So I have heard from someone who was at the announcement that it was only a box of cookies for the kids...Which leaves me very confused as to why this was a supposed announcement.

The thing is its strato"soar", not a 400 ft tall Intamin launch dinosaur.

I truly hate it has to be so late but oh well but at 11pm then never...

So after having to cancel our first show the night of awhile back, we are back and TONIGHT we are going to be having our first show. BlogTalkRadio is what we are using to have this live and it limits us to at earliest a 11pm show. We all know there are the great podcasts of In the Loop, Amusement Radio and Season Pass Podcast and others, but a couple friends and I are starting our own. We are doing this for fun and for the news. This will be no professional podcast but we would like to share our love of coasters with everyone. Congrats on getting over your fear and on Kingda Ka! Definitely a coaster warrior for sure.

After 10 years a record like one of Son of Beast isn't as important or will stand out to people say as Millennium Force, sometimes what meets the eye can be important but not 10 years later.

While obstructing views of The Great Pumpkin Coaster on that side of the area? Doubt it, though it would be neat to see giant comic strips peppered throughout PS like Universal has with Toon Lagoon at Islands. Ah I just realized that its right in front of The Great Pumpkin Coaster. I only get up to KI once a year so don't know everything well. Either way its interesting they would put anything in front of the coaster that would possibly obstruct the view.

I am going out on a limb and being creative, maybe a giant Peanuts comic strip?

If I remember correctly the current state of Twisted Twins is not a good one. I remember seeing a photo of how Mile High Falls and Twisted Twins were very run down since they were closed and sectioned off. Of course I am not saying it may never open again, but at its state now its probably not rideable.

I am 99% sure its Chang, I heard from someone that lives in the Newport area and this track is close to his house. He saw it there one day and knew it was Chang.

Along with what Terpy said, XCalibur is the best flat there! So FUN! Now as for my opinion on The Boss. I would have to say it was not fun for me as it was the roughest woodie I've ridden in my life. If it wasn't rough I definitely see a potentially great ride from The Boss. Evel is an amazing GCI too!

They are definitely strict as I saw on my night ride on The Beast I saw 2 straight trains have a kid with a wristband on and be measured and be not allowed. Although its the right thing it was fun to cheer on the ride ops as everyone in the station chanted "let him on", but I do see the reasoning behind it..

I was there and had just gotten in line for my first ever Diamondback ride when they said it would be a lengthy delay, it then opened about an hour or so later. I was in line for Beast and completely ran to Diamondback when I saw it testing, only had to wait 5 mins for my first Diamondback ride

Well, all the good comments on Skyflyer make me even more excited to ride it on the 20th! I personally don't get to Kings Island often and this is a treat so I thought I'd try it.

There are 3 Culvers in KY, just only in Lexington and Richmond. Nowhere near northern KY, sadly. I would stop at a Culvers on my way to KI if there was one. Then again I have one 3 miles from my house...
