I went to Busch Gardens Tampa and rode Shiekra. After we got off the ride they had multiple tvs that had me on the ride. Should KI do something similar?
I've been to Kings Island for many years and I have to fav sections: Rivertown and Coney Mall. I love Coney Mall mostly for X-base. I know Dinosaurs Alive is right next to Firehawk but is there a chance to expand to make it its own section or will it stay a dead end subsection of Coney Mall? I apologize if there is a similar thread.
I was on facebook the other day and I saw a KD post that stoped me in my tracks. I was surprized and shocked to see Kd was getting a record breaking atteaction that has something to do with a space shuttle.http://www.kingsdominion.com/ What do you think this teaser means? I apologize if this is already on here.
thank you! I was wondering, why does Kings Dominion get to keep their stand up? I know the ride hurt but I thought that if they were given a choice, they should've kept it.
When King Cobra was taken down I was told it was because on limited parts. But why does KD get to keep Shockwave? Was King Cobra's parts given to Shockwave? I apologize if there is a similar thread.
When I went to Kings Island with my cousin and we were in line for Flight of Fear and we were outside by the que enter. Then we were approached by a ride opperator who asked us about our day and we struck up a conversation. When we actually went to the ride, we were approached by another guy asking us about our day. I was surprized, is it just me or are the empolyees a lot more hospitable than before?
What if they put most of the stuff over in Soak City? I thought it was succesful when The Beach did their christmas thing. People could Iceskate in one of the wave pools and the train could drop them off @ the waterpark to save people time from walking in the snow. Just a thought.
I agree that it will be a Haunt attraction buy I disagree that's it's going to last more than 1 season. They're not just going to have a big haunted attraction there during the regular season. It would kinda be the same situation as sob except they would have the option to take down the building. They wouldn't be able to remove the crypt area from the park map like sob.
Four parks were owned by Paramount that were bought by Cedar Fair: Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Carowinds and Canada's Wonderland. Of those four, which park benefitted the most from the ownership change?
Well, KI was the built before KD so during the first couple years of operation KD would just repeated what KI did. When they were bought by paramount, KD just started to go it's seperate way after they expanded.
KI all the way!
Even though Racer is a very historic and popular ride for KI, I still think it isn't as good without the backwards train. Do you think the Cedar Fair took out the backwards train because it was a paramount thing even though one train became backwards before paramount bought KI? I'd like to see the backwards train be put back. What do you think?
