  2. [quote name="Timbo1" post="521587" timestamp=" I mean doesn't HUSS kinda owe CF for the WindSeeker debocal. I can see a series of these rides like JUMP 2, FlyAway, maybe a Large farris wheel. I see footers but even these rides require footing before final concrete pad. Just my thought, maybe that will change once I see footers further out in the fields. Who knows? Modern Huss rides have low reliability, I.e. TR:TR but WindSeeker was made by Mondial, a Swiss company. Huss resides in Germany. But if we are looking for what Huss owes to CF maybe TR:TR?
  3. FoF96", I really hope you don't mind that I snagged a screenshot of your photo, but it's the best one I can find to use for my question. If you don't want me to use it, please let me know and I'll be happy to edit this comment and remove it. So here's my question: In the area I've circled, is it safe to assume these two rectangular footers could be at the base of the lifthill where the lift's motor would be mounted? No problem! You have credit and that's all that mattersOnto the previous post about the footers from yesterday, it was I that posted about that. I said it appears as though one of the triangle footers was removed, it could have also just been a marker that was confused with a footer in a previous photo that was to be placed later. Either that, or if a footer was there and was then removed, it could have POSSIBLY been built/placed wrong, but I have no knowledge of construction and do not know the reason, if it was removed.
  4. That is correct. The concrete slab is gone while the shape from where it was is still there.
  5. I was at the park yesterday and have an interesting photo to share. It appears one of the triangular footers has been removed from behind slingshot. http://s1298.photobucket.com/user/Justiflyer/library/?sort=3&page=1
  6. I guess now that people have given Lance so much about his "verification of wing coaster" that he decided to edit it, I just happened to stumble upon it today. 2014 - Banshee / New Coaster - Rumor - (6/6/13) I’ve been sent a number of messages and tweets about our latest prediction for Banshee to be a B&M Wing Coaster, mostly because Matt Ouimet stated in an interview that Cedar Fair had no Wing Coasters on the drawing boards for 2014. Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time a man in his position has told a white lie to protect a future project in the works… and at the same time, I can’t verify that the 2014 Kings Island ride will be a Wing coaster either. Personally, I think it’s a bit kooky to build follow up Gatekeeper at The Point with such a similar style coaster at Kings Island. As I’ve said before, I’d rather seen a gigantic B&M Inverted coaster or Floorless coaster added instead, something with more than 7 inversions. Of perhaps even a B&M Dive Machine would fit the bill. Of course, there is the remote possibility that we could perhaps be seeing the evolution of the Wing coaster come to Kings Island as well. Going back to when the first rumors about the very first Wing coaster were coming out of Italy, our source said that B&M wanted to evolve their Wing coaster design after a few years to include 4th Dimension style spinning seats. It’s a remote long shot…and no one has even suggested this to me for the Kings Island 2014 project yet, but… I’m just going to put that idea in your heads for now. Don’t even think of it as a “maybe” yet… just think of it as a “What if?” In the meantime, if your local, keep an eye on the track fabrication yard in Batavia, I hear they have some wing coaster track sitting around destined for somewhere…
  7. Actually it was very original. If you do a nice google search the Flight of Fear was the first Linear Induction Motor coaster in the world. So I would call that pretty original on the part of paramount
