Actually, DB was down for a little bit this ( July 30th) afternoon.

I (the guy with all the tats) rode with you in the front seat numerous times LLKC, some towards the back as well. I agree, the third row of any car was horrible. Was so rough for me it altered my ride ability for the afternoon. We all rode way more than the ACE rep though, lol. This was a great event and hopefully next year it will be even bigger

This an awesome experience and was a nice turnout for a first time event. The ride ops were excellent and my 5 rides with Brian were great. Was cool to meet new people and ride Racer til I just couldn't stomach it for another second. Lunch was great and in a wonderful area, though the chicken strips Don mentioned in the morning failed to appear, lol. Helping this great cause at my favorite park was an honor. I am hopeful that next year will see an even larger turnout now that people can talk about just how nice this event was. Plenty of regular park goers donated money as well throughout the day. I to, was foolish enough to ride ol Red this afternoon.

It was a blast, but I am done riding Racer for the season. I was a lightweight with a total of 65 rides out of 115 or so.

Today at the lunch for Coasting For Kids Don mentioned Son of Beast. He said not to pay attention to ANYTHING being said on any fansite, etc cause they are all just rumors. If I heard him correctly, he said the park hasn't even discussed the ride in a long time and do not plan on it. Something about perhaps they will know what they are doing with it by NEXT fall.

No way I would take all that crap on a vacation. Wouldn't surprise me if they only lost 1/3 those items and see this as an opportunity to make some money. As for car alarms, I rarely see anyone look twice at a car going off. My car sets them off if I am anywhere near them.

Think I should be able to find it, I hope, lol.

Couple more thrill rides and I may make a trip up there. Most flats make me vomit and I don't care much for pools of water filled with people I don't know. Oh the joys of opinion, would be a shame if we all had the same ones.

So far I have enjoyed every first seat ride I have taken, except for Beast.

Weird, cause I have yet to bang my head on Vortex and enjoy the ride a lot. I suppose the roughness adds to the ride for me and I just ignore it. Diamondback is a blast to ride but I more enjoy the loops and such as opposed to my stomach feeling funny. Next year we plan to hit up more parks, so I will be able to experience more rides and such. I'm fairly new at coasters so the variety my better help me understand peoples likes/dislikes better. At the moment, I love them all, lol.

Oh well, will just be wet and in pain after riding for 10 hours.

Oh man, I can just imagine how nasty those can get Lots of people get a kick out of spitting from Lift Hills as well. That and someone always has to lean out and touch the railing, lol. One kid on AE was very determined to break his wrist or arm reaching for everything he could.

^ I agree, the Hyatt on Natorp is a very nice hotel. We get a gov discount with the wife's job and that makes the price a lot better. Even cheaper though to stay at her cousins house in Colerain Heights.

True. They look interesting but not enough so to pay the extra cash for a try.

I see bad behavior on every visit, sad really. The amount of people spitting off of rides and such is amazing.
