Oh, I'm by Dayton.
-
What market (city) are you in?? Also, I've seen the D-back discount ticket displays at Meijer in Indy as well! It was actually a TV commercial.
-
Just saw a KI commercial featuring the DB animation! It featured words running on KI roller coaster's tracks. The words were about park opening, sales, and I think one might of been about Diamondback but I'm not sure.

^Yep, that's the game. I've also found it is rather addicting! I will win one of these days!
-
The stacker game, located outside of most of the arcade entrances.

The machine, as I figured out through a little research, is set to only allow winners out of a selected number of plays. There is dial which is even noted at the various places where you can buy the machine, that gives different ratios for winners per players. If the amound of players have not yet been reached, it will skip over to the nearest block if ever stopped on the correct spot. They might get out of the "rigged" title since there is a layer below the major prize line which is not fixed and offers players to take the small prize or go on, most go on.

Last summer I found myself quickly addicted to the fixed game of Stacker at the arcade entrances. I bet I spent a good $20-$30 on it last season (which is amazing considering I'm a person who absolutely despises spending money!)

Just went to KI today for pass processing! DB looks amazing testing! Many of the rides were also testing today as well. -
I'm number 131. Here's hoping I don't get knocked down 61 spots in the next 12 days! Hey! I'm just two up above you (currently #130)! Hopefully I'll see you opening day!

Wow! Amazing PTR! I've never been to Alaska, but now you are making me want to! The scenery looks amazing and the first picture in your last post is just amazing! I'm also amazed that you guys got to see so much of the bears, they seem pretty cool!

^^Actually I am a bit lol. You see I have a track meet opening day of KI. But, as long as I am not good enough, I won't go on the meet that week since it's and inventaional.

Just had another dream, Kings Island was located in the middle of a running track. I was at track practice and had to miss the first riders' tour of Diamondback before the rides due to my coach making me run. Then, I told him I had to go but it would only be about three minutes because that's how long the ride took. I rode Diamondback and it was a huge let down, but I was in denial because I bid $111.11 for the first riders so I kept saying "It would have been better it's just that my eyes were closed." then I woke up.

KICentral Members are Invited!
G-Force replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Hmm... I've never tried any water sports like that but maybe I should try this summer! One question about the event though, are guests of the KIC member who aren't members also allowed to come? -
Great interview Ryan! I'm intrested in the new Rivertown he's been talking about. I can't wait to see it come opening day!
-
It was a good ride, just getting a little rusty. I'm sure it would have been great back in it's day but it's pretty short with just a lift, drop, a loop, and a helix.

Literally just got back from Busch Gardens Africa in Tampa, Florida and we had a great time! We got to the park at opening time (9:00 AM) and decided to get the Quick Queue cards, these have to be the best things I have ever seen! But more on that later. So, we get into the park and get a quick walk-on onto Gwazi Lion Side. Great woody, a bit rough, but still a great coaster. Next we made our way to Sheikra, they said it was temporarily shut down for a few short moments. After about 30 minutes of no activity (3 people stuck on ride), we decided to leave. We walked around a bit and decided to check out Sky Ride where we went to Egypt. There me and my mom rode Kumba (no wait), but my father was too scared of rollercoasters to ride. Kumba was a great ride with a lot of smoothness and quite a few great inversions. After this we went to Timbukto (sp?) where we rode Scorpion. This is one of the weirdest rides I have ever been on. It is like a kiddy coaster with a loop, and the brakes at the end were horribly rough. We ate at Crown Colony's First floor, food was great and we got to sit out and look onto the safari. We decided we'd try something a little less rough after lunch so we went for Rhino Rally. There was a 40 minute wait at least but, using my handy Quick Queue card we had a walk-on! Rhino Rally was a pretty nice ride. Next we went to Pirates 4D which was a great ride but IMO not as good as Spongebob 4D. Then we went on the log flume, another 30 minute wait but again our cards gave us a walk-on. We went on Kumba again, my dad decided to join me this time and he loved it! Then we all went on Montu, a great smooth inverted B&M with lots of inversions. We decided to see if Sheikra was open yet and it was testing so we waited out front. About 20 minutes later there was a line behind us farther than the eye could see. The ride opened and we got a walk-on. We loved it so much that we went on it again (50 minute wait) except our cards gave us what? Another walk-on! We went on Kumba one more time and checked out the Gorrilla and Bat/Snake exhibits. Then we got ice cream and I took one last ride on Gwazi Tiger and we ended our day! Ratings: (out of 5 *s) Rides: Sheikra- ***** Scorpion- ** Kumba- ***** Gwazi: Lion- **** Gwazi: Tiger- *** Montu- ***** Average- **** Food: Crown Colony- ***** Morocan Delights- *** Average- **** Other: Cleanliness- ***** Service- **** Average- ****1/2 Animals: Gorillas- ***** Bats/Snakes- ***** Walk-Bys- ***** Average- ***** Overall: ****1/2

Coming Soon! KICentral Monthly E-Mail Newsletter!
G-Force replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
Then maybe we could have a vote for the best Terpyism of the month at the end of every month and the winner gets into the newsletter! -
Festhaus it pretty close to International Street, I bet they could change the name and extend International Street a bit so that it can become some sort of international themed restraunt, since after all it does have both Italian and Chinese food there! Inside they could hang a big ring of different country's flags from the ceiling and kind of play off that idea since the whole fitting in with Oktoberfest is not working out to well!

Cool, can't wait for the newsletters to start coming! By the way, Smurfy is an excellent writer (I loved reading Smurfy's Tale of Survival!) I bet he could write some sort of monthly story section! Oh, and Terpy's Quote is an awesome idea! -
I think a S&S Power Sky Swatter would fit in perfectly there!

And more FYI (that I have mentioned before, but it got deleted thanks to the crash) is that Marty's Party is the show that Marty Putz has been contracted to write, direct, and star in on Cartoon Network... another sign?
