My most favorite coaster experience is riding in the front seat alone on The Beast at night around midnight during the Haunt. The cool crisp air made it so much more intense!
I hated the old lapbar. I felt like I couldnt move much at all especially being a litte kid and small. The new ones are pretty comfy and like SoB7 said, more spacious.
I call them the by the new names because I work at the park and I kinda have to. Even if I didn't work at the park I still think I would call them by the new ones.
I need zipper pockets so bad! I have to hold my pockets on like every ride its annoying cus I feel like everything will fall out even though there are buttons.
^You didn't sound self centered. I would say the same thing. I think the "Good Luck" made me sound a little smart aleckish.
Will you raise your bid if you get pumped out?
I was on the Flight Deck crew this post season and yes FD did close early on Saturdays (I think it was around 6 or 7) and did not open at all on Fridays during the Haunt. Club Blood's line would reach pretty far down the FD queue. I hated telling families with children that it was closed. It is one of the few rides with small lines and great for families. I wish there was some way to work around the Club Blood's line.
Absolutely amazing. I would have never thought this much money would be raised. I am so happy for A Kid Again that 100% will be given to them. Amazing everybody, especially in this time, I'm speechless.
^Yeah for summer reason that sticks out. I have only had one night ride, waited 3 hours for it. I remember it being amazing though! I have never been on TTD though. Might change this summer!
The Beast is the most amazing of them all from what I have experienced. For some reason Kingda Ka come to mind. The picture for the launch is really fun to watch at night because it is like a strobe light and the way it catches the train is pretty cool. I also love Son of Beast on a nice cool night during the Haunt real late when the park is empty. Fun to see the whole park filled with fog.
You think in that top left corner where the concrete extends up to the building might be some kind of snack bar like they have in Nitro, El Toro's queues?
Does anyone know what those white things are outside of the DB entrance. There's like 4 in the middle of the path and then a couple more to the right of them.
When I would go to break and clock out next to that sign I would try to set it to the right time. But in order to do that employees have to enter through the gate and employees only.
If you are a local I would say go for it on opening day. However since you are so far away I think making a two day trip the next weekend would be a little bit more enjoyable.
