Fearfest Preview!
It is deeply rude of you, and it disgust me to hear that you try to make these hard working people night bad! Sure the occasional "hey I like your make-up" or "your ugly as hell" comments is fine... but when you keep pushing and pushing to get an actor to do something... that is beyond rude and it's not cute or funny! But believe me, in the haunting world... there are ways we solve this problem! It's been done before! -Hauntguy

Beast Bash 2005 & Fearfest!
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing that with us! -Hauntguy

Question- Fearfest
The facade is waterproof... it has to be! The foam that comprises the facade is/was hardcoated before installation. It's kind of a haunt standard that all facades be waterproof or they would not last an entire season. As for me, I hated CotC... it was too dark and the theming was confusing! I for am sort of glad to see it go. Maze of Madness is still one of better haunts at Fearfest. My group got lost and had to turn around countless times, it was alot of fun! -Hauntguy

FEARFEST
Also remember that Fearfest is FREE with park ticket. Halloween Horror Nights (Universal) is a seperate ticket event... allowing them more money to make better haunts and hire more people! With PKI as packed as it is during Fearfest.... even a small $15 Fearfest ticket is enough to make the next Fearfest alot better! I would pay for it! -Hauntguy PS: I know this is talked about alot, but it's a point worth making!

FEARFEST
I loved all the fog!! I think Coney Maul needed ALOT more and something done with the Action FX Theater line! But overall... this is the best Fearfest year ever! -Hauntguy

FEARFEST
My entire group was scared in all the houses numerous times... The overall scariest with the "startle" factor has to be PsychoPath. All the attractions were awesome and very scary!!! I will try to right a full on review of Fearfest later. We were also able to do every attraction except Friday the 13th (did that last year). -Hauntguy

Fearfest
PKI should use the ticket system for every haunt! Keep the lines down on everything... it would work! -Hauntguy

Hauntguy's Fearfest Preview
Fearfest offically begins this Friday, October 1st... and then is ever Friday and Saturday for the scary part of Fearfest. Sunday's is the "kid" side of Fearfest and "Nick or Treat". I am glad you enjoyed the pics... thanks for the comments! -Hauntguy

Hauntguy's Fearfest Preview
Lostgirl, I am only stating what was told to me by a PKI employee... I know that we most likely won't be down there. But it would not be the first time a park has did this.... just look at CP! -Hauntguy

Fearfest
The queue will be hidden fairly well... This attraction is using a TON of burlap and erosion cloth, also alot of those "crates" as seen in CORNstalkers! I can only imagine what PKI is doing! !!! -Hauntguy
-
Fearfest
I am simply stating what a park employee told me! Also, from the Miami Valley Railroad you can clearly see the empty WWC!!! All I can say is go ride it yourself and see exactly what I am talking about. Or go to Fearfest, do this attraction and come back and apologize! Your ass will be feel so stupid once you see how right I am! -Hauntguy

Hauntguy's Fearfest Preview
Thanks for the comments guys... If PKI wanted too, they could operate the Circus of Horrors starting at 3 or 5!!! Even in the afternoon... the Festhaus is still pretty dark! I don't see why they couldn't do it? -Hauntguy

Hauntguy's Fearfest Preview
Hey guys, For several pictures of Fearfest construction and my preview... click this link: http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures...l?id=2120228113 (From the Fearfest thread) ------------------------------------------------------------- CORNstalkers is the path between Paradise Island stand and that first set of restrooms. This is going to be one insane area! The scarecrows are awesome looking and all the old prop and "scareboxes" look creepy as hell! Headless Hollow is the train... but no need for hiking boots! We got our wish on this one... HH is the "Q-line" for WWC!!!! The train will drop you off at a portion of the ride and you'll walk the Q back! Also, I heard that you'll actually walk down in the ride part itself! No, there are no parts or gadgets to get in your way! WWC is a solid concrete path... it'll be like walking on a sidewalk! I got some pics of the set-up on this one as well... from both the exit ramp and from on the train! Rivertown is not a "decked out" as it seems... there are several "blank" spots where the designs seem to fall short compared to the rest of the area! CORNstalkers is you first and only worry! There where parts of Curse of the Crypt next to PsychoPath... mainly the facade and that part you crawl through! The facade of House of Darkness (Now RL Stine's FearStreet) is changed completely! It now looks like a new, un-tortured home! I think it looked better before the change! It just doesn't look creepy! There are a TON of old PT animations in the Action Theater line... and also an old 'Tique is there, themed as a "car of the dead" for Fearfest! Could this be a hint of something to come? Circus of Horrors is in it's same place... and is it just me, or does Circus of Horrors look bigger? Again, there is NO theming in Action Zone (it's a shame!) The Coney Mall had it's props and decorations up. If one looks hard enough you'll see old CotC props! There was NO props or decoration for Fearfest on International Street! So I hope they get that done quick! --------------------------------------------------------- I do have a few concerns... 1) It's says that it all starts at 8!!! That means in ONLY four hours we need to get in about 8+ attractions... IMPOSSIBLE!!! I hope some of the attractions open at 3 like last year... give us all a chance to visit all the attractions! 2) International street have yet to see any Fearfest changes... I hope I am wrong and IS will be as decked out as Rivertown! 3) Maybe next year, something can be done with Action Zone... It has great potential to be horrifying! I hope you guys enjoyed the pictures... I will see you all at Fearfest this year! Happy Haunting. -Hauntguy

Fearfest
That would be an awesome job! But I think I would do better if I were in-charge of Fearfest! At least (I think) it would be alot better! But I am very happy with the direction PKI is going with Fearfest. They need to try and get to the level and status of Knott's Halloween Haunt and Universal's Halloween Horror Nights!!! Maybe some day!!! -Hauntguy

Fearfest
OK guys, My pictures are uploading to my Imagestation account as I type this... only a few more minutes! I hope you guys will enjoy these! -Hauntguy

Fearfest
Guys to clear some things up... My Fearfest preview should be up soon! I just need to get my pics developed! As for the actual attractions: CORNstalkers is the path between Paradise Island stand and that first set of restrooms. This is going to be one insane area! The scarecrows are awesome looking and all the old prop and "scareboxes" look creepy as hell! Headless Hollow is the train... but no need for hiking boots! We got our wish on this one... Fearfest is going to be a awesome time this year... see you there! -Hauntguy

Fearfest 2005
Actaully, when PKI bought the Circus of Horrors from Larry Kirchner (Halloween Productions Inc.) he asked if they would also like to have the train modified for Fearfest... it's one of the many services that Larry offers... and PKI said NO!!! But I doubt the train will be used for a major Fearfest attraction... but I could be wrong! I will take a GOOD look around when I am there later this month and give you all the "low-down". -Hauntguy

Fearfest 2005
OK... 1) PKI is NOT getting cornStalkers... that corn your seeing is for the kids portion of Fearfest. They are having a little corn maze for them. 2)Steven, my post was just kinda a rant that I told you guys about the Sleepy Hollow stuff... so, I told you so! 3)I don't think any attraction or scarezone will follow the train track. If anything, the "hollow" might be the path from the entrance of White Water Canyon all the way through the exit. I am having one of those feelings. Take Care. -Hauntguy
