Disney likely to follow Universal to hike ticket prices. I think they will still get rising attendance and revenue regardless this coming year. Bringing Your Family to Orlando’s Theme Parks for a Day Will Now Cost Over $600 https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/bringing-family-orlando-theme-parks-155930684.html

I am not close enough to the situation to know the intent of the park or interviewer, but would like to give everyone involved the benefit of doubt. I am hopeful the park will correct any errors in the hiring process going forward. Also that Christopher and park management can find a path to forgiveness and amends for both sides. Hoping to hear he does come back to the park this summer, doing the job he apparently loved for several years. On the subject of special needs workers (not sure of the special needs in this case) . . all I can say is the joy and enthusiasm I have witnessed from some special needs workers at our local Kroger, makes my day better. I love interacting with them and I go out of my way to be in their checkout line.

There was website dedicated to Kings Island entertainment . . outside the Cedar Fair websites. It had up to date stories and cast member information, etc.. For anyone who knows it will you post the link here again? I know I got it from KIC but have since lost my URL link. Thank you.

A little blast from the past article in the July 1983 Cincinnati Magazine issue. . . who remembers $12.95 general admission? https://books.google.com/books?id=Qh4DAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA70&lpg=PA70&dq=kings+island

I realize most of you probably know of this ride, but I only discovered it today with this article. I really love the theming of how the queue wraps all around the ride with onlookers and how the riders face forward/backward. Not that I like it better than the original Tomb Raider, but it's just an awesome looking ride. I'm no expert but I'm guessing its the smaller version of a top spin and not the giant we had at Kings Island. I always appreciated the theming around these rides. http://www.littlethings.com/talocan-ride-phantasialand-v7/?utm_source=flys&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=shocking

11 Antique Roller Coasters You Can Still Ride
rlentless replied to rlentless's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I looked up more information about the "Roller Coaster" at Lagoon in Utah. I guess it just sits at the bottom of the mountain. But this is a John Miller designed classic woodie built in 1921. It really could use a new paint job. -
The Beast made this list although I don't really consider it as "Antique". The one I like on the list because of it's name is #8 in Farmington, UT . . . it is just called "Roller Coaster" . . . kind of gave me a chuckle. First time I ever heard of it, but looks fun being on the side of a mountain. Maybe just good for the views. IDK http://mentalfloss.com/article/66938/11-antique-roller-coasters-you-can-still-ride

This is an insane new generation of topspin type of ride. Not sure if this has already been posted, I could not find anywhere on KIC. https://www.yahoo.com/tech/s/m-getting-queasy-just-watching-insane-amusement-park-172145436.html
