  1. I died on that ride so I can't recommend it. (joke)
  2. What could it possibly be? They couldn't have anything huge due to the large crowd, so what go to KI and get a free cinnabon or maybe a t-shirt? cmon, the teases are more than likely over the top.
  3. They have a confirmed agreement for an "impromptu" Hannah Montana concert. (joke)
  4. I would say to try Flight Deck as was stated it is a great step up coaster and there will be no line relative to the other coasters. Next try Back Lot Stunt Coaster, if you like this you will LOVE Flight of Fear, and again the line will be shorter by comparison.
  5. I couldn't agree more. This ride is in desperate need of something, anything. CF should make the decision: Theme, or No Theme. Pretty simple.
  6. "Because most rides that have upcharges would then have six to eight hour lines" "Why should ALL guests have to pay extra so just a few can engage in such extreme thrills? " I'm confused, do alot of people want to ride it or not? Why is it ok that I have to subsidize people engaging in the extreme thrill of Drop Tower, or a 78 MPH wooden coaster? Why not charge for everything individually? I would have to say that referring to trampolines and go-karts as "extreme thrills" is a little overboard.

    The Crypt

After walking through the jungle theme into the crypt themed queue it is only natural to look around once you take your seat and observe how it all comes together at the start of the ride. This ride's theme is half-assed and it gives a very poor impression of Cedar Fairs effort and attention to detail. Very little investment could provide a huge boost to the overall entertainment this ride could offer. it is an "amusement" park afterall.
  8. Cincinnati will NEVER host a Super Bowl.
  9. upcharges suck. why not charge everyone an extra buck? sending my kids over from the pool to ride rides with a bracelet is easy as opposed to the real pain of making sure they have enough nickels to jump on a trampoline.

    The Crypt

"Not to mention, tearing down a building isn`t exactly cheap" They need to do something, how expensive is turning on the water, flashing a couple lights and funnin' up the place in general?
  11. Bottom line ACE isn't in the coaster operating business they are in the coaster riding business.
  12. Kings Valley Splashdown
  13. I honestly think its probably a 50/50 chance the the contest rules are there for legal reasons and the actual contest is probably very loosely administered, and if its not whoopitty doo.

    The Crypt

Bring it outdoors and into Rivertown..."all new for 2009 The Angry Beaver!" (sorry angrybeaver)
  15. think i'll just jam on the submit button and see what happens.
  16. I haven't witnessed a sale yet this year and i've taken the fam to KI 4 times so far this year...small sample I know. We stop everytime to check out our mugs. I guess at 200 nickels a pop they don't have to sell many to make it profitable.
  17. guess i'll register again under my wifes name and addy.
  18. "I should have bought that ride photo!!!!!!! " Whoa people buy those?
  19. hmmm, I skimmed that but didnt see it. As I was posting my question a dozen or so confirmation emails flooded my inbox they all had seperate confirmation numbers. All I did was fill the form out oncec and repeatedly hit send. It seems to me I have entered more than once
  20. "A list of players scheduled to attend will be announced at a later date" um...how much later?
  21. I can't seem to find out if entering more than once increases your chances. Anybody have a clue on that?
  22. whats the point of touting speed if you are going to kill it. Let them run. whats next "New for 09!! TTD trimmed to a 45 MPH descent." yay.
  23. darn. How many extra nickels would I have to bring for food that is....well...good?
  24. Coney's wheel is too small, fast, but too small. A nice tall wheel is a natural fit for Coney Mall considering thats where the flat rides are prevalent. Every park should have a wheel, especially one focusing on nostalgia and the glory days.
