Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
I am hoping that my favorite park gets a Giga from B&M since my home park, @CP doesn't have one, I love Millennium Force but Leviathan and Fury325 are completely different from the experience that Diamondback gives, and Diamondback is my #3 coaster out of 110 lol, I would welcome a Giga, but am doubtful as of now...

KI Food Service Ideas
"Macho Nacho" I believe it was called... just northwest of skyhawk, great food, always fresh, and reasonable at $8 for a plate enough for two.

KI Food Service Ideas
Until 2012 I always made the Taco Stand in FrontierTown my go to spot for cheap, good food, but that changed and I am back to leaving the park for good price appropriate food lol

KI Food Service Ideas
From a guests perspective, one that only visited CP 3 to 4 times a season for the past 20 years and made a trip to KI every other year starting 2008, which I switched to yearly visits im 2010 since Diamondback is my #2,coaster after Maverick, honetly the food situation at CP has been much better than KI for years now...

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
@beastgal I have been around since 2007 lurking in the shadows but never made an account til the first big decoding forum of 2014 aka Banshee, however the time I have been an enthusiast far exceedes that timeline... MICoasterguy who has ridden over 100 coasters in my 36 years, has an interest in being employed at Cedar Fair, and worked towards being in the industry his entire time in college...

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
@beastlyBanshee I hate the you felt targeted or called out, I felt the same way when I joined Pointbuzz, CoasterBuzz, and even here at KICentral but I have learned to just let the little things roll off my back. Don't let anyone keep you from posting here, speculation is what keeps these forums going! And again not hating on anyone but just encouraging new members to not afraid to post because of comments that may follow. MIcoasterguy who is a homegrown coaster enthusiast, born and raised on trips to Cedar Point and ventured out to other theme parks as an adult, not affiliated with any coaster clubs, sites, or any other bs that doesn't matter lmao!!! I love to hear what people think are coming, that's what fuels our speculation!!!

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
@thrill_biscuit I appreciate the new entrance as well!!! A vast improvement that was long overdue, I never cared about the long hike from the midway but some of the GP may have felt otherwise. The new queue/entrance is awesome and overdue!!! Now if we could figure out a better use for the hike back to The Bat... that'd be great...

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
@silver2005 I completely agree!! I love the Cedar Point installations of the great Dick Kinzel/Intamin Era!!! TTD, WT, Maverick, MF, and even STR!!! But I also value human life beyond the idea of "acceptable accidents" give me a good old forceful B&M, i.e. Banshee, over a maintainance nightmare, i.e. Maverick or TTD for KI anyday!!!

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
Sorry for the double post, using mobile :-/ But just so we are clear, I am trolling, I can clearly see that Cedar Fair hasn't had an interest in Intamin for a while now...

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
From my two visits to the park this season I am kinda torn that this clearing in Rivertown is just the renovation for WWC and the new entrance and exit... I am not 100% convinced but I am leaning towards this being a "park upgrade" and maybe a Rivertown upgrade for project 2018... Not trying to crush anyone's dreams or hopes for our "alleged" Cowboy Coaster, I mean if we have some "Intamin Credits" we are well overdue to use them unless Cedar Fair is saving them for parts and maintenance on TTD, Maverick, Wicked Twister, or Millenium Force lmao!!!

Since when did food service close at 7pm?
I experienced a similar experience on Sunday 5/22, it was at the bar near the pond in Oktoberfest, I was in line before 7pm, park closed at 8, but told at 6:58 after standing for a few minutes that myself and no one behind me would be served. I felt it was kinda in bad taste since myself and a few other guests were allowed to wait before being notified that they were not taking any more customers.

Coasterstock 2016
I was just about to head that way, guess I will get another lap in on Diamondback...
-
Coasterstock 2016
Sadly I will not be a participant of Coasterstock this year but I will be in the park this weekend on 5/21 and 5/22 for my 1st KI trip of the year!!! Have a blast on the ERT and BTS tour for me guys!

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
^I wouldn't make Maverick being down over last weekend a reason to postpone a trip to CP, it is down multiple times a day and a valley isn't a huge deal.
-
Project 2017?
All this Intamin talk is getting my excited lol!!! I think I am channeling YoungStud and BeastGal because I want a shiny new Cowboy Coaster!!! MIcoasterguy who couldn't resist trolling lol

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
^last time Maverick aka "Cowboy Coaster" valleyed in 2013 they just pulled the train through the final inversion to the brake run/launch tunnel and the coaster opened shortly after.

Flight of Fear Construction...
Sorry I have been a little lacking in "Interpreting Sarcasm" since all the talk of "Cowboy Coasters" and alleged Intamin credits lmao!!!
-
Flight of Fear Construction...
KI had a Huss Giant Top Spin "inside of the box in Rivertown"... Not the same one KD has currently that is still in operation, our TR:TR/TheCrypt has been dismantled as rumors say it was "tearing itself apart", again rumors, but KI also got rid of thier Huss Giant Enterprise aka SkyLab as well. Edit: only posted about the rumor because I experienced both TR:TR and The Crypt and the ride experience was greatly neutered for lack of a better word, which lead me to believe said rumors had a bit of weight behind them, again just my opinion about the reason why it was removed, I have no credible source lol

Sorry for the double post but here is a link to YouTube, it was 2013. https://youtu.be/ZvLYSNgt7qM Edit: Even more interesting is when Millennium Force valleyed a couple years ago they separated the train cars and removed them one by one.
