'd like to see them return... No. you are not given a "night or 2" to go through. But there are 2 days during rehersals where the attractions are split into 2 groups. day 1 group a gets their costumes and make up done, and group b goes through group a's attractions, multiple times, so taht they get an idea of what scares work and what don't and so they know what its like with ppl, and to also make sure the costumes and makeup work for said attraction/room/scareactor. Day 2 the groups switch and group b gets makeup and group a goes through. Its actually quite nice... the first 10 times >.< lol BE NICE TO MY RACHEL!! *punches you yet again* I <3 my Giga! Yes. Terpy, in your heart you knew he would LOL You never let me down! But I would imagine they will announce the new things towards the end of the month after interviews are over and they start advertising Haunt hardcore. Thats when ppl will at least know the new name of the attraction. But I will warn you those working there it will stink for you cuz you'l get the spiel i did last year from dane, that we are not allowed to talk about our attractions until after oepning weekend. There still has to be SOME surprise to it. But once others start talking about it in TR's and whatnot then its free roam. Trust me... it KILLED me (chuckles) last year not being able to mention ANYTHING about US.
