  1. if the jury decides to award only medical bills paid and no pain and suffering based on the video evidence. she can appeal?
  2. yea , 250,000.00 dang, she gets that for exaggerating her injuries. guess we will see monday
  3. wow "Finke also rolled footage of a private investigator’s surreptitious film of Wright in May, showing her shopping and putting her 5-year-old son into her car, her left leg lifting up as she buckled him in. She also was seen carrying a box of what appears to be groceries into a house. In one clip is looked like she may be wearing healed sandals."
  4. did you see this? http://www.daytondailynews.com/news/crime/...ies-352019.html
  5. was it a closed court room ? or was media in the court room?
  6. well said......so true, live today as it is your last day on earth.
  7. good question, i would like to see those stats.
  8. reading this post make me feel like we are saying good bye for ever , but agree THAnKS to all.
  9. OMG .......i wonder how many layers of paint they would have to strip on racer?
  10. ahhhh... ok well that shot my thought to Hell. lmao
  11. how bout paint it bright PINK
  12. YES! KI needs a stand up! And a B&M while they are at it! is it just me or does it seem like parks dont like stand ups? change removal is a prime example. hmmmmm.....but the guests love them. what other parks have stand up coasters? many left ?
  13. i miss paramout, cause they were a "THEME" park. and CF is an amusement park company.
  14. You thought all 20+ people had broken sternums and no other injuries? Please tell me this comment was a lame attempt at humor. This will end up being a case of "he said, she said." What I mean by that is: since RCCA started the original construction that was later taken over by Paramount, who is going to be accountable if the plaintiff claims the accident is due to faulty construction/ design/ materials. Then add is the lawsuit that KI filed in 2000 http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2000/11/2...sland_sues.html This case is going to get very messy, and everyone will be getting involved. yes i couldnt decide which to use.......i almost went with the hot coffee bit at McDonalds...lmao....
  15. See post 30 above, but the article indicates that the defendants have not made any 'worthy' settlement offers...in other words the two sides are very far apart moneywise at the moment. oh wow ....yes it could get ugly then. (money wise)
  16. Perhaps. But is money a perfect remedy? How much would you pay to avoid several painful surgeries (assuming that is the case) over the next several years? How much would you have to be paid to suffer such an injury and the resulting surgeries? Again, there are at least two sides to most cases, and most have many more sides than that. you know MONEY fixes everything ...lmao
  17. That will be an issue if the matter goes to trial. The defendants will claim they took all reasonable measures to protect the guests. The plaintiff will claim otherwise. i have a feeling the defendants will try to settle outta court before trial hits. yes? can they still do that ?
  18. exactly, like CedarPointer said "Do most rollercoasters injure guests?" it was not the intent of KI to injury that guest. they took all safety measures.
