On the last day of operations last year The Beast crew had a trivia game going. They would ask Beast related questions and if you got it right they gave you something fron their lost and found box.

On Friday i was at K.I. with a friend and these parents had a little girl who was two or three, the parents were letting her run ahead like 15 feet ahead of them. I was sitting in front of the Oktoberfest pond at the time when suddenly the little girl just ran under the fence and almost fell in the pond by the time the mom got there. Then after they got her out they continued to let her out of their sight.

While my friend and I were about to board Flight of Fear i heard these two girls who were probably 15 were talking. Because they were behind us we overheard that they both loved the ride. Then just as we were boarding one said to the other " I love this ride because it doesn't go upside down." I was like

Yes they get in some form of trouble for not taking x amount of photos a day.

I actually heard about this on opening day but didnt want to post in case it wasnt true. Just signed up and got my free drinks wristband!

Opening Day was around a 2 because in the morning everything was walk on then it became a little busier. I left about 4 and by then it was busier.

I so wish I could do this. P.S. I love the skid brakes, they are so cool!

On opening day when i rode (First train of the year!!!) I was very surprised to see so much new wood but as soon as i didn't get beat to death in certain spots I was very glad it was there. (I hope that The Beast stays smoother like it is now.)

It does take quarters, I know I lost all of mine playing it!

Many new arcade games and prizes. Coke oasis now has salads and fruit and many options of drinks.

My neighbor works at K.I. this year so we stopped in the Emporium where she worked to say hi. When we asked where the Coke freestyle machine was she said that they told all the employees that it was a few months late and wont get here for 2 or 3 months.

When I went today the detectors were not back so i wonder if they will ever be back.

Did anyone here meet any goals for opening day. I made it on the first train of the year on The Beast, which was my goal.

Wow SpiritSong will be for almost a full year? A Christmas event at KI? Colonel couldn't resist. Wow I feel stupid now, I believed this and went looking for this on their site!
