Omg, what if they registered Banshee just to divert us !!!

I never had Skyline some people like it some people don't. Same for Gold Star. Pennstation would be great to have but it would compete with the other potato related restraunts.

I think there is a lot you don't know. Firstly, construction is nowhere near finished on the new ride. There is no way it would be open for this years Haunt. Secondly, I don't think KI is going to open a roller coaster just for the Haunt and not the rest of season. Thirdly, all the scary theming serves one of two purposes: 1. Hint at the ride being called Banshee (do your research on this) OR 2. Throw us WAY off the path of what this coaster is going to be. My friend said the ride was going to be called "Intamin." Or something like that. And why would they be putting SCARY stuff in the Action Zone if its not for the Halloween Haunt? Themeing, Build up, Hype, Excitement, doing what should be done, Banshee. Why can't they have a scary themed ride without it being haunt related? Not all of us can or goto the haunt so why not have something scary them year around. Just adds to the park. Maybe you guys all think the scary stuff is for the new roller coaster but its really for a new Halloween Haunt....... Well it is possible they could be using it up until the announcement but they'll either give those props ( head stone) to they people they refer to, use them with the ride ( Witch I hope) or could use them for the haunt this year! No need to waste!

I hate to comment on a rather far back post but has anybody ate there lately? thumbs up or down? Is there still a seating fee for that building? What food options do they have there?

I agree with what you're saying. Record breaking in that roller-coaster's genre.

Can we get a link or a video of the media saying so? 150 mph roller-coaster is fast stuff. I hope they'll go a bit over 150 mph just to set the bar rather for it to be beaten the next year or so.

But yeah, no matter what I surly hope nobody tries to get information of any sort illegally because 1. If there was rules for this investigation that would break the rules and it some what spoil it. 2. When one person breaks the law others too may follow just because they may not know it is illegal or may think it's safe. Also, I know no of us has bad intention or anything but no matter what if you break the law you break it. We're only humans and coaster enthusiast! About the pictures tho. Some of those track pieces are huge!! I wander if the coaster will be blue and dark grey/black. Oh well! time will tell. Then again that grey/black track piece could be like the green piece and be no good.

Wow this is kind of crazy when you think about it. Foundation work is just about done and next thing well see is steel being put in. XD

I don't care what people think but that would be a pretty cool place for a tunnel. Walking about in AZ and see a coaster roaring out of a tunnel. I sure hope we some terrain hugging elements or just some aesthetically pleasing decoration. LOL

I mean, I know King's island wouldn't really like to go with something not a safe bet but you go to take a risk somtimes. ( Okay you don't but I'm just putting it out there they might throw a curve-ball at us. Witch I really hope they do.

"I ♥ Diamondback!" Wait a second Just teasing. No I do love Diamondback. Front seat hands up is still a thrill to me, though back seat freaks the heck out of me LOL. Now Drop Tower is another story. I HATE IT. I keep forcing myself to go on it thinking at some point I will like it but nope. Facing forward (down) on Invertigo terrifies me, as well. I'm scared I will fall out. I'm only 5'3 and 100 pounds I will NEVER go on EXtreme Skyflyer or Slingshot lol Ughhh, Slingshot just isn't okay for me. I would much rather depend on carts riding on steel then a steel ball on steel cables. lol

One of the worst ride experiences I've EVER had. Even Ninja at Six Flags St. Louis hurts. Before they fixed the seats on the Invertigo it was a bit rough on the back. Sadly one of the first things people want to goto. But it has been fixed!

Don has said that the park will not stream the announcement live. Okay, thanks! Anybody want to take up on the task of using an livestream app on their phone or just record it?

Do you think the announcement event will be live-streamed or recorded at all by King's island? If not I hope we can get some members in there and get a video at least so we can watch it.

Okay, so I've been thinking about this ride and how a terrain hugging type rides are kind of cool.( well I mean they look cool.) But what if the ride dropped into Crypts ( Tunnels) and traversed through grave yards. Like in the tunnels would be a Banshee screaming or something ( I'm wishing to much.) I don't care tho whatever we get i'll be satisfied with tho.

Pretty cool "shout out" and mention by the park, and it's good to see the park and this site are in good standing I am impressed that he actually has been looking at this website and this forums! Show's that he is keeping and eye out for our feedback and also enjoying every minute of our "investigation".

Yeah, Auto-cad isn't hard to mock up a drawing of a " ride" but the footers that are shown in the video look to much like the "live" pictures. Either we got a guy that is really good at eye balling pictures and putting them down or it's legit. I mean who really wants to spend all their time making three drawings of a fake coaster. Especially being rather detailed. Although there isn't hardly any dimension on the drawing but this is a reference for general use. That's the beauty of layers being able to be turned on or off on Auto-cad.
