There was a term we would use in the film business: "This producer is tripping over dollars to save pennies". If this is a cost saving issue for KI consider this: Last season Snow woman and I chose to pay more money than we would have in Mason to eat in the park and get the funperk rewards so we could get Fast Lane discounts. So KI got our lunch money AND money for Fast Lane passes that we probably wouldn't have gotten without the funperks discount. (not to mention all the money we spent on snacks and 2 meals on the days we bought Fast Lane passes) This season, what are the odds of you getting a Fast Lane discount or a BOGO deal as a pass holder? Slim and none is my guess. So we'll simply travel one mile up the road, get more food for less money, and just let the tourists pay full price for the Fast Lane passes. Multiply my story by many more funperks members. How many pennies do you think they are saving?

I read it as the end of FunPerks as well. If so Bad Idea!! I reached Level 4 last year and I assure you it wasn't because of my good looks! We spent many dollars at the park to get to that level. If anyone with KI reads this, please know if this program ends, a lot more of our money will go to the restaurants over in Mason.

I have an ear condition that has left me deaf in one ear and impaired in the other, and loud noises cause serious ear pain and dizziness. I am the last person that expects the world to conform to my impairment. I carry earplugs and if Snow woman wants to see a show, we choose to go in the theater and I have time to put the earplugs in. With the marching bands, you never know where they're going to be. Numerous times we have come around corners only to be greeted with cymbal crashes and loud drums. We have to sit down until the ringing and dizziness goes away. If they put them in the Amphitheater, I'd have no problem, but marching around the park, you can get stuck on a path for awhile. Trust me it can be brutal.

I just happened to be on the KI webcam page just after 8o'clock this morning and the WindSeeker webcam flashed an image briefly. It was like they were testing the video feed or setting the camera. I didn't get a screen capture fast enough, but I could swear I saw 2 flat rides where the grassy area in front of BLSC used to be. I wish I could tell you what they were, but I don't know enough about them. After about 15 seconds, the camera went dark again. Then they started messing with the on screen graphics. They were cycling through things like time, temperature, Date, ride wait times, and what rides were down. I can't wait for KI to get it up and running.

Clearly any thread that brings Raptorguy out is a hot topic. Frankly I don't care who pays more money to get in line in front of me. I just want KI to open the park so I can get in any coaster line! It's less than a month everyone, try to hang on and not verbally destroy each other.

I told Snow woman about Fast Pass Plus and she summed it up perfectly: I asked, "What do you think about this at KI (our home park that we go to all summer)?" she said, "This is ridiculous! How dare KI add extra charges, shame on them. we'll never use them." I then said, "They're also doing it at CP with TTD and Gatekeeper. When we go this summer, do you want to purchase the fast pass plus there?" she said, "ABSOLUTELY!!!" That sums it up to me.

Repeated questions from duplicate thread: Being new to Cincy, I have a question that maybe a long timer can clear up. When something "Reds" like this is opened, is Pete Rose embraced or shunned? How is Pete treated around town? After all, it's hard to separate him from the Reds. What did he do that was so bad compared to today's MLB players? Didn't he just bet on his own team to win? Did he ever bet against his team, or shave points? Not trying to hijack a thread,just genuinely curious. I'm real happy to see a sit down go there, and glad there will be pass benefits. Patio sounds interesting depending on where they put it.
