I honestly do wonder how much that coaster costs.

The other day I changed my signature to include that exact same image (the Coaster Count banner) except for my personal tally. At first I got the same error you said, so I kept trying. I found out that you can't just copy the link of that page of the link you posted, and you have to upload the picture to a host site like Photobucket, Flickr, etc.I just copied the URL of the picture (that I had uploaded to Photobucket) and then pasted it in the special image URL option. It thenshowed up fine. I decided I did not want that image in my signature so I removed it, but I just went back and tried again and sure enough...it works. But like I said, at first I was getting that same error message. But eventually it worked once I uploaded it to a host site. And I just plan on uploading a new banner image to Photobucket whenever it is updated.

When you make a list of photo ops you want to get when you go to the park so you'll be ready to go for next off season's photo contest.

April 17th will be both a very happy and sad day. The speculation and construction of the world's longest inverted coaster will officially come to a close, but also the opportunity to ride it will finally be here!

Michigan's Adventure? They need a new coaster. It doesn't even have to be that big. Or even a drop ride, or some other thrilling ride. Heck, a WindSeeker would fit nicely into that park IMO.

That's awesome that B&M is doing this! Could we see a Cedar Fair park soon be getting a B&M family coaster of some type? As we all know, there are some CF parks (cough cough Cedar Point) that are in need of new family coasters and rides. With the company's decision of B&M for many of their recent additions, I wouldn't be surprised if some parks start getting family B&M coasters.

I like the new paint. I really can't wait to see this whole area between Banshee, The Bat, this new paint, and possibly some other mystery in the Action Zone Circle.

My off season blues are definitely temporarily relieved. So...where are you going next?

Man, this thread is so hard to keep up with! I still have a lot of catching up to do. Let's just say I'm waaay behind. Anyway, Banshee's opening can't get here soon enough. Even though I won't be able to go to the park until June, I can't wait to finally get to ride it!

Cedar Point recently announced a new meal deal for the upcoming season. For $29.99, you can choose an entree and side at the participating food locations in the park, with only a 90 minute wait between meals (not that many people would want to eat meals this frequent, or at least I'd hope so!) I'm not sure if I'd ever take advantage of this deal since if I don't pack food and keep it in the car, then I only eat one full meal in the park during the day, usually accompanied by a snack of some kind, but this could definitely be convenient for some people. If you look closely at that rendering, it appears as if Splash Zone is replaced with what looks like some kind of water coaster...Or at least some type of new slide. Whatever it is, it's definitely not Splash Zone.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet since this name was trademarked on January 23rd. So it looks like we now have both Centurion and Fury floating around out there...One will likely be the Carowinds coaster, but let the speculation begin on where Fury will be going. Going back a little bit to earlier discussion about planning your trips...It can definitely get a little crazy and confusing, especially if you want to get on as much as possible in as little time as possible. Last year I spent a long time looking up all of the attractions, restaurants, and rides at all the parks I'd be going to (Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure) and printed out maps, highlighting or indicating where on the maps the attractions I wanted to go to were so I'd have quick and easy naviation. Plus I sort of familiarized myself with each park's layout the best I could so I'd spend less time trying to figure out directions once I was actually in the park. I also wrote down on the back of each park's map my priority attractions. I made 2 columns, 1 for "musts" and one for "maybes." For each park I wrote down the biggest attractions and the ones I most wanted to get on, and I also wrote down several that I'd want to try if I had time but that I wouldn't be upset about not getting on if I ran out of time. This helped out a lot. Then at the parks (the Disney ones, not Universal) it could get sort of crazy trying to coordinate Fast Passes and what rides to go on when. In no way did Disney make things simple, but as long as you're organized and well planned, it's a great place. Or at least it was. I'm still not sure what I think about this whole new system.
