  1. I love how you compare bandwidth and cops time in the same breath. You posted that you will call the cops on people if they complain on the service they receive. Are you serious?
  2. Maybe someone that works for KI will read this and make some changes so we don't have to repeat our order 2-3 times and we don't have to wait 12 minutes AFTER we placed our order. The only thing that needs changed is your attitude. I help out at my grandma's diner all the time and nothing gets on our nerves more than an impatient customer. Stomping around, yelling at us, and calling us names is not going to get your food out faster. If anything it'll just make us call the cops on you. And would you rather take 30 seconds to repeat your order, or have to wait another 10-15 minutes if the wrong order is given to you? Patience is a virtue, ignorance is not. Nothing like wasting valuable tax dollars by calling the cops on impatient diners.

  4. Oh, I get it now.....Can I have onion on a bun and I would like to add a hotdog to that.
  5. Do you really believe she was up selling? Medford had a certificate for four cheese coneys for 99 cents and he wanted a plain hotdog added to it. How hard is that to decipher? I have never been to a Skyline and have the waitress say "would you like chili added to that plain hotdog for 40 cents or we can add cheese to your hotdog for another 25 cents"
  6. I guess I'm not the only one that had problems with Skyline at the park.
  7. We don't have "Youth" admission or Backyard BBQ tickets. We have Junior tickets, which is guests ages 3 and up but less than 48 inches tall. Guests age 62 and over are considered Seniors. We don't have "Youth" admission or Backyard BBQ tickets. We have Junior tickets, which is guests ages 3 and up but less than 48 inches tall. Guests age 62 and over are considered Seniors. So age has nothing to do with how much you pay for the Backyard BBQ? Do the parents of "Big people little world" get to eat using a junior ticket?
  8. Since we are all Gold pass members, we decided to try the Backyard BBQ for the first time. Upon arriving they have Gold Pass adults at $10.99 and youth at $6.99. I was shocked to find out that youth is considered from the ages of 3-7. Long story short, we decided to pass on the dinner since four out of five of us are considered adults. When you look at the KI web page, they have NO AGES LISTED when it comes to purchasing Backyard BBQ online. HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT IS CONSIDERED YOUTH? When you go to the front gate of Backyard BBQ, they don't post what the ages are for youth rate. My three daughters are all under ten and in most restaurants they all eat off the childs menu but at KI it seems to be a surprise. Anyone else have the same problem?
  9. Believe what you want but it was 12 minutes after I placed my order.
  10. I would agree that sometimes things happen but if you're familiar with that Skyline, you can watch what the employees are doing. He was moving as slow as a human can move and B.S.ing with other workers.
  11. Then again, maybe my rant got their butt moving for the next order!! All I hear is maybe this and maybe that. I still feel that waiting 12 minutes to get your order AFTER you placed it is a disgrace.
  12. I hope this makes you sleep better tonight. Thanks for adding nothing to the conversation except that I multi quoted. Well done!!
  13. I guess when you are able to watch how slow this guy was moving when people were waiting for food, it really rubs you the wrong way. He had NO sense of urgency!! I have been going to Skyline for a number of years and I have never had a problem with how quick I received my order. Skyline is my first choice on going to for lunch when I need to get in and out for lunch and I am rarely disappointed. This post is NOT to pick on KI workers but when I spend over $24.00 for lunch for six coneys and a 3 way, I expect to get it in a reasonable time.
  14. How is putting some pre-made spaghetti and covering it with pre-made chili from scratch?
  15. Wow. Talk about over reaction. AS A FORMER SKYLINE WORKER. It takes a minute or two to make all the food. Calm that down. You can wait for your food like a big boy/girl. EDIT: I forgot to mention, you don't want coneys and ways to be slopped together. They make a horrid mess! You're exactly right!! It takes a minute or two to make all the food.
  16. I paid with a credit card and they gave my refund back in cash.
  17. I was able to watch the guy making the coneys and 3 ways and he was barely moving!! If you think waiting 12 minutes to get your food AFTER you placed your order is the norm then I have nothing to say. It is not that hard to put a scoop of spaghetti in a bowl and top it off with chili and cheese.
  18. I would like to share my experience at the Skyline next to the scrambler today. I waited in line for only about 2 minutes before I could order which was fine but AFTER I ordered (large 3-way and six cheese coneys) I waited for over 10 minutes and my order was still not ready. I contacted the girl working and she took my receipt and walked in the back to ask and then came back and handed the receipt back to me without saying a word. At this point after watching the guy making the food move about as slow as one can move, I yelled into the window that I wanted my money back NOW!! She went ahead and refunded my money and I moved on my way. KI needs to either pay their workers more money or get rid of these stiffs that they have working for them. I know that they are not all like this but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
  19. I had our "family drink wristband" on today and went to the LaRosas in Rivertown to get a 20 oz water and the girl told me that she got in trouble for giving someone water with one of these wristbands. I said this is crazy that I can't get a water and went ahead and ordered a Fanta Orange!! A supervisor overheard our conversation and told the girl that she can give water to those that have wristbands.
  20. I guess the question is - do you believe that this is the intent of the refillable souvenir cups and the fun perks offer? I'm sure the system can be adjusted in the future to only give perks to one family member. I would love to hear your system on how ONE family member can't share their drink with another family member. I will agree that this is not the intent of KI but I will not lose any sleep doing this. I would love to hear from people that are doing the same thing.
  21. We went today and the longest we waited was 20 minutes for the Diamondback. I was shocked on how many people I saw that paid for Fast Passes for a Tuesday. i guess they have money to burn
  22. We went today and I talked to a supervisor at the Fun Perks Station near the entrance of the park and she said that you can only buy a $5.00 band for refills of the souvenier cup only. Since we are a family of five, I used only my daughter's free wristband coupon and she put it on my wrist. We shared a drink all day and we still have four more left for future visits.
  23. Any chance that they could have some sort of sign on the changing stalls? I have no idea if anyone is in one of the stalls and the only way to find out is banging on the door. It wouldn't cost that much for K.I. to install an occupied or not occupied sign on the door.
  24. We went for the first time last Sunday to take advantage of the Gold Pass Soak City perks and took the train over to ride the Diamondback and check out the park after swimming. Well, I decided to get some fries at the Potato Works and I gave the guy my Gold Pass to scan only to forget it when I left. After a few more rides, we took the train back to Soak City where we parked our car only to find out I couldn't get back into Soak City since it was a Gold Pass Only day!! I went ahead and stayed on the train to go back to the Potato Works and ran to the booth hoping to get back on the same train as my family waited and was fortunate enough that the gate keeper let us on after she closed the gates. After all this, my six dollar cup of fries was not credited to my account!
