Those pics are great...it brings back so many memories that I thought were gone. I spent a WHOLE LOTTA time at Kings Island as a kid, my guy and I have passes for this year, too bad he doesn't have the passion that I do for the park,

Ya lost me on this one.

I forgot about the ice show...that was my grandma's favorite part about going...she went weekly until she was 77. Talking about dedication, she went to Coney too before Kings Island was ever thought about. She bought passes for all the grandkids and we all have a thing for the park. I agree with the characters walking around the park...we loved Captin Caveman! Whoever played him in the summer of 89' was a friggen riot! So here is my list FWIW: * The picnic grove-wow a family didn't have to apply for a loan to eat! * The shows...I loved participating in them and the ice show was the greatest. * Removal of King Cobra....urrr....that's all I can say. * Slowing down of the coasters...Brakes are nice, but come on! * The Ferris Wheel I can't say why, but I miss this. * Good pizza with lots of cheese. * The Footprints leading up to The Beast...who didn't try to follow on them? * Race cars(like the old time cars) in kiddie land. * Smurfland removal, then Phantom Theatre was cool, but Scooby Doo's Adventure is CHEAP looking! At least the could have lasers so you could aim your gun. *Winterfest... *Nice books when entering the park... That is all I can think of right now...this is just my .02 so don't get all fired up.

I would be there, but would a cup of hot chocolate be $10.00? I think the ice skating would be fun, I really miss how the park was in the 80's...I would like to see characters walking around again too. I girl can dream can't she?

I would be so mad if they got rid of Vortex. I also can't remember a lake being there. I hate that Paramount owns the park too...I can't help but think back to the days before they bought it....ahhh...

I think The Beastie needs it the worst...purple?? What were they thinking...I kinda liked the yellow they had back in my days as a kid... Good old Jim Shoe..LOL! Also, not to nag, but I miss The Beast FEET...Really paint them back!!! Urrr.... :censored:
