Excellent detective work there oldiesmann. just what I thought a old family farm cememtary, it's werid they have the day they died but not their bithdates on the stones. the ghost I hit was most likly walking home from the park that night .

I wish I had a penny for every time I get ask this question from guest on how to ride the flowrider what's the secret to this ride. and what's the trick to this ride. I'm not a secret agent and I'm not a magician. and people smoking behind the stands hiding from security and throwing their lit cigerettes on the ground for bare footed people to walk on, off with their heads!!! as the king would say.

I know people say it's on the north end of the park, But does anybody know exactly where , like behind Top Gun etc. I've seen a marker on state Rt 52 that tells of a pioneer family that was moving across America in the 1800's and there daughter passed away and was burried there not 4feet off the right side of the road , you can learn about the people in the cementary from the county court house what they died from if they was in the military or the cementary is a family plot, it could be and interesting piece of history. next time i run into some mist up there I could say sorry Jeb didn't see you in the road.

The cementary at the north end of the park is it a pioneer cementary? I was driving on the road to the camp ground that comes out of the park, just when I turn into the camp ground there was a mist about 6 feet tall and I drove right thru it, just as I got thru it I relized it might have been a ghost . it was shaped almost like a human , it wasn't smoke from a camp fire because as soon as I hit it it was gone not shifting around the hood of the truck like smoke.

I love going to PKI, Great rides, and the food in B&B greatly improved over the year before, But there is room for improvment there also, I've never ate the fried chicken in the picnic area, But the way it smells when you walk by wouldn't hurt adding it to the menu. Got to be better than the strawberry salad they had at B&B the year before.

You are and addict when you stay at wipeout beach when it's 55 degrees out 20 mph wind chill factor and pki management want to use you as a smurf display in Hanna barbara land.

Opening day of the water park a bunch of us would grill out at 900am in the parking lot . until pki security kinda frowned on it , So now we show up with KFC and jim's fold up picnic table that comes with ants that decided to hibernate in the wood. no pinic's complete without ants.

Sounds like a good time , Anybody know how many different clubs there is at PKI? I seen a web page the other day, There was a the coaster club, and flying eagles club that will soon go down in flames, And I also know of a surfing club at Boomerang Bay.

WOW that carousel is from 1919. is that carousel one of the rides they took from old Coney Island ? I remember riding the shooting star when I was 5, my rear was 4 inches off the seat going down the first hill and my sister was trying to pry my hands from the bar on the way down, but the death grip held.

Surfers paradise, The lines never empty and there plenty to laugh about there.

I know PKI always judges their ride by the numbers and they have to. but this timeI think it's a mistake to take out something that's that popular. IF a little kid is willing to wait 45 minutes to ride a ride you have a sucessful ride. Try getting a kid to stand for 45 minutes anywhere and you got a parent ready to comit harri karri. Why not try to improve the ride and it's capitcity by moving some of the other rides less popular and adding on another rail or making the coaster car a 4 person car, that has to be cheaper for PKI than building another ride that may not be as popular. if it's not broke don't fix it , Improve on it.

One time we had four guys, one was 257lbs two was 230lb and I was the fly weight at 205lb, we went down the hill in the funnel went up the first side I could reach out and touch the pipe where the water come's out . when we came off the oppisite side and to the bottom the water speed bump just about cause a train wreck, it stop us dead. Your right skinny people don't stop as fast they glide over the bump. our tube was a low rider that day.

I'll head straight to the flowrider pull out my new board and ride until september. Maybe a few rides on Taz the racing slides but not for at least a couple days. surf club has 200 members and all will be there opening day, so i'll get a ride in ever 90 minutes in line. But it's worth the wait after waiting 9 months to ride.

Even with a discount you'll need a secound morgage on the house to stay there. Campsite about $ 20 a night $25 with a big Mc Donald breakfest. At the camp Hearing some drunk puke his guts out then wanting to go ride the S.O.B at 4:00am and get a little night stick shampoo from PKI security. PRICELESS!

Four of my friends started camping out on Labor day weekend 4 years ago up til last year the group grew to 48 people, Beleave me the camp gounds got history to spare, And it's showers was in need of repair . The new camp ground will also have electrical hookups to all their sites. unlike the old camp, And bigger shower areas. Pki is always improving areas of the park i don't think the park sucks , Maybe some of the people that work there. but there's people like that everywhere and you don't know what they have to put up with at their job. Hey maybe they'll let the resort visitors in a half hour sooner to the park than the public. That should make you guy's happy. lol

OH that would be a problem PKI Delirium, That's the info I was given maybe it's better to stay at the resort. or invest in a gas mask.

I rode it a lot last season , The trick is to keep your weight on your elbows and not sit all the way down in the tube. If you didn't owwwwwww. instant speed bump on the rear. but it's a fun ride if you got the right people on it. I first rode it on VIP preveiw day and you would go higher on the wall of the funnel than later in the season, I guess from the calcium buildup on the walls slowed you down.

NO WORRY'S , Got the info before the camp ground close last season. The park plans on moving the camp grounds down behind the Son of Beast. when the rumor was flying around about the resort, People called and complained they wouldn't be able to afford to come into town and stay in a resort.some said they enjoy camping instead a hotel. So PKI made plans to acomadate everybody, everybody know how PKI love's to count their counts in the lines, their not going to get rid a campground that get's more attendance than the KI motel. So no worry's

Better hope the ground freezes, Otherwise your going to need a perascope for your backhoe. They say the worst winter storm in 67 years is going to hit here next week. That means will get a 1/8 of and inch.

The guards had trouble with the tubes at Boomerang Bay this year keeping them inflated. Does your taz bust your tail bone after you come out of the tube into the funnel and hit the water running along the bottom of the funnel? I think one person broke their tail bone on ours.

How about a picture of the land east of Boomerang Bay. Just curious of the land PKI has to play with if they every decide to expand the park instead of rebuilding on the same property. Thanks

I know the water park was just updated, But a Brutis Maximus _Flowrider would be sweet . Ron Jon surf park in Cocoa beach Florida just build a wave pool that the floor moves to make any wave in the world you want to ride. If you want to ride a wave from Hawaii say pipeline, Jaws etc. just tell the operater and you got it . How sweet it be.

( at the flow rider ) A- See that big tower just cut thru the woods behind taz and take a left at the third tree stump to your left. Q- Ok where do i find taz A- Your koo koo for coacoa puffs aren't you. Q-How deep is the water at the Flow Rider? A- Over my head. Q- How fast is the water moving. A- 300 mph Q- Really will it hurt? A- Only if you slow down for the sharks to catch you.
