Im pretty sure they didn't. They are not aloud to tell guests whats wrong with the ride. Most ride-op's don't even know whats wrong. If something happens, they call out mantience.

Thats why I hate waiting in SoB's queue. Everybody spits off the railing and it's just so nasty.
