Raptor, a walk on? When do you go to CP? I think one of the things that Railrider and I can agree on is that Raptor is really popular and consistantly has a line of some size. Raptor is definetly a walk on half if not most of the time. The only time it is more than 15 minutes is early in the morning, around 6 when the buses are about to leave, or on the busiest of days(4th of July, Saturdays at Halloweekends) It still gets constant riders though but it's not one of your rides with big wait times like Millie, TTD, or Maverick.

The New York Daily News is having a poll to name the top 10 roller coasters of all time. Kings Island has 2 contestants in Beast and Son of Beast. Also note that they still list Kings Island as Paramounts Kings Island http://www.nydailynews.com/money/business_travel/toplists/top_/top_.html

I don't know but it's seems kind of weird too me that they would put 2 of their thrill rides up for sale. Cedar Point better get some more, they don't have that many to begin with.

Yea it's back near pirate ship and across from Wicked Twister, and it is operating this year. The website its up for sale on says that the availability date is November 2nd which is the day after Cedar Point closes. So the ride is most likely going to run for the entire 2009 season.

Yea I know that's what I was thinking. Seems kind of cheap for a thrill ride huh?

At Cedar Point, while standing at the ATM in the back of the park across from Magnum and Witches Wheel, someone's phone battery fell from Dragster and landed right next to me. And it was only the battery, not even the whole phone!

Since Kennywood is close to Pittsburgh, stop by Primanti Bros. It has been shown on the travel channel a few times and has good food, many consider the best in Pittsburgh. They are all around too.

I'll probably be the one on here to get asked that and come to this site and post that. Then, you'll be reading it on your computer and start laughing and be like, "Finally. Someone posted one of my dumb, but purposful comments." Just letting everyone know, I DO say really dumb things on AE like yell for my mommy, say the ride scares me, and say the first really big, scarry drop is coming us as you come out of the station. I too have done dumb things on coasters. On Disaster Transport at CP once, me and my cousin started screaming so loud going up the lift hill and saying things like get me off of here and other stuff. Well there was a little kid and his mom behind us and the little kid got really scared! The mom was so angry at us

Yea go to Kings Island not Cedar Point. But if you do go to the point, she can ride Millennium.

Well the people at Canada's Wonderland wanted to get a picture of my whole family, just us 3 kids, and then just the parents... kind of weird, and at Cedar Point there's this one lady that walks around the entire park trying to take pictures. I see her everywhere.

Let's see how this goes for them, it's like the Yankees ticket prices all over again.

After a train came back on Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland the ride op said "Welcome back Behemoth riders how was your ride?"(Everybody on the train cheers) The ride op then says "Would you like to ride again?" (Everybody cheers louder) Ride op- "Well then your going to have to get off and get back in line!"

1. bizarro(superman ride of steel) at SFNE- it has been voted best steel coaster consistently over Millennium(2) and I have serious doubts that it can be better seems how it's slower and shorter. 2. X2 at SFMM- Never ridden a 4d and think it would be interesting. 3. Voyage at HW- I have heard nothing but good things about it. 4. Griffon at BGE- I have not ridden a dive coaster yet. Might be taking this off my list in July! 5. Tatsu at SFMM- It's considered the best flying coaster out there and I want to ride it.

Yea, very confusing article. It seems to me that they were trying to say that people get hurt at amusement parks all the time. In reality if you just follow the rules, you'll be fine.

Either Corkscrew or Raptor. Not quite sure because I know I rode them both on the same day.

Also get Cedar Creek Mine Ride in, that has had low ridership and is on a good piece of land so its days could be coming to an end too. It's not a great ride, but you might as well get it in. It's a walk on almost always so you won't waste too much time.

Thanks Terpy! I will add Wildcat to the must ride list. However, I did ride Blue Streak last time I went (third grade), and I remember it being the most bumpy ride ever. I do not think that I can bring myslef to ride it. Also, do you think I could get them all (must ride) done in two weekdays? If your going to be there for most of the two days you probably will be able to(unless you get one of those weird weekdays where the parks packed for no obvious reason). You should have walk ons for at least 6 of those(Gemini,Magnum,Mean Streak,Wicked Twister,Demon Drop,and Power Tower) short waits for 3 of them (Mantis, Wildcat, and Skyhawk) and moderate to long waits for Millennium, TTD, Maverick, and Raptor. Also you may want to add MaXair to your must ride list.

I would also add Disaster Transport to your must ride list. It too may not have many years left and it's only 1 of 3 left of it's kind.

A little more than 50-50, try like 75-25 I was at Cedar Point today and I am so jealous. I knew I should of taken a ride on it, maybe that could have been me. I was amazed when I saw it. I didn't think it could happen. I just thought gravity would have to pull it one way or the other.
