  1. Hopefully when it is replaced, they will keep something Scooby Doo or something associated with HB.
  2. What does Pledge cleaner taste like? Is that a good thing or a bad thing? lol
  3. In South Bend we have ALOT of places that serve Coke, but also serve Dr Pepper. There are also SOME places that serve Coke but serve Mr Pibb which I know is a Coke product. But on store shelves Dr Pepper is put with the Pepsi products, NOT 7-up. In pop vending machines Dr Pepper is found in Pepsi machines, NOT 7-up which leads many people to believe its a Pepsi product.

  5. I've got a Dr. Pepper can in front of me as I write this. It reads" Manufactured by independent bottlers under the authority of Dr. Pepper Company". So Dr. Pepper is made by Dr. Pepper and bottled by Pepsi or whoever. That explains why some places that serve Coke Products also serve Dr. Pepper.
  6. Thats what I'm seeing on the internet. I think Mt Olympus has like 8 or 9 of them, and they look fun.
  7. Once again thanks for the pictures. Does anyone else have any pictures of the Dells?
  8. Alot of great pictures, Thanks! Do you have any links like that for the waterslides either at Mt Olympus or Noah's Ark?
  9. Thanks for the info. I have NEVER been to Wisconsin at all. I've been trying to check it out via the internet. I was not aware of alot of the things you mentioned. So again, Thanks.
  10. I am taking my family to Wisconsin Dells this summer. I have never been there. How is it? Any recommendations to motels and certain waterparks? As of right now I'm looking at Mayflower Motel, and as for water parks I'm looking at Mt Olympus and Noah's Ark.
  11. does anyone really know 100 % that KI doesn't have anything new for 2008?
  12. Great article. That story is so sad. I noticed in the article they say that the current ride inspection program doesn't have enough inspectors. They need to get more. Every ride at every amusement park can be dangerous in some way if something malfunctions. To be cautious to the patrons, to make sure these rides are inspected carefully and thoroughly is a must. They need to get however many inspectors to make sure these rides are safe!
  13. Its because KI is more of a family park. KI's attendance is made up of children and adults of ALL ages.
  14. Fred Flintstone would be another great character to bring back.
  15. What years were these? Maybe before Cedar, and before Paramount? H-B days????
  16. Thats fine and dandy. My point is that park is more for coaster freaks. It is not as much of a family park as KI. As for the lines. We were at KI for 2 days last year. The fist day was very gloomy and yes the lines were short, it was great. The 2nd day was sunny. The park was so crowded and the lines were so long. I waited in line for the copter thing in Nick Universe with my daughter for over an hour. All the lines were terrible, even close to closing time.
  17. OK, Michigan's Adventure! Like I've said I've NEVER been there. I've also never been to GREAT Adventure, and by looking that up online It does look like a Great park with alot more rides than the one in Gurnee, Illinois. I didn't see their waterpark though. But for now I can't see myself taking my family all the way to Jersey. Anything you got closer?
  18. yeah, if you are a huge fan of coasters. I've been to CP quite a few times, and had nowhere the time I had a KI. I know they now own KI, but they didn't make KI. KI has always been an awesome park, with and without the flagship. "MOST" people may see it that way , but by far "NOT ALL"
  19. Where's this at? Cedar Point lol, yeah, right.
  20. We have 2 waterparks nearby South Bend. They are Splash Down Dunes near Michigan City where Enchanted Forest use to be. They are getting 5 new rides, 1 per year starting next year, which is an ok waterpark, but we've been there 6 times in 2 years. Another one is Deep River waterpark near Valpo. That ones ok too. I am taking my family to Michigans Great adventure in August since we've never been there and its only 2 hous away. It don't look like anything spectacular, but its not far. I went on line again to Holiday world, and again it doesn't look any better than the ones I've been to. I also looked up SFKK which isn't very impressive. Plus considering at the time I was getting ready to take my kids to KI (leaving the hotel room) On June 21, 2007 the news came on about the girl that was hurt at SFKK. I won't take my family there. Also KI is a big trip for our family, and they have both awesome amusement rides, and an awesome waterpark. My boys are amused with the surf simulator. Overall is there a park better within reasonable distance?
  21. Most of my family don't like the coasters. Anything more frightening than Italian Job, my kids won't ride. They range in age from 10 - 19. They are more fans of flat rides, water rides, and waterparks. My other half loves coaster. I like a little bit of everything.
  22. No, I seen it on the internet and it doesn't look very entertaining. Any more?
  23. I'm from South Bend, IN. Let me change that to waterparks within a reasonable distance. I'm not going to Florida or California to go to a waterpark. Lets narrow it down to Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. Are there any better waterparks in this part of the country?
  24. Since when is CP good for family? The last I checked it was more a park for coaster riders. Thats why my family would rather go to KI. KI is more of a family park, with rides for everyone of all ages. We have no desire to go to CP
