I see the exit ramp has been topped off. I cant see what else they are doing. Sure is a bright sunny day there what are they doing under the track next to the crypt building? Is that new or did I never notice it....

Maybe someone just left the lights on. But yes it is awfully bright in there. But I haven't seen movement, im sure they are all in bed where im supposed to be...LOL

I had every intentions when I first started writing this in telling you guys you were crazy. Im sure they are not on there yet. But even though it is dark, it does look like there is something on the tracks. I really do hope that when the sun rises, there are pretty yellow trains sitting on the track.

Just checked... Cant see much since it's dark, but the web cam is up. YAY maybe tomorrow will be the day! who knows

sounds like to me the teen had health issues that no one knew about and riding the ride just provoked the heart attack. I dont think it is the rides fault at all. Seems like the parents have to find someone else that is in fault. I dont think the teen will win this suit.

I think so too... Just something you don't get to ever do. so something the first time would be interesting now wouldnt it

And how exactly do you know nothing is wrong with the coaster? Terpy, wondering... good point......keep wondering dear. From the two post on this subject, I have yet to hear any real reason on why that part of the park is closed........ steph, who just keeps wondering too.....

After hearing this I really am debating weather to buy a pass next year. That part of the park is just rotting away and SF is doing nothing about it. The Top Eliminator Dragsters closed in 2004 and guess what, there still sitting there! SFKK needs to just clear that part of the park out except Mile High Falls and just start all over. Without Mile High Falls and Twisted Twins there really is nothing to do. Kentucky Kingdom is sinking faster then ever and I fear Kentucky Kingdom's time is running out. You know what, I hate to admit it. But I really agree with this. I went there for my senior trip in 2000. There really is not much to do there. I haven't been there since because I have heard nothing but bad things about it. (ex after the girl got her feet cut off) I really like having SFKK. It's the only park here in Ky. Well except beach bend and I don't put them in the same category. The way the economy is, I dont know if SF has the money to bring that part of the park back to life. Is there any real definite answer to why this part of the park is closed? ex. money, broke rides or what?

I really hope that Allan guy is legit. He knocked a bunch of people out of the auction. Thats alot of money. Jeremy that is in second threw third place has a lot of money on the board too!

In what category? It sure won't be for theme... cause I am sure both Superman and Indian Jones the ride have heard the saying "sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never harm me" I have thought about KI winning some type of award for Diamondback; Best Steel Coaster or Best New Ride. Keep in mind Universal Studios Florida is opening a new steel coaster "HollyWood Rip Ride Rocket and Sea World Orlando is opening Manta. If they base the award off of extreme thrill then Diamondback probably will get it but if they base it off of the total ride experience then I think Diamondback has some serious competition. I will have to say though, those coasters look kick butt. I wouldn't mind taking a ride on those! DB is still top on my list though.

I can't believe some one is going to be able to buy the park for 25 million. It was originally 400 million. They are basically stealing it..lol. I just hope it helps the park get on there feet. Like I said it looks like a very well themed park. Just needs more rides

Well some of us want to pay that penny just for the pure fact its going to needy kids, not just a ride that goes fast! And I know that DB has more perks than "going fast"!!

Just wondering..... what about it?? It blocks out the area featuring Twisted Twins, which is closed for the second year in a row. I have ridden that. It's a sick ride. (sick in a good way) I know it may be some where else, but what is wrong with the coaster?

I just think every one is getting excited to see the trains on the track. It's getting close and since the web cam is down every ones hopes of seeing them placed just dropped. I know KI was without a web cam for along time, but when you do get one to watch a monster like this erect, you cant help but to watch it every day. And then when it's close to a big event like the trains, and the cam is down, it makes you wanna cry. LOL at least it does me. I have been on sick leave from work due to a surgery for the past 5 weeks now and watching the cams (and KIC) have made my days go by faster. I know to some it may be silly that some of us are bummed about the cams more than others but sometimes it just makes your day watching that.

Its both for me too. I wanted to see it all happen. I watched when it was topped off and the track completed. Now im ready for the trains. The cam. is still stuck for me too...

It seems like a very nicely themed park. I hope it can make it threw the rough economic times also. Best of luck to them

I hope not. I really wanted to see the process. Just all keep our fingers crossed it's the wind and everything will be the same..LOL
