  1. Yeah, it is a big investment. But, my cousin just got a house on this huge farm with tons of forest area (A little over 10 Acres overall) and I am trying to convince him to open up a haunted trail. He already has tractors to pull hayrides (He even made one for his son's birthday party) so it would just be paying for actors (which me and my friends would gladly do for free) and some haunted scenery. Really it would probably only be a few thousand dollar investment. Charging $15 a person with 2000 people over the few week haunt season would equal around $30,000. Minus the scenery he would still make $20,000 which sounds pretty good to me.
  2. I am confused... yet I am not a enemy. However I am slightly amazed. Does this put me at the innocent bystander level?
  3. However we were not speaking of Urgent Scare... odd. G-Force who just HAD too.... and who also just HAD too live the extravagent life of Terpy...
  4. lol, this made me sorry that I didn't attempt my ride streak that day. Hopefully I can go next sunday though. Great PTR!
  5. I don't know but I think we could set one! Maybe a mini-unofficial KIC Day. We could all go next Sunday and anybody who wants to break the record (for whatever ride we are doing) can come!
  6. Well, as odd as it sounds, comfort foods are doing good right now, or at least Cramer says so. So, wouldn't other luxuries/recreations be doing good now also?
  7. Can we get any picures if possible?
  8. Hmm... maybe next year we can have an official KIC Olympics. We all have to keep track of ride counts throughout the year and then we have a "Final Ceremony" worth 50 rides if you are the first one to ride every ride in the park that day.
  9. I am starting to think about a reschedule. None of my friends can go that day that have gold passes, and I don't want to invite non-gold pass members because that would suck paying $30 for one ride all day long. So I will go anyday I have someone to go with. If I do find someone to go with I will go this Sunday, but it is starting to look doubtful.
  10. Same thing happened to me in school a few days ago. It was between a student and a teacher so I had to really restrain my self from saying something. He said that they were renaming Delirium to be Delirious. And then something about FoF launching you out 100.6 mph in 3 seconds.
  11. I asked my question! I asked about any gold pass benefits (speed lanes) for DB of if there was going to be a Gold Pass preview day.
  12. ^Huh, 74 degrees must just be steeper than I thought it was!
  13. Did anybody else see a crane going up on the left side of storage area on the web cam?
  14. Thanks for the support guys! Expect a PTR maybe with some before and after pictures lol. If anybody is going that day I will be the one wearing the plain white t shirt covered with Sharpie tallies for each ride. Oh and do be offended if I have to sprint past you.
  15. Yeah, I realize if will be difficult this year but I still want to at least try. I am going to keep my date as this Sunday. With very low time inbetween rides, eating will be impossible too! Can you guys over at the Trailer Tower squirt me some Mountain Due and throw me some White Castles every now and then? Well, I guess I will be going on Sunday, it's worth a try!
  16. Yeah, that's the way I meant for it to sound. Sorry if I worded that awkwardly. I completly forgot about no Haunt on Sunday! How is the park during the day on Saturdays. I might have to postpone my event to the following week. But, I'll do the math and see if 9 hours is doable or not. EDIT: Did the math. It is possible if the the ride duration including restraints ect. takes about 3.5 minutes (Over-estimating a little) I will have 1.19 minutes to get on the next train. More of a challenge, but certainly do-able.
  17. The current record for most times on The Racer on a single day is 113, set by one of my classmates after Don Helbig's legendary 112 streak in the 80's. I want to break that record. I figured out I can have about 3 minutes to wait in line between rides. With Haunt this will be nearly impossible but during the day it should be rather empty on a Sunday. So I will be continously riding from 11 AM to 11 PM! This is all because of my friendly rivalry with my classmate and the fact that I don't want to wait all off season to do so. So ,is The Racer usually open during the day?
  18. Pretty close to verticle, 74 degrees. I think they over dramatize it a little bit in the renderings.

Great PTR! How long was the FoF and Firehawk wait?

Ok thanks! I was just making sure because I didn't want to be dropped off with my friends and discover we have to do arts and crafts for 8 hours!

I have a few questions. On Sunday is it just Howl-O-Fest or are there rides open too. If so, how many and what rides are open? Just asking because I am suffering from major KI withdrawl and I need to fill up. Also, how busy is it on a October Sunday?
  22. Ok, just checking. Anyways I wonder how they turned the scarezones into mazes.
  23. Huh, no more scarezones? Now they are turned into outdoor mazes. Also, is it just me or is Tombstone Terror-tory new this week?
  24. Yeah, some classic flat rides would be nice. Get a Zipper and a Ferris Wheel and I'd be happy. But my all time favorite thought of a ride is a Vekoma Pandora's Box: http://www.vekoma.com/index.php?option=com...5&Itemid=30
  25. It was on the other side where I saw it, where the two old supports were. However I am still not sure if my eyes weren't decieving me.
