  1. LOL, if you and the other person kick your feet enough, you can get the cage on Slingshot to flip like crazy. Tom and I got that thing to do so many flips yesterday, even I felt queasy afterward. Of course you're going to think Slingshot is boring if you don't have a little fun with it.
  2. OMFG VOYAGE VOYAGE VOYAGEEE

  3. I've stayed at Breakers Express. Very, very nice hotel, and close to Cedar Point. It IS a little pricey, but you get clean, quiet rooms that are very comfortable. Plus, when you stay there, you get early entry passes and can do the 1 hour ERT!
  4. Skyflyer scares the living garbage out of me.. but that's why I ride it. Nothing compares to an adrenaline rush from something you're not quite ready for.
  5. I say Millie, DB, Maggie. Here is why. I have ALWAYS gotten air on MF's 2 hills. But if someone ranks coasters based on airtime, then how is it that they enjoy Beast, TTD, and Raptor? Millie has a gut wrenching first drop that has yet to be beaten by any coaster I've been on to date. Millie also has no trim brakes or MCBR to slow it down or ruin it. There is a reason why it's never dropped below #2 steel coaster on the planet in Amusement Today's polls since it's debut in 2000. When it broke down on ERT night last year, people were booing, cussing, and throwing trash outside the queue. I went during Halloweekends last year, and Millie's wait was posted at 3 hours. When the whole cable issue happened earlier this year, I heard several people declare that they were going to skip CoasterMania altogether if Millie wasn't going to be open. People LOVE Millennium Force, and that is not going to change. Diamondback ranks second for me because as much as I love the airtime, that grabby trim and the grabby MCBR just don't do it for me. If DB was trimless, it would be my #1 coaster, but we all know that will never happen. Magnum ranks third for me. The lap bars hurt, and the ride is very rough in some seats, especially if you're unlucky enough to get a wheel seat. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the ride and the air on the bunny hills, but a 20 year old Arrow hyper definitely has an ouch factor.
  6. In light of all the recent polls, I felt the need to make one too!
  7. I chose null vote, because I couldn't decide if the first option or the last option was more hilarious. Bring on the polls. It gives me something to do while I'm out of college for the summer.
  8. LOL, when they said it was time to go back down the Eiffel Tower, I was pouting because I was gazing at DB and watching it run. I'm glad I could help you, Rach. I know how much it sucks when you are in an elevator and claustrophobic because I am the same way. I find that if I face the wall with space in front of me, or look out the window, it helps a lot. I didn't mind getting row 3 on DB behind you guys. As much as I love rows 1 and 2, the ejector air in row 3 is out of this world. You get yanked out of your seat like you would not believe.
  9. A discussion about pain, you say? I rode Magnum XL-200 trimless in a downpour.
  10. There certainly are. You should take a voyage to this legendary park, I guarantee you will be raven about it when you come back.. hehehe
  11. STOP IT You are making me miss Raptor! I will lap that thing all day and night if you let me!
  12. Voyage, Millennium Force, and Diamondback. Head over heels in love with all three.
  13. Wow.. some "injury." Way to make a mountain out of a molehill. Occasionally I've felt faint on Invertigo, Millennium Force, Maverick, and Raptor.. it's called food and water, people.
  14. I heard someone tell their kid yesterday that Maverick goes 100 miles an hour. Lady behind me on Magnum on the brake run, points to Corkscrew: "Which one is that? Double Loop?" Guy in line for Power Tower: "You mean this isn't the line for Corkscrew?" I also heard a guy tell his friends' kids (that were sitting in Maverick's row 6 seats) laugh and tell them that the back seat of Maverick is for adults only.
  15. Last night one of the Raptor ride ops said "Enjoy your ride on the world's tallest, fastest inverted coaster........ in 1994!" The Magnum crew was going on and on about how the ride was so scary. Even little kids were laughing. When I passed the ride ops on my way out of the station, I looked at them, put my hands to my cheeks and screamed bloody murder. They got a big kick out of it. Two of the Wicked Twister ops were going on and on about how annoying the other one was. A third one chimed in and told them to shut up, but they didn't. It was too funny.
  16. I have a reusable buy 1 get 1 free coupon. 1 ticket is $10. So you'd only owe me $5. Warning: I will tell the ride ops to crank it to Mach 4, and I will flip the cage.. it's not worth it unless you get the most out of your ride experience.
  17. Monster. I will not go anywhere near that thing. Just the sight of it makes my stomach do a flip. I can't ride Scrambler or Shake Rattle and Roll either. -BUT- If you guys are ever at CP with me and you want to ride a spinnie, I can do Super Himalaya and Witches Wheel!
  18. Thanks! I try to detail my TRs so people feel like they are there. What's the point otherwise? I'm fine on giant spinning rides like maXair, Delirium, Crypt (when it was good LOL), Skyscraper, and Slingshot. The spin on those kind of rides is more like a toss or an intense flip. It's the smaller ones I have to watch out for.. that central spin can really get intense and dizzying.
  19. I am so happy that I can ride Witches Wheel with no problem. I have never done well with spinning flat "carnival" rides. So many of my friends like them, and I hate having to sit out while they have fun. But after careful experimentation, I have found that the ones that make me nauseous are the ones where the seats spin separately from the arms of the ride. Aside from Zephyr, there are no spinning rides at KI that I might be able to ride without feeling severely ill afterward. And forget pretty much every spinning ride at CP besides Super Himalaya and Witches Wheel, and maybe Wave Swinger. I'm not sure about the swings. I might give that a whirl next time I'm at KI. Just please don't ask me to ride a spinning ride twice in a row.. once is enough for my stomach.
  20. You can bring friends, but at regular admission price, or if they have a season, gold, or platinum pass. Giga, who couldn't resist
