There is an after 5 pm twilight ticket for like $24.99. Edit: As of now you can't buy the cheap ticket online like last year, but someone said you can buy one at the park.

If You Did Not Receive the Ride Warriors E-Mail...

WTF tigellinus? Anyways, Ryan, I think that post would've been better served in one of the other two or three main RWW forums, so more people would see this. -
What's going on in the Webcam?

Diamondback is the only ride I ride with my hands up the entire ride. -

I would go today but my ankle is still sore from spraining it, plus we're going next weekend for my niece's birthday . -
Ok, thanks. I want to check out the free channels, but I'm really busy, plus I'm always afraid of going on one of the not so free channels and being charged. I don't want that.

Very cool. I have the HD box and digital cable, and you said you have to have the on demand feature. I can buy like on demand movies, but is it still free, or is this on demand feature something you pay for each month?

^^If the ride gets stuck at the top, doesn't an mantanence person go up an elevator and just give it a little push? Same thing for TTD?
-
I think it looks like fun. I'm going to try to get my mom on it so then maybe she'll ride Firehawk, after getting used to laying down.
-
Yea, popularity. Which is why Son of Beast has consistently had long lines since it re opening What do you consider long? I'm often at the park and it's only a 30-45 minutes wait, many times less. Most of the other rides are then a 30 minute too. There are many factors that control the line length. It could be it has a lower capacity, so there appears to be more people, bad ride ops, etc.

Nice trip reports.I like the idea of keeping a 'diary.' Are the Phantom Flyers the ride where you lay down similar to Firehawk and then you spin around in a circle. I think it's purple and it's near Diamondback? I thought you had to be under a certain height or be with a child to ride that?

Wow, I would've never guessed that, but I wouldn't know because I don't know you . I'm glad you're finally riding the "big stuff." Wait, since the beginning of the season you've been to Cedar Point and ridden Top Thrill Dragster ? Wow, CP isn't even open yet. I love that feeling in my stomach on the drops, although I never really get it anymore . I miss it. Edit: The only coaster I don't EVER ride or rode is Son of Beast. It isn't that it scares me, but I don't want to get the crap beat out of me.

^I totally forgot about that Reds game. I collect the bobbleheads and I need to figure out a way to get one. I'm not going to the game, nor to RWW. I know, off topic but... Thanks for reminding me. Actually, not true. You DO have to be a member, but you DON"T have to be a Gold/Platinum Pass holder. You would, however, then have to buy an admission ticket for one easy payment of $47.99 + tax not included. Also, someone will buy one of the addmission tickets thinking that is enough to attend the RWW events, then find out they have to be a member of an approved organization. If you guys decide to do the RWW ERT, then no, they wouldn't have to leave. If YOU decide to do the normal Saturday/Sunday Beast/ Diamondback ERT, then they could not do that with you, but I would assume they could continue to do the RWW ERT. I'm not entirely sure, but I don't know why they couldn't. -

I normally do not go to opening day for KI (I go to the Reds' every year except this year) but I did go this year because of Diamondback. I wanted a First Rider shirt and I was REALLY excited to Diamondback. Normally, my family doesn't make it to KI until the beginning to middle of June. Just a quick off topic question about Platinum Passes, do they give you access to Soak City at Cedar Point? I didn't think I should start a topic for that. -

I'm sure he has. It's called a wine cooler. But seriously, if CF doesn't find a new line of credit after August 2011, then nothing new can be built if they don't have the cash, right? -
Well, I can understand her wanting to spend time with you on Mother's Day. You should feel the same. I'll be spending the day with my mommy .

I'll be with my family and be wearing anything. You'll never find me .

*whistles* That is a lot of money. What is the difference between the credit line running out: and when the debt matures Also, as to not coming to you for financial advice, I will if you are an investment advisor. Also, I probably would even if you aren't . -
A couple people asked me at school if I was the first rider. I told them no and they said ok. I mean they weren't idiotic and think there would be shirts saying first, second... Also, someone who works at the park told me there would only be 500 first rider shirts on Friday, April 17, the day before The Day. I was going to argue with her but someone else said she worked at the park, so I dropped it (I already knew she did). Then on Monday 20th, I asked her about it and she said she was wrong. But, she isn't stupid and she is quite nice.

At KI, I believe the cutoff height is 48" and most children at the age of 10 are taller than 48". -
The Case of the missing Diamondback Model
Diamondback FOF replied to DropZone99's topic in Trip Reports
Very nice trip report. I love your photos. The people in a couple of your photos when they were evacuated from Diamondback back looked like they were in excruciating (sp?) pain, praying, and crying. -
Everybody's talking about which ERT to choose on Saturday/ Sunday? If you guys are talking about like The Racer, FOF, FH for Sunday, I believe you can do all three. It doesn't make any sense to tell everybody to only choose one. As to the gold pass holder ERT and RWW ERT, you choose ONE, as earlier stated, NOT both.

I believe Action Theater opened. I was born in '94 and I think that is what someone told me. Edit: TopThrill, is that a question that you don't know (as in you're unsure about your not knowing), or a statement that you don't know .

I've never been to Coney. I'll have to try to get down there in the next couple of years. Well, I've been to Coney, just not to ride anything. I went down there to Riverbend for the Nickelback concert in 2007 and will be down there again on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 to see Nickelback again . -
