  1. Yeah, I would be happy to have a hyper here, too. Oh wait... I love KI .
  2. Well, Diamondback has had its first major problem today. The ride was shut down sometime before 6:50 pm this evening, and remains closed at this time. One of the trains was stoped on the MCBR and the riders were evacuated and walked down the spiral stairs case. The train remains on the MCBR at this time. I hope everyone is okay and there isn't a MAJOR issue with Diamondback. What happened to B&Ms not having problems .
  3. I hope it isn't anything too severe. Although, I'm jealous I wasn't on the train sitting on the MCBR. I think it would be fun to get to walk down those stairs. Also, the train is still sitting on the MCBR.
  4. Very nice report about Manta. I want to ride it soooo bad. I went to Florida last year (and Seaworld while there), and then a couple months later I find out a new coaster is coming. Oh well. Quick question, why did you repost your report?
  5. This is so unfortunate. I hope everybody makes a fast recovery and everybody's doing well. It's lucky, though, that no one was killed in the accident.
  6. I don't really understand the question, but Ryan earlier stated that you have to choose between the RWW ERT and the regular pass holder ERT. You can't do both. Hope this helps.
  7. So they admit they are the same person! Again... Man, he needs to learn to use better grammar BTW.
  8. Disney does something like that where you can charge onto your room's key card. I don't know exactly how this works because we didn't use it, but I know they have it.
  9. Well, they let people go partly down Internation Street and some of those people run, so if you want to be one of the first people you'll need to. But no, not really, would you need to run. If I were you, I would walk to the side of the Eiffel Tower that faces Rivertown and then cut by the Carosel and by Dodgem and then you are pretty much right there.
  10. Actually, Diamondback usually has one of the shorter wait times, especially if you use the single riders line. You could probably get at least four rides total during ERT, in any combination of The Beast and DB. As far as being allowed to walk to other parts of the park, I doubt it, but you could just be ready to run at 10 from the ropes.
  11. I would agree with Unrealsk8er about Opening Day. But, I considered Opening Day this year to not be too bad as far as crowds. I was very surprised. I went many times last year on Saturdays during the summer and fall and the crowds, and waits, were much longer. Even if it is a little overcast and/or muggy, that won't keep people away. I went on a few days the last couple of years when the temperature was near or above 90* and the heat index was mid-90s, and the lines were HUGE. Since you mentioned a Tuesday, the waits shouldn't be too bad. The middle of the week is fairly uncrowded.
  12. Wow, that's amazing. They're definitely doing their share to help the environment.
  13. No, but I do think of how amazing The Beast is with all of the trees and wish Diamondback was like that.
  14. I don't hate the idea of cutting down trees, I just wish more could've been saved or some planted. It would just make Diamondback soooooo much better. Edit: My family is planning on going to Cedar Point at the beginning of next summer.
  15. Isn't losing 2 pounds a week unhealthy? I think that is what I learned in health class. I think you're only supposed to lose 1 - 1.5 pounds per week. But anyways, awesome job :) !!!
  16. Supposedly in less than a half hour they will be in downtown Cincy, so in probably in 45 min- 1 hour they'll be in MAson, based on how they're moving. Edit: Mason should be getting wet in a matter of minutes.
  17. I love how Rivertown looks now, but I hate how the area around Diamondback back in the woods looks. IT's like a big dirt hole. I wish the grass would hurry up and grow, and I wish trees would be replanted.
  18. Yeah, I know and so does she. She first heard about it on the radio and April 1 (April Foll's Day) and thought it was a joke. The company is still trying to figure out a way to keep the show partially going. She is soooo sad .
  19. I don't know about 50 rides in 6 hours. That's one ride every 7 min. 20 sec. Take about 3 minutes out for loading and the ride, that leaves 4 minutes for the brake run and then exiting and walking through the line, then waiting in the very short line, and repeating. I would say about 40 in 6 hours, but IDK.
  20. For some reason, I doubt they would care. You would just be another one of the thousands of people they would see today. Also, the line was like that last Friday too. If you got up there at like 10 and then stayed until close, you could probably get closer to 50+ rides. I would be up there at around 5-6 tonight had I not sprained my ankle and gotten REALLY sick .
  21. Oooo, you're missing out. Big Thunder Moiuntain Raildord is a very fun ride. Even though it looks small and for kids, it's very fun. Even my mom, who hates roller coasters, like it. Just a side note, my mom doesn't ride much when we go to KI, but she watches Guiding Light on WKRC and the people on that soap opera went to Universal Studios Florida. My mom thinks that place looks like a lot of fun and she wants to go there. Yea her .
  22. The Super Walmart has two of those fans in their lawn and garden center. The inside portion, not the outside part where the plants are kept. Those things are MASSIVE.
  23. I voted for Tuesdays, but I would also say Wednesdays.
  24. rotag, I've wondered for some time now what your avatar is. I hadn't looked at it too closely, but I knew it looked really cool.
