Usually, the idea is that you "upgrade to gold for free". That is what it has been in past years when you buy early. The regular passes usually come out once Gold are gone. Right, Terpy?

I did not go back and read this entire thread (go ahead, Terpy, kill me). I think that the capacities are based on perfect conditions. The manufacturers are in the business of selling rides to parks. They want to present the best possible scenario, not the worst case one. Those capacities are based on riders being ready to ride. They are not based on riders who take off their shoes even though the ride ops say "Shoes are required to ride Diamonback" or people who leave their shoes on the concrete even though "all items must be placed in the metal bins before Delirium can start".

I agree that no one needs to be bashed or called names; however, people need to take responsibility for knowing when the park closes. The hours are on the Kings Island Sign, on 2 LED Reader Boards at the entrance, on the website, etc. People cannot complain that the park employees need to tell them without being asked. The employees have a lot of instructions to give at the beginning and end of each ride. If asked, I am sure any park employee would answer the question without hesitation. I think the employees at Kings Island are (generally speaking) well informed, polite and helpful. I think guests need to take some responsibility as far as opening and closing times of the park and other things.

I know this is a little off topic from this post, but has anybody bought those disposable glasses for the boo blasters haunted mansion? Is the 3D neon paintjob worth a buck or not? I bought them once and them used them for both BBBH and Snoopy Starlight Spectacular. Was worth $1.

I'd argue that the EuroBubbles/Flight Commander are "near The Vortex Exit". This area seems relative small for a ride and queue.

I think at 301 feet tall, it will be visible from anywhere. I think the Flight Commander spot is where it is going, I am just a bit confused. I am sure all will be reveal in due time.

Park Map If you look at the park map, it shows that the ride would be on top of Vortex basically. I wonder if someone plotted it wrong or if we have the location wrong in our heads.
