I like "Flight of Fear" name too . . just speculating as to why they would register two names. I know there could be a dozen reasons why. I just see them wanting to re-theme the entire area to go along with the new Giga. Actually I would not like a re-theme inside FOF . . just fine how it is. You're right people will probably still call it "Flight of Fear". I still call "The Bat" "Top Gun" sometimes.

I think this is where the Haunt attraction will be relocated to. Then the other building being built in the trees past the "Firehawk" trains will be the new maintenance building.

I think the Giga will be "Polaris" because 323' will be hill drop (just my theory). Then they'll rename Flight of Fear to "Orion" so we'll have an all new space themed X-Base area. Kind of like how they renamed "Flight Deck" to "The Bat" when they put in "Banshee"

I thought this was a well done video that is very informative in 11+ minutes. Has some good comparisons to how Cedar Fair parks business plans compare to Six Flags. I really cannot confirm the facts stated but just based on general knowledge it seemed correct.

I would like to see the water feature come back. I know they can't put full lake back, but maybe just have the mill wheel going with running water.

Was watching a POV for the Diamondback and the thought hit me how they go about inspecting the track daily. I know from reading other posts/articles that woodies like The Beast, Racer, etc. that someone walks the track every morning before it opens. Do rides like the Diamondback get inspected the same? Or do they do more of a from the ground inspection? And/or climb up at certain points and do spot checks??

Maybe someone has already suggested this . . but since the infrastructure is already there, would it make sense to install a small spinner that doesn't pull itself apart like the large spinner? An expansion that included the Little Miami River. I understand concerns of the costs and logistics like running utilities, plus possible flooding to the area . . not sure how often that area floods. And I certainly do not want a dead area like back near 'The Bat'. So it would need an anchor coaster . . how about a Giga running along the river and through the woods. I envision a Dollywood like theming with games, shows, food and a flat or two . . maybe bring back a nostalgic ride. I see attractions like a zipline, new logflume or some other water ride. I know we have a "Rivertown" but since we lost The Beast and Swan Lakes, where's the water? The 'Diamondback' lake just looks too man-made looking, but I think it would be cool to have a boardwalk close enough to get soaked when the trains run by. We really do not see the ‘Whitewater Canyon’ water from the midway. Just my dream . . an expansion like that would probably cost as much as the Giga coaster itself.
