I've Never understood you. . .
-
It wouldn't llok very cool, because not only is it a good 150 yards from the midway but it's facing The Beast.
-
Hmm. I find Flight Deck to be a good starter or "Step-Up" coaster from AE and Racer, to Rides like Flight of Fear and The Beast. I would suggest Flight of Fear because The Beast has been running quite rough lately. Also, Firehawk delivers a ride experience that no other coaster at Kings Island can Deliver.

GREAT AMERICA (CA): What now?
Coasterkidman replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
But we're still a laughing stock! Ahh, I remember watching Bungle Vidoes. God they were hilarious. -
I found the Crypt a very awesome ride. Granted I never Rode TR:TR, but I found the Crypt to be very entertaining and very thrilling. I especially like it when They hold you upside down for a couple of seconds, then flip you 3 times in 2 seconds.

I wouldn't be able to.
-
I think that's out of the question.

So B&M's can hurt, and TOGO's are unriliable. I smell no Stand Ups for KI.
-
I LOVE the Crypt, even without all the effects. Just the entire ride program makes it extremely thrilling.

Brit Thrill Seekers Fancy The Point
Coasterkidman replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Even the Brits have made the Trek to CP. Hot darn I'm pumped. -
Wild Thing Wins it for me. Yea!

That's what I meant. Even 2 of 3 years ago, many parks had ACE-exclusive events. Even Kings Island had Beast Bash. Now most parks just lump all of the coaster enthusiasts events together, so you're just as well off joining GOCC for $20 as you would joining ACE for $50 or $60 bucks... whatever it is now. You're absolutely right. ACE and CF are not enemies. They need each other. Unfortunately it seems as though ACE doesn't realize how much more they need CF than CF needs them. O.K. sorry Boddah, misinterpretation. (sp?)

Food Prices? Camden Park Hears You!
Coasterkidman replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Way to go Camden! -
First Ride Ever: Some ride in Hanna Barbera Land in 1999. First Ride of the day: Drop Tower (No better way to wake up then you're heart pounding out of you're chest and peeing you're pants!)
-
Not to mention that if the building were to be torn down, the actual ride would be facing The Beast. . .
-
Ohh, I REALLY like that one.

What about Coastermania? And wasn't there an event @ KI last year? What about Wild at Wonderland? How about Coaster Craze at Valleyfair? Coaster Mayhem at WOF? Carolina Coaster Classic? How about ACE Holloween Haunt at KBF? Or the 3rd Annual Fall Thrillfest @ KD? That's 8 events at Cedar Fair Parks in 2 years. Bummer, ain't it.

How about this, 2008 is SoB's last year, and it is removed for 2009. And the new ride's name is: "Son of Beast's Revenge".

lol O.K. Interp. I've gathered enough information that I need. Mods, Close it down!

Does anyone know the Average Wait time for TTD during Exlusive Ride Nights and/or the Average wait for rides during Early Ride Time?
-
No Iron Stallion. Something about it is just to, bland. I still think they might stick witht the name Maverick. . .
-
Thank You Interp! And, I just found out here that the night that I'm Going, June 17, has Late Night Ride time for Top Thrill Dragster, which means i will have exlusive Ride time on Raptor, Maverick, Millennium Force, and Top Thrill Dragster!!!!!!!!! O.K., NOW I'm PSYCED!

My Father is into having the best possible experience, so when I said it's a lot cheaper to say in a hotel off site, he says, "No. I want expensive. I want to have a veiw. Wake up and smell lake Erie and see the skyline of CP." I couldn't argue. Me Brother is about 50 inches tall. He his sorta afraid of coasters. Just this year was the first time he rode The Racer at Kings Island, he loves it, and Flight Deck. He want's to ride Firehawk but can't because of lines. So I have been into trying to get hime into coasters, because if there was a time and place for it I figured it should be 9 years old and Cedar Point. And don't worry, I can really crank out the thanks when I need to.
