  1. For Cedar Point, Fridays are never crowded. Saturdays are extremely crowded, like the most crowded days of the year. Sundays are crowded during the morning, but as the day goes on it gets less and less crowded. When I went to Kings Island, Saturday wasn't bad but there were long lines for the haunted houses, especially Urgent Scare. Then I went on the last day of the season which was Sunday and the park was dead that day, like Firehawk was only 15 minute wait.
  2. How do DB and Behemoth compare to Apollo's Chariot?
  3. Yea, when we went there was tons of line jumping. The people were kind of stupid too because they were hopping the Behemoth fence 20 minutes after the park had already closed and all of the people in line were already in the station. So, of course, the employees standing there kicked them out. But the Behemoth line was the only place it was enforced. Most of the time, the people that were line jumping knew little to know english so it was hard trying to confront them about it.
  4. ^That stinks that Sledge Hammer was down, it is a great ride. The only real complaints I had against this park were line jumping was out of control, and the ride ops weren't getting the rides going quickly. The biggest example of this was Skyrider, where they were taking AT LEAST 10 minutes to get each train going. It actually turned a station wait until over an hour wait for us! The employees weren't that friendly when we went though, but maybe that had something to do with temperature in the 40s/low 50s! They were amazed that I was taking my jacket off when riding the coasters. But yea everything else was great at this park, and has TONS of exciting flats.
  5. He's talking about Thrill Thursdays where certain coasters are open for Platinum Passholders an hour after the park has closed. Here's the link, scroll down to Thrill Thursdays. Next one is this Thursday. http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/admission...point_perks.cfm
  6. Great trip report. I've enjoyed reading this 3 part series. I made it up to Canada's Wonderland in May. It's a great park and their International Street is amazing. Especially with Wonder Mountain there. So you didn't try one of their "foot long" hot dogs. I put foot long in quotation because they really should be called meter longs! They are huge. Yes, Shockwave is an amazing ride and I also enjoyed Sledgehammer- which is their Huss Jump2.
  7. I haven't got down to Kings Island this year yet, but if Diamondback is the same as Behemoth, then I would say Millie, Diamondback, Magnum. Millienium is just amazing and I don't know how anyone could possibly say it is boring, and I get great airtime on Millie, maybe you guys just have your restraint to tight? On Magnum, the airtime is great, but it's just so painful now you barely ever get an enjoyable ride on it. That's just my thoughts so.. 1. Millie 2. Diamondback(if its like Behemoth) 3. Magnum
  8. I guess I'm one of the only ones who thinks BLSC is a great coaster and very fun... AE doesn't thrill me that much. So definetly Backlot Stunt Coaster.
  9. Son of Beast. I've never ridden Texas Giant, but Mean Streak is just extremely painful, and worse than Son of Beast.
  10. Alpine Slide's aren't that bad, I rode one in Colorado. If people get injured it's because they're being foolish and fall off. If they hold on you won't fall off. I would never do that 2nd thing though.
  11. ^Totally agree with you. Raptor is perfectly safe. I've ridden the ride hundreds of times and never felt like that. The kid probably shouldn't have been riding coasters if he felt like that.
  12. I voted for Flight of Fear because it would be cool to have someone who has never ridden it answer questions in the dark when they don't know what's coming.
  13. The price is "only" $200. At Cedar Point last year the price was $400. I am pretty sure it still is. I guess it's worth it if your family is wealthy and your from a different country and have no plans on coming back to the park.
  14. I had to go with Rivertown because my favorite ride, Beast, is there.

    The Beast

Phenomenal, No pain, and it's not haunted.
  16. Yea it does remind me of the glass floor at the CN Tower. I love the glass floor up there. It's such a cool experience. I wouldn't do it if you're afraid of heights though.
  17. When I do the filter by parks section, it doesn't filter them. It just goes back to the way it was with rides from all the Cedar Fair parks.
  18. I can't wait to go to Kings Dominion. I get to go in 2 weeks. Is there enough to do there to spend a day and a half? I've heard a lot of good trip reports about the park, but I've also heard a couple of people say that there is not enough to do there.
  19. Your not going to like those mist fans in a few years when stuff starts growing on them like the fans at Cedar Point.
  20. People need to stop saying Kings Island needs something like Behemoth, because they already do. It's called Diamondback Edit: Sorry, HTCO said basically the same thing. I missed it while reading.
  21. If your a member of ACE you get about $15 off the admission price. You only have to pay $26.95 for a one day ticket and only $23.95 after 3. It is also only $84.95 for a season pass.
  22. Dick Kinzel's granddaughter rode it and hated it so they closed it down
  23. I can't stand these little kids bands. All these companies give these kids tv shows, and then try to turn the kids into singers! These kids are obviously not good singers and now I have my sister running around the house singing their songs. I am sorry, but these "singers" need to go back to acting. Then again, they're not very good at that either
  24. Definetly Millennium Force during Halloweekends at night when the fog from Terror Island completely covers the ride. You can't see anything in front of you at all. It's the most amazing ride ever.
  25. I voted Flight of Fear. The UFO and the glass mirror that makes you think that's a different part of the queue is just great!
