The POV of The Smiler makes me have nasuea. Not certain why. Another coaster I watched with excited enthusiasm last year. They were quite viral with it. It looks hard to ride however...not the biggest fan of multiple, multiple inversions. But then again, Banshee is just an inversion machine as well. Oh lordy my aging body. It made fun of my parents so long ago...and now it makes fun of me.

My first ride I will clear my thoughts and enjoy. Hopefully. Enjoy the new ride sensation. Unfortunately, however...I have watched every piece constructed throughout this long winter like the rest of you. So my second ride will be of mind of dissecting each part of the ride, piece ...by piece...by piece as though I was riding it as it was being constructed. I will not allow myself to do that on the first ride. I will only do that once. And enjoy it thereafter as long as its in the park without those thoughts. *also...don't know why I wanted to state that. Enjoy. So short of time now to experience. Can't wait.

I enjoyed my three night runs on Gatekeeper last fall. Its not a white knuckler...but few are. But man was it enjoyable. Probably my second favorite at the park aside from Maverick. Raptor would be...but man that lift and ending brake run kills all enjoyment.

Love reading 80s stories from that place. Sounds like fond memories of a crazy park.

Just buy a locker and attach it to your belt man...I might throw that in the mix too. Laugh all you want. I might even charge a sur-fee if you want to use it. No worries. Just put the bills in my front pocket. ::blushes:: Better tell me first.

I might start wearing a fanny pack this year. Been talking to my emo friends and my peeps who wear a Bluetooth, and we are going to make this fashionable. Might even wear a hulahoop with a red arrow attached that points to the hip pack. Point it out man. Make it cool like basketballs and oversized stuffed animals brahs.

Again, anyone who notices a fanny pack on a person...unless said person is totally hysterical in their own right...is probably a younger person into what their peers acknowledge anyway. Who cares?

I don't have a preference or care in the world about what other people do...as long as they don't impinge on my good time or well being, I'm happy when other people are having the time of their lives...I don't care who they are...what they dress and look like, etc. Still can poke fun though. Just like I'm certain others do of me.

Every ride should. But you should be good to go if you pull your socks up to the knees.

If you recall Terp...I saw that old man who rode Thunderhead in his late 70s daily at Dolly...and I chose there and then, that's what I want to do. Of course, I'm sure his regimen included a few Advils and a few shows afterword. So...yeah. I'm with you too.

Not me terp. And I'm almost forty. I am as giddy to ride as a I was to ride Enchanted Voyage at 4 and seeing Snagglepuss.

I don't get to the park enough to take in shows... That poop can wait until I'm old... Uh...not even then. If I was a local season ticket holder, I would be very happy though. I wish Columbus had an amusement park so I could be. I'd see shows all the time...after work, etc. Man. You folks in Mason are lucky. We get trips on the road to visit parks. You can roll in after work and not be rushed.
