  1. Don't worry, I had your back. I watched plenty of fireworks for you at the Reds game. Three homers. 8-3 win. Go Redlegs! Also, how are some people seriously still questioning the name? Not only is it trademarked, but all the theming clues match up to it. I really don't think the park would fake this one. And, please, no one mention Mustang. Banshee has a significant amount of more evidence than Mustang did. I'm glad I'm not the only one going "why on earth are people still questioning the name??" Other than the fact it hasn't been announced yet, it makes no sense that KI would go to such extremes with the Banshee mythological theming if the name was something completely different!
  2. Why do you think that? I don't think so, too close to the name Firehawk. I've overheard quite a few dumb park guest conversations to know the two would be quickly and easily confused by not so smart people
  3. I'm curious why you think that, given all signs point to Banshee and CF got trademark licensing for it. Unless Banshee will be a new ride in the future at another park? Though that still doesn't explain all the theming that points towards the name Banshee
  4. how did it go from #4 to not trending that quick?? bummer.
  5. If you were to draw an overhead layout of a coaster, what would the loop look like? Here's a picture of the loops on Vortex. Notice the "Z" shape. Ooh thanks for sharing! Much clearer now that I see that image vs trying to imagine it in my head!!! Very nice!
  6. Lol!!!! I can't keep up either!!! Every few seconds I get several pop-up notifications about replies!!
  7. While not OFFICIALLY announced, I have yet to hear anyone argue that the name WON'T be Banshee that's what I'm calling it, because that's what I believe it is lol.
  8. I'm sure I will get bashed for this but the worst ride experiences I ever had: 1. SoB - DANG I hated that thing!!!! Beat the heck out of me, I was in so much pain. I cried.... 2. Greased Lightning - two words: shoulder. harness!!!! If ever a ride needed them, it was that!!! I screamed in fear bc I really thought I was going to fall out. It sure felt like I was!!!! Maybe that lap bar was enough for larger people but not small people like me!!! I hated both and are glad both are gone!!!
  9. I find it so very fascinating that Invertigo is the same colors as déjà vu, or very very similar!!!
  10. Woah. Nice. I couldn't make out that it was a 90 degree lift in that video. Now I wanna go on it lol. It would freak me out soooo bad but it would be fun!
  11. Ah. Ok. I'll have to go look that up, then
  12. Hate to double-post (I'm sure somebody else will post by the time I finish typing anyway...) but the Z shapes are loops. think about how a loop would look if you were perfectly above it, and it'll start to make more sense. Ohhh ok when you state it like that, yeah it does make sense now! thanks for clarifying!
  13. I'm curious how it is different because it sure seems very similar to me. Never ridden it, would have to look up a picture of the whole layout but that video sure seemed just like Invertigo, only different surroundings and slightly different lift hill mechanisms. The stoppers seem different and I didn't hear the distinctive CLICK! that one hears on Invertigo...
  14. IT IS A INVERT. "A" invert??? Rotflol
  15. Y'all are wizards at decoding this blueprint. I still can't fully make it out. I kind of get it til the z shapes, then I'm thrown big time!!!!
  16. "I ♥ Diamondback!" Wait a second Just teasing. No I do love Diamondback. Front seat hands up is still a thrill to me, though back seat freaks the heck out of me LOL. Now Drop Tower is another story. I HATE IT. I keep forcing myself to go on it thinking at some point I will like it but nope. Facing forward (down) on Invertigo terrifies me, as well. I'm scared I will fall out. I'm only 5'3 and 100 pounds I will NEVER go on EXtreme Skyflyer or Slingshot lolUghhh, Slingshot just isn't okay for me. I would much rather depend on carts riding on steel then a steel ball on steel cables. lol Ditto. I'm ok with falling on roller coasters because I'm secure. Drop Tower scares me bc I can't see below me. Even though I count down from 5 when it stops it still scares me lol

  18. This should help you. http://rcdb.com/r.htm?ot=2&ml=6803 Here's a a video of one. Thanks I will go look at that. Trying out Tapatalk now vs Safari on my iPhone lol
  19. Yikes!!! Those look freaky lol I have a fear of falling, so it would take A LOT of warming up for me to go to the front on something like that!!! Lol
  20. Oblivion, Griffon, etc. I am unfamiliar with either of those. Time to go to YouTube thanks
  21. Ok I am clueless. What is a dive coaster??
  22. Thanks for posting that!!! I don't remember that coaster, it was there when I was still in the ages of kiddy land lol and had been wanting to know more about it, but hadn't gotten around to looking anything up yet about it I'm now motivated to go look up King Cobra. I wanted to ride that so bad but they took it out before I was tall enough
  23. http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com/coasters/new02/cp_wickedtwister/cp_wicked_pr.shtml Ugh....semantics. I'm sorry...really...but I don't see the connection. All I see in the article is a reference to how CP would be the only park in the world with 3 coasters over 200'. I suppose, yes, that was a world record for a park, but maybe I'm missing something in what you guys are saying. I mean, at that time, WT was announced to be the world's tallest and fastest twisting impulse coaster....ie. a world record-breaking attraction. It just seems to me that "world record-breaking attraction" is a reference to a "world record-breaking attraction", and not a clever play on words for the sake of marketing in which they play around with the collective minds of the public, tricking them into thinking the ride itself will be a record breaker, all the while secretly knowing the record would only apply to the entire park as opposed to the attraction itself. Has anyone seen my Disaronno? I think I need it tonight. I could use a good buzz. Here's a more directly relevant example: http://rcdb.com/584.htm?dt=126&d=31 The SOB fact sheet claimed most wooden track at one park as one of SOB's records. Go out in the yard and play. We'll call you inside when supper's ready. First, it's "dinner", and second, I've already had it. Meow! *hiss* hey now!!! I'm the Kat here, shouldn't I be the one meowing and hissing?

Has anyone seen my Disaronno? I think I need it tonight. I could use a good buzz. Yeah, like the Getty Center. I'm dying to go see that place. Maybe this will help you Kat sweet! Thanks! I'll go look at that right now That's really sweet looking!!! Maybe a stupid question, but I'm assuming that's based on the actual blueprints? It's based on his interpretation of the blueprints. I'd say it's a really good attempt to match what the blueprints show, but we can't say it's definitively what the coaster will be like. No doubt there are certain tweaks that would need to be made to it. Go out in the yard and play. We'll call you inside when supper's ready. Meow! Well yeah I know it's not necessarily exactly what Banshee will look like but it's still a very sweet model, regardless of whether or not it ends up being like that or not I'm sure only Don and select others know EXACTLY what Banshee will look like when it's complete
  25. I am sure I missed it, so asking instead of digging through hundreds of pages What are the guesses as far as height of the first lift vs first drop, speed, capacity, total track length and ride duration length?
