  1. I just got back and it was amazing!!! I'll be posting a PTR soon. It is HUGE in person.
  2. Looks like Springdot Tech. has matched Adena's bid of $2,500
  3. What is the new view? my webcam is refreshing too slow for me to see it.
  4. They did! there are now five "first rider" trains full for bidding on.
  5. The lights are back on the lift hill. Could this be a sign of what is to come for this season?
  6. I've gotta say, I think that the orange seats look much cooler than the yellow would have in my opinion.
  7. A question was asked concerning the single rider line at the Blues Party and Don said they weren't sure what they were going to do with that yet. It may be a single rider line but he also said stuff about a speedy lane or something like that.
  8. NEW PICTURES OF THE TRAINS!!! Edit: Sorry, it's just I am really excited to see pictures of them.
  9. My webcam page finally started working but its only refreshing at 35 seconds. Probably because we are all watching it
  10. Oh, so thats what that thing sticking out from the maintenance shed was!! A permanent crane to lift the cars of the train!! I've been wondering what that was since they first finished the maintenance shed!! (I'm talking about what railrider posted)
  11. Really?! That's awesome! I've seen this picture before and always thought it was beautiful. The sun is right below the crest of the hill and the train is positioned evenly on the hill. It just doesn't get much better than that. Nice pic
  12. ya, I just found it there. Usually when I'm on the computer for a while doing Diamondback and roller coaster related stuff I'll just go to rcdb and hit random roller coaster just to see what ride I get. I would say rcdb is how I have acquired most of my knowledge of roller coasters.
  13. First off, welcome to the forums and that yellow thing is part of one of the trains.
  14. i caught a good glance at that earlier and I'm very certain its below the track.
  15. Haha, very funny Avatar! That made me laugh and my younger sister too!
  16. Thanks for the kind words. I'm staying hopeful. Anyone know the name of the Human Relations manager?
  17. I didn't get it. I got there and all of the positions for 15 year olds were filled. My dad talked with Don and the HR guy and they told me that I should check back in May because that's when positions open up. Even though I didn't get the job, it was still really cool being inside the park. When you turn the corner to go into Festhaus, you can look at Diamondback and see the final helix. It was awesome being able to see it up close like that. It just makes me even more excited about next Sunday!
  18. I'm leaving in 15ish minutes so that I am hopefully ahead of the bulk of the line this morning. Wish me luck and I'll post back when I find out if I got it or not. Thanks!
  19. okay, thanks a bunch! I'm so excited about my first interview!
  20. So I'm interviewing tomorrow and I was wondering. Where do you park and where do you go in and how does it work?
  21. There's a guy on there that bid $125 and his name is Don H. I wonder who that could be?
  22. Unfortunately, I'm 15 so I had to do food and beverages associate. I would've preferred to do park services and sweep. I decided to apply because I thought that the work experience there would be good for some extra cash, I get to hang out in one of my favorite places anywhere, and just having a good time.
  23. Well, I'll be going Sunday to interview for my first job (hopefully)! I hope it won't be too crowded.
  24. I don't know how to post a picture on here but what I mean is there are height extensions on the sides of the trough in the splashdown. If you look closely, you can see where they have been welded together. Also, if you look at older splashdown pictures, you can see that the track rails are above the concrete. Now they are basically of even height.
