I only worked the post season so I didn't get to experience too much. I don't think I ever noticed a guest closing or opening switchbacks them self but I think I would rather do it myself. It's not the guests job to maintain the ride area, it is the ride associates so I guess I would just prefer the guest to try and keep the area clean and the ride associate and to the rest.

Aren't there switchbacks inside the station just like The Beast? I'm not so sure about Diamondback being too far into the midway past opening day. Have you ever seen a B&M hyper line move? Ignore the rest of the stuff in this video besides the line. It isn't mine, just found it when browsing.

^For my crew at SOB/Deck it was never a problem. But when I was a sent at Delirium on busy days I would keep asking if I should open up another switchback and they would always just give me a shrug. Lame story but just kinda proving your point.

I hope they are right because that is most likely when I will get to ride if I don't work an all day on opening day. So is this just an optional switchback that they will be able to open if needed or will it continue down and the line cross further down underneath the lift?

^I was going to say the same thing. That price includes a lot of great things. This sounds great but I doubt I will be taking part in anything like this. Money is tight right now.

S&S Swings are amazing IMO! Lightnin' and Thunder at Lake Compounce was just so much fun. I would love to hear that sound at Kings Island while strolling down the midway.

That was also Season Pass Preview night if I'm not mistaken.

I think that would bring attendance down a lot in the post season and that is just not what the park wants to do in these times. However, I could totally be wrong and the park could actually bring in more money if they force guest to pay extra admission and get more money out of that. Who knows?

My mom was searching though some boxes in the basement and stumble upon some old photos of her and my dad at Kings Island. I asked them if I could post them on here and they said sure even though they have the "wonderful" 80s hair styles and such. They thought the pictures were from around 1987 and I don't know very much about where each picture is but I will do my best. *If you can help me out and give some awesome facts and input that would be awesome! Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Universal Studios Islands of Adventure already have two coasters: One called Ice and the other Fire Yes I am aware of those names. That is why I put them down as examples. Key word in that statement was like. I think it would be cool to have two of those coasters, each with a name the contrasts the other like the examples I provided. I'm a roller coaster enthusiast, of course I know those coasters.

I'm not completely sure but I think it was Vortex. I'll have to see if my parents remember.

Maybe opening day but I don't think people are going to be standing there watching the coaster. They will all be over by The Crypt probably. But during the morning rush I bet that area will include some pushing and shoving by animals that don't know how to act like humans.

Just thought this picture looked pretty cool. You can see the new work on the sign and you can see all the dark colors around the are more clear since there is no sun on them at the moment.

Oh yeah I forgot about the purple supports. Either way both coasters look kinda....blehh. I do like the purple with the white though on that coaster. I think one of those coasters would look pretty different in that area but could be pretty fun if more than one was added. That one is about 7 million USD, so two wouldn't be too bad.

Yeah that's exactly the thing I was thinking after I posted that. I was imaging opening day and the line being absolutely horrible. Two of them right next to each other would be pretty awesome. They could have names like Fire and Ice or Lion and Tiger or something along those lines that contrast each other.

Well how about letting Intamin totally take over the park even more and put in a ZacSpin. Takes up very little room and looks like tons of fun!
