Well played

I doubt the park will tease enthusiasts with elaborate secret messages when we are not the target audience for this attraction.

Here is what I've gathered from the last couple weeks of developments. I think we can undeniably say it's a BM at this point. We have: -indents in the concrete and bolt patterns similar to supports on other BM coasters -markings consistent with other BM codes -track outside the plant in Batavia that may or may not be destined for Kings Island What we're debating: -type of ride (giga, invert, dive, floorless, wing) -direction of lift hill and layout in general -name, color scheme, theme Is that the general run down or did I miss something?
-
I like the reveal and construction and all the hype that goes into it. Of course the speculation and riding are super fun too.
-
This is finally getting interesting.

KI says they have 14 roller coasters, I counted 13? what am I missing

Cedar point Meanstreak lives up to it's name
JTW replied to CP&LERR Fan's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I thought Mean Streak was incredibly boring. I hear it actually was mean at one time but the only time I've experienced it was post trim on the first hill so I'll never know. -
I prefer Montu to Raptor personally. I'm not sure if it's the layout, theming, or a combination of the two. Kumba is the only roller coaster that has left me bumfuzzled. Kudos to that ride for that.
-
I prefer the front on just about everything.
-
I'd wager it's the same person.

People do get in line just to accompany others. I am in line with my kids all the time for stuff I'm too tall to ride. My wife has stood in line with me before on days she doesn't feel like riding. The fact that she gave birth in line for a roller coaster seems like a gross exaggeration but her water breaking seems reasonable. For those too young to have experienced children, in most cases a woman's water breaking is only the beginning of child birth. Usually there is plenty of time to reach a proper medical facility.

That area is easily accessible from Columbia Rd behind Great Wolf Lodge.

Reds HOF grille is good and reasonably priced.

Move One Ride from Anywhere in the Country to KI
JTW replied to MarketingExpress's topic in Coming Attractions
I thought it looked fun for its size. There are lots of elements there with a fairly small foot print, and it's SBNO. -

Which was right about the time there was an official announcement wasn't it?
-
I suppose I'll have to reexamine this... I haven't had the pizza in the park for quite a while and was using my memory which is evidently hazy.

1) The Beast 2) Diamondback 3) Adventure Express 4) Firehawk 5) Flight of Fear
-
I think the only difference is the price.
-
That explains a lot in regards to why I was quite disappointed with Mean Streak when I rode it for the first time in 2012.
-
My 5 year old girl is bummed that she is too short for Diamondback. My 6 year old boy is glad he's too short for Adventure Express. They're all different.
-
I guess my point is that inverts aren't typically monstrous. Gigas are and we all know Cedar Fair has recently installed similar style rides at multiple parks.
-
I agree that we barely have footers going in and track is a long way off unless this is a monstrosity that takes 8 months to build.
