He can't even get the name of a coaster at CP right! (Of course, that could have been the editor) -
Um... what?

There's now only one webcam up now: the DB one.

OFFICIAL! Son of Beast Will NOT Operate in 2010
Diamondback96 replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
It needs to be completely torn down, redesigned, and built more towards the north. But if it's torn down, it will likely stay like that. -
If it was Pluto, then where's Mickey?

For all we know, GASM is being moved to another park.

Apparently, there's "never enough to experience" at Disneyland. And what's "Hollwood Studios"? -
Walt Disney World: New Park?
Diamondback96 replied to coaster_junky's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
The key word is unthemed. Disney didn't put much effort into DCA. They must have focused too much on DAK. The Busch parks have proved that thrills can work with theme, so why can't Disney do the same thing (of course, after all of the problems mentioned in the article are fixed)? -
Walt Disney World: New Park?

I think WDW needs a thrill park. They already have everything else. -
"Jamie Jacobs (Colorado) and Kevin Kurder (IL) celebrated the Fourth of July by getting married at Kings Island." http://twitpic.com/22g46w Glad to see something happy at KI from yesterday...

Hopefully the power outage doesn't last long... Otherwise, KI may have trouble ahead. Edit: How'd this get bolded?

Holiday World Questions
Diamondback96 replied to CincyMan98's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
No. Only on the 4th. -
The video has been fixed. It now looks similar to the real thing.
-
It actually uses YT's 3D feature, so no glasses are needed!

Diamondback's paint makes it stand out, as KI doesn't have any other rides painted like DB. SoB has the best structure.
-
But those were the only two major modifications, right?
-
Yikes. IMO there's a difference between "Needs a new paint job" (Racer, Vortex in 2001) and "Currently corroding and rotting to death". Don't you mean rusting, and not rotting? Either way, it looks horrible. Speaking of paint, is KI just going to let the paint on The Racer wear out, and not repaint it?

One was going to. It was even going to top Son of Beast (just as it later topped the tallest, fastest roller coaster in the world at the time). But, given the track record that the tallest, fastest wooden coaster had, it was decided not to build the first modern wooden coaster with not just one but what would have been a taller, faster wooden coaster with, count them, two loops... I can't find anything about it on the internet... That just bugs me. What park was it?
