  1. I don't think Verruckt is attracting anyone to the park so far this year. They should take out that second 'r' and replace it with an 'F'.
  2. I pretty much hate every single person at the amusement park, fair, etc. on the days that I choose to go. You too buddy!
  3. Since the theme of BLSC is irrelevant anymore at this point anyway...I would personally say to do away with the entire scene at the 'stopped' portion of the ride and simply have a darkened area that launches into the darkened tunnel. I mean, If I didn't know that it was themed to the Italian Job, I wouldn't even know what the hell was going on in that ride. Shoot, I never saw Italian Job, so I honestly don't know what is going on with the theme anyway.
  4. Black and White eh? Might just have to head over to FedEx Kinko's and print a few of these on the preferred cardstock. 100 Number 000001 please...
  5. I want to see this thing mang. Girlfriend and I will be there next year...though she is the Potter fan more than I. I'm more of a David Lynch kind of fella...a indie sort of Jim Jarmusch guy.
  6. Holy Crap its going backwards for that pic. EDIT Or... It appears to have no seagull crap on it? Trick question OP.
  7. Me too man... My files from those were at work and they didn't get shrinked down at all. Its my fault with the size of them.
  8. I remember loving the ride up stop...its why I have asked all these years in various places.
  9. I asked them to send me some info if they had some...or just pictures if unwilling to part ways with information. I also told them there is a lack of anything about that ride out there on the internet and to look for themselves. Don't know what they may respond with.
  10. You have to expand the caption...which I didn't do at first. They credit KICentral.
  11. APE's photo is infamous already as shown on WCPO's website... AND...they copyrighted it in sorts...or so the disclaimer throws one off.
  12. Perhaps KI should have put Firechaser Express in the park instead of that other new ride for this year. ::hangs head::
  13. They should move a Sausage Food Cart over there by it and perhaps it wouldn't look too suspicious.
  14. Found some other pictures but forgot to post them: https://www.flickr.com/photos/musher2012/sets/72157627886038172 I don't recall the one I rode looking this nice. *Also, there you have it...Wisdom Industries.
  15. I get nervous that my gun won't work on Boo Blasters, thus making that ride utterly irrelevant and even more un-enjoyable.
  16. The thing that binds them right now is all too readilly available in spades... the money they lost could pay for the very thing they may need in the future. And I believe they give 8% gate money for the very thing they need. Its VERY ironic to me that they are in a water crisis on a ****king peninsula surrounded by **** king water right now. Not mad at all...I just don't understand the lack of preperation or foresight. But the money is good. Let's sit on it. Money. Let's not forget we made money. Invest it...let's talk to the investors...the shareholders...what do? Make more? OK. Let's reinvest in this money? Shareholders? What say you...? Soapbox? Yep...i just got off it. And kicked it to the street. I really don't care about this setback. Just more a point in industry, government and accountability in general. EDIT 8ithcing to 8itch basically. Nor do I care...I wasn't going there today or tomorrow...but I am certain...that THOUSANDS were.
  17. All I'm inferring is that CP is going to lose ALOT of money on this debacle. Money that that the Sandusky paupers take from them daily. It is a 20-50 year catastrophe...but money is money ...and the irony is off the charts...to me anyway. They should not be relying on the players that steal...and should be relying on their own resourcefullness.
  18. Its really too bad that some source of water close by couldn't be utilized for Cedar Point that didn't rely on a small connected town infrastructure (and politics)...but I wouldn't even know where they could make use of such an idea...or where the water for such an idea would come from. Oh the ironing as they say.
  19. Do you know anything of this ride Terp? I know you know many things...and see you hanging out in this thread. Have you rode this ride man? It was a good one...or so my younger self remembers...
  20. I will put some time into this...while at work of course. Shhhh. Starting Monday. Thanks again for the help. I can't believe the name Boomerang immediately popped in my head just by that Waltzer photo. How strange. It really has taken me a while to find a picture or mention of the ride. Even last year I chimed the thought of it off as a distorted childhood memory.
  21. Great photo^^ That was a fun ride. Thanks so much for the help. Its taken me a few years to now...off and on. I thought it might have been something I only imagined the last few attempts in searching for it. EDIT This really is the best 'parks, rides, coasters' site I have ran across. There are others...but I like it to check in here daily. I also really like that younger dude over at Roller Coaster Philosophy. His view on The Beast is one of the most accurate descriptions I have ever read on the ride. I wish he updated more.
  22. I was at lunch when I saw your picture earlier on my phone. The name Boomerang instantly popped in my head for the first time while staring at that old photo. It was called 'Boomerang'...not The Whip. I also started looking for that on the internet now that you jolted my memory. I ran across this to start: http://imgur.com/wR8SNk5'>src="http://i.imgur.com/wR8SNk5.png" title="Hosted by imgur.com"/>
  23. Wow. That is very similar. I wonder if some were improved upon into the 60s or later?
