  1. alright, i agree you are right about el toro being an out and back, however it is not your typical out and back, or at least in my eyes, when i think out and back i think straight out straight back in a line, shape wise... but determining that El Toro is an out and back doesnt change my impression on me liking the voyage better, so i don't understand the big deal
  2. Alright, okay so your saying that you can describe every rollercoaster as an out and back then
  3. well when i think of out and back i think like hill and straight out in a line with a bunch of hills(the voyage/magnum/Diamondback/etc)..i dont think i would consider El Toro to be an out and back..but i guess it just depends who you are asking
  4. I have ridden both, and i think that Voyager is better because it seems that El Toro is shorter...plus I am a huge fan of the out-and-back
  5. I am the Grrreeeeen Goblin!!!
  6. As far as I know Phantom Theater will never come back. If youve been to fearfest/Halloween Haunt, the characters are in very bad shape. Yah, I am sure most of the parts are scattered in different storage barns, it would be almost impossible at this point to bring it back
  7. did anyone catch that the "keep hands arms legs inside thecar at all times" sign is still facing backwards, i wonder if they'll change that before opening day
  8. What ever happened to the Season Pass Sneak Preview days, that the park used to have a few years ago. I know it could have been just a paramount thing. But there used to be a few weeks before the park opened to the public that you could get your season pass processed and then you could go in the park, season pass holders only. Those days made it nice because the season passholders that live farther away could get there pass early, and visit the park without waiting in that huge pass processing line.
  9. ill have to start a countdown soon lol

  10. yah..you doing it next year?

  11. I miss the name of Beastie, they should bring back the name now that CF has taken over
  12. I miss the flying Eagles and Keel Boat Canal
  13. Ya that is what I heard too, which is crazy. It'll be interesting to see how it'll play out for next year. I just don't think they would be able to pull it off like Knotts does. They didn't get many people at the park for the bare bones nights, plus each person would have to pay next year.
  14. Would anyone know what the song at the begining of the wall of the monsters is? It goes like "whats that coming over the hill is it a monster"
  15. If the times haven't been changed from the map then shows at Dead Awakening are at 830,930,1130 and 1230. Torture Chamber is at 8,9,10 and 12.
  16. ive only riden it once after it has been reopened, and it was the day it reopened, i remember the brakes not being used and the second half of the ride a little faster, too
  17. man, im glad i went for Halloweekends in September, but even then on Saturday I thought it was busy, but it wasn't nearly as busy as your trip, that i am sure
  18. Haunt Guy, isn't Kings Island going toward a more mature type thing as Knotts Berry Farm, rather than Cedar Point. Hence the name Halloween Haunt and not Halloweekends. But anyway I have been to both Cedar Point and Kings Islands Halloween Events and I think that Kings Island's is always better in the Halloween aspect, at least they win me over with quantity.Even when KI was runned by Paramount it seemed as if they changed up there haunted houses every so often. Cedar Point's Haunted Houses have been the same name for 3 years now, they have only added a few Fear Zones with Carnevil and Fearfaire.
  19. Does anyone know if you can take out the building and keep the ride there. Probably not physically posible but i think it would improve the ride. Since the ride is inside most people expect theming. I like the ride in general, but since its inside and i also expect theming, and it is a huge letdown because the ride is set to the theme. A western theme does sound pretty neat, I know someone mentioned it above. They could transform it and change it into a maverick like atmosphere. But that is only if they can take out the building. I don't know it would just seem dull to have a topspin ride in an empty building.
  20. I think if they can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen, I have seen some kids act in mature ways and some act in immature ways, you just have to know your kid , and how they'll react, if they don't like it don't come back like people said before. Hire a babysitter. Kings Island is opened from 10-7 on Saturdays and all day Sunday for younger kids.
  21. haha im the madman that runs around with the biohazzard, you could have come and see what was inside, i dont bite, i just scream really loud
