  1. But what about Beast? Also, its not a democracy anymore, its a absolute monarchy, to the middle europe we go! (Not old english, thats beowulf style) Kings Island Constitution does not currently place term limits, though those of the steel party argue strongly for them.
  2. I assume we are using popular vote, unless someone found a way to make a system as bad as the electorial college. My electorial battlegrounds: (amongst the two major parties) Rivertown: tie Coney Mall: slight edge to wood party (due to more recent Vortex allegiations) International Street: tie (although some support for tower party remains, some resentment for the effiel tower being left off the ticket) Action Zone: edge to steel party (SOB affair) Planet Snoopy: edge to wood party (Woodstock(formerly Beastie)), however strong third party support for Peanut Party) X-Base: slight edge to steel party (strong write in vote from here) Surf City: three tie between wood party, steel party, and Soak City party (due to isolation from rest of park) How would I assign the number of votes each got? Maybe number of rides?
  3. 1-1 on Racer 11 minutes 32.5 seconds Blue 78,550,742 leaves and I wasn't even one of now 14 no-it-alls.
  4. Why would you close the park at 5:30? Its disservices the people who come to stay the whole day. How long would they have to wait, an hour, hour and a half? It takes awhile to clear out the park.
  5. 30 minutes on a good day, 40 on most
  6. At KI, Firehawk (2011) for non-coaster, non- Planet Snoopy, high thrill attraction Drop Zone (2010), regular attraction the carousel when I was 5-6-ish? (1999-2000?) If I did at all.
  7. A ride op told my friend to put his shoes back on, although he was wearing them. They were skeleton-toes, although his were dark brown, and his skin a tad bit lighter. Another ride op had to convince them they were actually shoes.
  8. Well, crowds are not interested in the old relics, only enthusiasts are. So I would say none of the above. Crowds are about moving forward, progress, the iphone 5...
  9. For me, All candy was created equal, my taste buds don't discriminate. Looking forward to passing out candy, and eating even more. Though sometimes I wish more kids would take that candy before I'd eat it. Darn limited stomach capacity...
  10. Adventure Express, Phantom Theater Man, I miss Phantom Theater. So do my arms every time I ride Boo Blasters...
  11. I loved backwards, back when I usually succumbed to my fear of heights. Now I embrace it.
  12. Dude I heard we're getting TTD in 2014! Man I can't wait.
  13. Here's my short list, and yes I did visit BGW this year Best Amusement Park- Cedar Point Best Theme Park- Busch Gardens Williamsburg Best New Ride- Verbolten (BGW) Most Beautiful Park- Busch Gardens Williamsburg
  14. Wait, I thought ferrel was spelled with two l's
  15. I'm sure 70 will be the next 30 by then.
  16. Though playgrounds do use a different type of wood, due to EPA regulations
  17. What does KI have up their sleeve?

  18. ^^Since when were zombies associated with Dec 21? Seems a little chilly.
  19. I went on Vortex twice today (yesterday), and I didn't think it hurt. It was a little bumpier than usual, and I know the ride ride shut down for a short period of time. My day at KI was great, and the lines seemed fairly short to me. Maybe I just go on the wrong days.
  20. I don't think they can expand Action Zone to replace SOB. The space for the rides shouldn't be an issue, but the area in discussion as is feels sort of like a dead end (Restrooms + Ride Entrances) But if they manage to expand back out that way, we could see a shorter line for Flight Deck? I feel Cedar Fair will build a single replacement coaster, whatever the type may be, along with renovations to the current Action Zone area.
  21. I have had the procedure done before, except with four teeth removed. Teeth hurt for four to five days before medication wasn't needed anymore. So I think a four or five day brake would be most appropriate considering the situation. Honestly I think you could go earlier, just depends on the pain.
  22. Never happened to me, but I'm more of a reader than writer.
  23. Last time I went to KI (two weeks back), I had one for lunch. I thought it was some special just for the Mason area, until I saw the commercial. Except this time I think the burger lived up to its name.
  24. I had to go with the KI&MM Railroad. Height restrictions keep members of the family off the coasters and WWC, while one member of the family may have a fear of the dark or a fear of heights, making the train, the most family friendly ride.
