Starting to Decode 2014
so basically this coaster coming to Kings Island is going to be a B&M invert and now the only decoding left is the announcement date, which as of Kings Island PR's tweet stating "I am thinking of a number 1-31 any guesses" means its going to be this coming month.... The only thing there is to argue about now is what the ride will be like and what day is going to be the announcement...

Has anyone put i. Thought that possibly that blue track support at CSF is heading down to kentucky kingdom? They announced that they are building a new steel coaster for the parks reopening in 2014.

I was at Kings Island the other day, and the teaser signs had tape over a previous quote on the teaser like the prop has been used before.

I'm not too far away either (joke) we could team up, dress in tacticool clothing, and wait it out haha

There's plenty of room for speculation, heck next thing you know it was intanim the whole time and they end up building a massive giga coaster. ( That's me dreaming. )

It would be interesting if b&m developed a suspended coaster like flight deck, i would actually like to see those type of coasters make a comeback, flight deck is awesome buts its a little on the short side..

your a little late to the party, we dropped the b&m vs intanim topic on the last page!

I could go commando and drive all the way to b&m ( 10 mins up the road ) and attach myself underneath the flatbed and wait out for delivery

im a huge intanim fan but your ignorance towards other coaster manufactures is starting to show. B&m make very reliable coasters that are not as thrilling as an intanim coaster but at least its reliable , i went to Cedar Point last week and top thrill broke down both times i got in line for it and the maverick broke down as well when I was in line for it... As for the b&m coasters there they were all operating.

I'm gonna guess you sent Lance the same info that I did and got a response asking if the pictures were yours and if not, he needs permission. Am I correct? . You are correct

At this time of year it's safe to say its going to Kings Island, i remember when Diamondback was built the storage shed was the first to be built and these are supports for that. Expect an announcement within a couple weeks.

The B&M plant in batavia is currently making track i drove past it the other day and i saw the track being assembled threw the garage door that was open.... I have a picture of it but I can't figure out how to post it from my ipad... I might drive by again today for a better picture.

The evidence against a giga coaster is that the footers that are already poured are not spaced out far enough to support a 300ft lift hill. Unless its a very steep incline..

Starting to Decode 2014
As much as i want a giga coaster i do not want one built by b&m, no offense to b&m Diamondback is a awesome coaster.

Gatekeeper uses adjacent footers for its station track. http://forum.nolimits-exchange.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=2613 Im not throwing the invert coaster out but, we know its a b&m coaster it's just a matter of what type of b&m we are getting.

matt ouimet stated in a interview that Kings Island has a pretty darn good entrance, if anything it would be to spruce it Up, at the main gate... it's possible we could see the new coaster do a flyover in Action Zone, which makes me wonder if we could be possibly getting a winged coaster regardless on what Matt stated in a interview.. The storage shed footers have alot of space in between them, does anyone have pictures of the Gatekeeper storage shed footers?

Ya i have ridden Gatekeeper and its a awesome coaster kinda short ride tho, but i think there's an issue were Cedar Fair will not let its other parks outdo the flagship park Cedar Point in terms of records, this coaster being a b&m makes me think that if we were to break a record it would be 200 ft invert coaster, which sounds good to me!

I don't wish to see flight deck go but it only makes sense, i felt the same way about Son of Beast, if they remove flight deck they could add more flat rides and possibly give way for room to a giga coaster running along the outside of the park so it wouldn't take up space.. Personally if we were to get a giga i would hope for an intanim, not saying i have anything against b&m, Diamondback is excellent!
