  1. I think the railroad crew was awesome this year but The Beast's was the best. The ride op was talking like Batman the whole entire time we were in line. "Enjoy your ride on the world's longest wooden roller coaster. I'm Batman"
  2. YoungStud, please stop using Big Sexy to back up your Intamin posts. You're just embarrassing yourself.
  3. This is what I picture when I read this topic
  4. Kingda Ka could fall to the ground and he'd still praise the company
  5. Well when all your rides have the same name, that doesn't really help either
  6. Yea, I'm not really a get scared and like it person. I'll stick to Hallowfest and Howl o Palooza
  7. Really, a week? YoungStud, I would not trust you in the amusement park industry. Six Flags is kinda screwed in my opinion. The coaster was bad as it was when it was still "Texas Giant." Since all the parks share the same name, the company has gotten a bad reputation over the years from other incidents. That doesn't really happen with companies like Cedar Fair. Its not like people stopped riding Congo Falls at Kings Island because of the Shoot the Rapids accident in Cedar Point.
  8. I'm my opinion, they don't have a lot of room for expansion, just renovation
  9. We have heard Mr. Ouimet say that theming is not a huge priority with Cedar Fair. But now we are seeing tons of theming such as with Banshee, and the new dark ride in Canada's Wonderland. Does this mean that Cedar Fair is taking a new approach?
  10. I say if they got rid of Tower Gardens and the lockers and the games, the place would be open for extra theming and perhaps a new ride.
  11. My friend and I went to KI yesterday from 2 through 10. We took advantage of the $1 ice cream before we hit Adventure Express.later we rode The Beast. After that, it started to get gray and then the lightning came. We ran to Boo Blasters and rode it before it really started to pour. My friend had the "bright" idea of grabbing some random tray from Hank's, and carrying it with him everywhere we went, even though he was the one with the hat on. So we took shelter under the old Massacre Manor entrance, which was genius. After the rain let it, it was still lightning, so we just decided to walk around. I got some chili cheese fries from the Coney Mall Skyline. So I assumed that everyone left because when they re opened the rides, they were all walk on. The first ride to open was the Miami Valley Railroad. My friend was too scared to get his butt wet so I rode the train without him. It was super sweet because the steam was more visible and the wheels kept on slipping. After the train ride, I got to go up into the cab on #19. It was kinda dark, so even with my flash I cold only get one good picture. I met Tyler at Boo Blasters and rode that twice in a row before advancing to The Beast in the darkness of night. We rode that twice in a row because it was a walk on. I felt Tyler so I could ride Diamondback, which was also a walk on, so I rode that twice. Then I returned to The Beast for a final ride. After that, Tyler wanted to try Vortex so I let him watch it run. We walked up to the ride entrance but it was blocked off, but a maintenance worker let us go through the exit. So we rode it during the fireworks, which was spectacular! After us, the ride was closed, so we just headed out to the car and called it a night. Pics and vids coming soon.
  12. I went yesterday at around 2 and stayed until ten. It was really pretty until ablit 5, then it started to get crappy. Great TR
  13. Fixed it, Terp. Auto correct is not my friend
  14. No it was Scooby Doo-Beastie-Fairly Odd Coaster-Woodstock Express
  15. Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear, Eagles, Backwards Racer, Old Railroad
  16. I'm disappointed that we don't have a cool name like Afterburn. Even Thunder Road would have sounded better
