Sometimes basket balls cause minor issues. people may be dribbling in line or when thry are walking and it rolls in front of you. Last month while in line for The Beast, a kid in the kiddie corral stood on his tip-toes and dropped a basketball in the track while a train was pulling in. the ride ops hit the e-brake and one person went to grab it but they let it roll through the tracks. people on the train were like having panic attacks and freaking out. idk why though

on may 30th they were on because i saw them through the heavy storms that night

i remember the lightining and rain. iheard the sirens too. i was huddled in the first aid room because the security guards told us to go there. i was wearing a red shirt and blue Kings Island hat

Same here

Yeah the landscapers did that last year too. The clock and floral date aren't planted until May.

You're right about that for sure. The lap bar felt very snug to me on Diamondback and I had my arms up the entire ride. There really is no need for a seatbelt

OMG when did you go on it?! it was squeaking up a storm when i was there around 2ish it was unbearable almost!. And you obviously didn't get over to see poor Top Gun.... if any ride were EVER in need of some tender lovin care.... We rode it at about 3 and it was running beautifully quiet, for an Arrow. The wheels did squeal over the fresh paint, but it wasn't shaking and rattling and sounding like the whole structure was about to collapse like it used to. You're right about the fresh paint, but i believe they also put new wheels on because i noticed they were more white (new wheel color) along the edges and the rims were brighter silver with fresh blue grease

My friend did that to me too last year but he said he could wait for me until i got off but i wouldn't ask my GF to wait for me to ride. You could either ride rides that she likes or else tell her good things about roller coasters if that helps at all

I was the kid sitting behind you on the red racer yesterday morning I was wearing a red sweatshirt jacket for thefirst part of the morning then a brown t-shirt and then for the rest of the day i had my Diamondback first rider tee on. Also a dark blue KI hat like the employees wear

BUSCH PARKS: BLACKSTONE, now what?
Racer1972 replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
no Dollywood is a pretty fun park i have to agree with you i am just more of a thrill seeker. Not trying to offend anyone i am just stating my opinion. You are also right about me realizing that there are more than just thrill rides. But i am only 15 and i will get used to it. -

They're not really all that great but they're ok. I would probably last about an hour and a half and then get bored. But thats just me. Not trying to make you feel bad tubaman! -

I knew Busch Parks wouldn't last very long. I could see them being put up for sale. I wonder who will bid? -
This may not sound like alot but i got on Vortex 27 times and The Beast like 39 times.

My friend Spencer claims that when he rode it when he was young, he said that there were three seats in one row. There are two to a row currently and i belive AE has had the same trains since it opened in '91

My trip to KI yesterday was all out fun. When we got there in the morning it was kinda crowded. we went to flight deck first because it is usually a walk on and Son of Beast's line stretched all the way to the high security area tunnel. but that's usual that time of day. we then rode the red racer and beat the blue racer by a few feet. strange the two were actually racing again. the last time i saw them race was in April 2008. Anyways, we rode The Vortex, then Firehawk, and whitewater canyon. in the evening around 5 we rode Son of Beast which had a small line. The mystery construction looked good. there are more supports up and like 40 feet away from Firehawk i spotted a crane and very many pieces of track just like the ones in the swan lake area. The rest of the day we rode some other rides and then rode The Beast around 9:35 when it was dark out. then we all watched the fireworks and went home. It was a pretty good day.
