off topic: ive been looking through rcdb.com now and while some of the info is right, some of it is also wrong. it says afterburn at carowinds is 113ft tall and its actually 144ft tall. so now i dont really believe that site 100% either. and if anyone wants to 2nd guess that, here's this... one of the few sites to have the specs right. http://themeparks.about.com/od/coasterridereviews/ss/Carowinds-Roller-Coasters.htm

flight deck and Vortex are complete clones down to the last detail speed and height too. nice pics! the best ive seen from outside of the park. the zero g roll looks great.

Kings Island stated it in the comments on the picture. Its further down in the comment section on the picture of the dive loop. i hope Delirium goes. i couldnt believe how sh!tty the ride cylce has become over the years. one time at full swing and then its done? no thanks thats not even worth the wait with Fast Lane. it should be replaced with a newer type by the company behind black widow at kennywood.

i also reposted in the Action Zone re-theme thread, and i also said horror/haunted hollow.

not complaining but when are they going to tell us the height of the inversions? sorry my ocd gets to me, i like to know every fact i can about a ride. i do know that the first loop is 120-130ft because Delirium comes close to the loop crest when its full height is reached, if it does anymore. side note: off topic for a minute... but good lord what the h#ll happened to Delirium's ride cycle? one full height swing (2 if you're lucky) and done? not worth the wait even with Fast Lane... sorry now that was complaining. black widow at kennywood is just so much better.

who ever doubted that there are black and orange bats, just googled it and saw a pic of one. it was really cool looking.

i stand corrected about the supports. guess i never paid attention to the rides except Banshee.

is anyone else amazed at how many supports are on this ride? i ive seen 3 b&m inverts (raptor, afterburn, alpengheist) and dont remember them having that many supports. if Banshee was named with something that went along with the colors of brown supports and green track it would literally look like a forest after the zero g roll... or is that just me?

ok scratch the in-line twist being a first for ki (slipped my mind about Firehawk), but the other 3 are still new. and i consider Banshee's "batwing" as more of a pretzel loop,but thats just me... anyone else?

and going back to who ever said the zero g roll will be ki's first, the dive loop, immelman, and in-line twist are also new inversion types for the park. just wanted to spit that out.

well then hopefully the orange they use on The Bat wont look yellow when it starts to fade. only few coasters can pull off being yellow. Invertigo for me was not one of them so i was happy when they painted it blue last year.

technically Vortex's rails are the only thing orange on the track vs The Bat's entire track being orange soon. plus the orange will more than likely pop against the trees and Banshee from EF.

this is just plain awesome. wish i was alive when the original bat was standing so i couldve experienced it.
