I think $20M is a little high only 3 years after spending 24M on Banshee. Surely spending $8M on a GCI is much more responsible. That way you can spend big on a B&M giga in 2019-2020.

This is exactly what I hope they do. Preserve as many trees as possible for that "flying through the forest" kind of feeling one gets when riding The Beast. I think a GCI woodie would fit perfectly in rivertown. And it doesn't need to be taller than The Beast, in fact I'd prefer if it wasn't. I'm thinking 100' tall, zero inversions. Is it Thursday yet?

InvadR is going to be great, even though the name is misspelled. Wait til that one opens, then a trip to BG will be worth it. If you go, you should also check out the eastern shore of VA. Chilled-out version of the outer banks.

KI is hyping the coaster big time, there is not way it could be that thing! They're hyping it because it's new.

That sounds about right considering a lot of people think Vortex is rough. Hopefully we put a Floorless in. I think that the next coaster will be an intamin giga. So if ki were to put in an intamin giga, where could that go? At a Six Flags? I just don't see them building an Intamin anything for a while. A B&M Giga is a possibility. I think it comes down to either a B&M giga somewhere between Action Zone and xbase, A multi-looper(floorless, wing or regular sit down) replacing Vortex, or I could see a newer generation wood coaster between x base and Action Zone. My guess is a B&M giga similar to leviathan in the woods behind FOF. Lots of room back there. Not for at least 5 years though.

I don't mind the "hands down" recording. What is annoying, however, is the song that is constantly being played in the TTD station every time a train is deployed. It would drive me nuts if I was a ride operator.

Is it inaccurate to call it a pretzel? I know it's not the same as the pretzel on, say, tatsu, but it looks similar to me at least in shape. It looks nothing like Montu's batwing or the one on Vortex IMHO. I've been using Pretzel Knot and so far no one that I have seen has jumped aboard. (Because of the exit and entry paths crossing over one another but the track actually twisting..unlike a pretzel loop; pretzel knot has been used on a coaster before.) But if you join today I can promise you free water at any Kings Island drink vendor! I can promise the water even if you don't join.. Can't turn down free water. Although the girl at the jukebox diner did deny me free water last week. Bummer.

Also the colors in that pic look WAY better than the offride/ birds eye vids. Much less pink than expected.

Flight Deck is in need of a PAINT JOB....a SERIOUS ONE... the stairs and the ride station are chipped away..like a bomb went off. Have they ever swept and mopped back there...either? it's always filled with dust/leaves/sticks/etc... So, that could go along with some people's belief that we are getting the Banshee and The Bat...and that logo/color scheme is REAL...it's just not for the new coaster...it's for the Flight Deck's retheme. Then again, probably just a bunch of BS...again... It would be outstanding if the re-opened the old "aircraft carrier" section of flight deck's queue line and re-themed it in a spooky bat-cave fashion. I realize that no-one rides flight deck and it would only make the queue longer, but I still think it would be cool. Especially during Haunt. Thoughts?

I wouldn't mind if this turns out to be a flyer that would fit with the "people will want more of something they like" hint due to Firehawk's well documented popularity. And I think B&M flyers and inverts have very similar supports.

I've got a Ronald Reagan mask somewhere... although that might make people think I'm a shoplifter. Can't have that. Also I'm cool with a B&M invert. Anyone know why after MF, Intamin hasn't really built anything similar to MF besides i305 and bizarro... maintenance issues? Just seems like since it was so successful everyone would want one.
